I love the Cookie Plug. The workers are friendly, helpful and ready to answer questions. They make big, thick, phat cookies (phatties) as well as cookie dough to take home and bake. If you cant eat them all, the phatties freeze well and reheat well. They have daily specials and bake a special phatty of the month. Their purple drank is super refreshing. Its a great place to take family for dessert, take home a dozen, buy for workplace potlucks or for any occasion. read more

Walked in an up to the cashier. The Cashier was on a tablet never acknowledging I was there. No look up, no hi, nothing. Prints out a receipt while I'm standing right in front of him. Put it's on the table to the left of him. Grabs a box and puts it on the counter still not acknowledging I'm there. I had my card out and everything, so I turned around and walked out. I have never been treated so disrespectfully in any store/ restaurant before. Unfortunately I won't be coming back. Way to get business. SMH read more

We were in the area on vacation and looking for a special treat.  We had not been to Cookie Plug before. The place has an interesting vibe, looks intentionally sketchy on the outside - its part of their theme! We got the sampler of small cookies so that we could taste all of the varieties. I definitely recommend that.  Our favorites were the Firecracker and Snooperdoodle. I liked Purple Haze too, but it is super sweet with white chips in it. The regular size cookies are huge and very filling. I didn't know you could get unbaked dough. Next time I will try that too. read more

Cookies are AMAZING. Chocolate chip is my fav and I crave for them. But only when served warm otherwise it's just a $4 cookie. I think they need to have more than one girl upfront. I was the third person in line and I was in the store for over 20 minutes to buy one cookie LOL. They are also frequently sold out of various flavors, so the last time I visited and waited 20 minutes in line just to get up to the front and find out that they were sold out of chocolate chip cookies. Really cool atmosphere and huge cookies! It's best to go when they have the deals. Just checkout their menu online before hand so you're not overwhelmed with options. Keep in mind that since these are huge cookies, they will be under-baked. The only exceptions I found to this were the chocolate cookies, which tasted more like brownies. Some were just waaay too under baked for my taste, like the snickerdoodle and funfetti type cookies which were basically raw. Not for me. But that being said, it's cool that there are new businesses like this in the desert. read more

Very exciting for those of you who don't know I'm obsessed with cookies and sweets and determined to try all the best spots before leaving for our set next flight so I get a couple top spots to try out, none to close or to far! I really wanted to like this place!! The concept threw me, I had to double check that they weren't THC cookies before my 12 year old ate them. The cookies themselves were not that great, giant and chewy but lacking in flavor and depth. Just very sweet and did not seem very fresh. I can overlook the decor, and trust me, I am not against marijuana in any way, but if the cookies can't hold up to the hype what's the point. I would never have brought my kids into a marijuana dispensary themed COOKIE shop knowingly, now they're asking too many questions!! I'm glad others love it, support small businesses!! read more

Not only am I a chef, I am a restaurant consultant and help with branding and development. The image and menu for this places screams THC cookies, I don't understand why they're not- the brand fits perfectly for it. After mentally wrestling with the idea that they're not THC friendly, I searched for elements that made Cookie Plug stand out amongst it's harsh and alienating image. Is it LA? I guess, is it going to be received well? Not unless they can back it up. Cookie Plug was mediocre, these flavors are really flat. Like if your best friend brings you homemade cookies, and she ain't the best cook. I tried all the flavors and the only one I wanted to take a second bite of was the peanut butter cookie. Aside from the gimmick appeal of purple drank, wtf does lemonade and cookies have to do with each other? I don't understand. You can easily color milk and milk alternatives too. They had baby bottles on the counter with a cheap sticker, don't tell me yall serve those to grown adults. The little 3x5 menu they put in my bag that looks identical to the dispensary was a nice touch, but this place feels like my high school weed dealer opened a Cookie Store. I just want to take a giant file and round off all these hard edges. I'm giving 3 stars because it's covid and I know businesses are hurting right now- but really this place earns 1.5 because it's too eagerly on the desperate appeal side and it hits hard on tacky.. I came in at 1pm on a Saturday (when they open at noon); absolutely no line and no customers were in the place. I order 24 cookies for $50. Customer service was excellent (they help you right away). Since the place just opened as I walked in, the employees already had a bunch of cookies already made, so they just grabbed the already-made cookies from a big rack. I tried nearly all of their 12 main flavors of cookies. First thing you'll notice: each cookie is super huge (exact size and shape of a hockey puck). For the taste, it was "decent" given the price; I wasn't blown away. If you didn't like the taste of the cookie, then you are kinda stuck eating the whole big cookie. Maybe I should've gotten the tiny cookies instead; there's a sampler item for all of their cookies on the menu. I probably won't go back here again because I've tried so many cookies in my life; this place didn't wow me enough. I should say that I gave out the cookies to a bunch of people; some people loved the cookies, but the majority of people had the same opinion as me. Disclaimer: I had left the cookies out at room temperature for 12 hours before I ate them; their instructions said not to refrigerate them or else cookies lose moisture; but you can freeze them. read more

So, I will admit this place is a bit pricey but these cookies were HUGE! Whoever described them earlier as hockey pucks was right. The chocolate cookies tasted more like cake but for all of the chocolate chip and white chocolate chip cookies cookies. I walked in at 12 when they opened. I bought one of each flavor, 12. Got home tri them out and all but one was a day old. The one that was clearly fresh was the flavor of the day. I called to let them know and they said sorry and that I can put them in the microwave. I won't be going back. read more

My boyfriend got me some cookies one day and I loved all of them! He bought at least one of each flavor for a box of 12. They are bigger cookies and we weren't able to finish them all in one sitting so I froze half in a ziploc bag. This was maybe 3 weeks ago. I took some out today and let them defrost, and I will say they freeze really well!! I'm so happy. Will definitely be purchasing more for future cravings! read more
