People complain they are expensive but they are 3 or 4 times as big as let's say a Mrs. Fields cookie. That makes them inexpensive. They are fresh and tasty. 5 bucks and they are large. One cookie is enough for two people. Did I say fresh? read more

Went here expecting something totally different than what we got. Cookies are decent sized, but dry, flavorless and $$$$. Gangster/tagger themed cookie shop?? WTF? That was a first (and last). Music was so loud that we had to shout our order to the staff who were literally 1ft away and they still couldn't hear us. Overall, it wasn't worth it. read more

Order them, order all of them. I don't write reviews that frequently anymore. Thank you to the people who have made these cookies possible. You have pulled me out of my pandemic slump. You have made something so amazingly delicious. So unbelievably perfect. Something that, in all of my travels, I have truly never experienced in such blissful perfection. It's better than milk bar and Diddy Riese. If I could invest in this company I would. Honestly, someone contact me, everyone should know the glory of these cookies. read more

I'm reviewing the keto cookies. They are delicious, but with keto cookies they have the problem of being dense. That being said they are the best I've had so far. I loved the peanut butter chocolate chip ones, but the chocolate was too much chocolate for me lol. Not bad, but not good for me. My husband loved them and my kids loved certain ones. read more

The first review of this place must be a worker or friend or something cause this place is gross , not only is it a complete eye sore for Bermuda dunes it's unsanitary hair hair hair hair . This is a retirement golf area we don't need LA influence here! read more

Whoever came up with this idea is a genius. The thought to combine cookies and Rap is authentic and really a culture in itself. The location is cute, the mugshots are cute and offers photo op. Customer service was 5/5, greeted upon entering. Taking the time to ask if it was our first time and open to making recommendations. This is always a plus for me. The cookie display is as nice. They have a sample of each flavor on display, so what you see is what you can expect. Ok, so if you made this far... thank you! Haha the actual cookie is good. It's not as sweet as I imagined it to be. My husband and I ordered the Plug Poppers! It's 12 MINI PHATTIES (cookies) - ONE OF EACH FLAVOR! We paid $10, I think. The texture of the chocolate chip cookie was my favorite. I love crispy outsides and a chewy soft center. The rest of the cookies were good, but the chocolate chip cookie was delicious. I tired the purple milk, it really wasn't for me. I had a sip and had it throw it out. I'm not sure if it was the food coloring flavor, maybe the plastic container, or maybe it really is just me ‍ I wouldn't make a trip just to stop by, but if I'm in the neighborhood I would definitely stop by and support the business. read more

Wow this place is amazing. Walked in felt welcomed. Cookies are so big and delicious. First time there and i am definately going back. Vanessa was incredible. Loved her atittude. If you have ever thought to yourself I wish there was a place that pays homage to Hip-Hop Legends, a place where You can nod your head to the hypnotic beats of so-cal legends while enjoying a delicious, warm, homemade cookie roughly the size of a hockey puck, then this the place of your wildest dreams. The cookies are dank, the atmosphere is dope, the service is fantastic! Also the genius in serving Purple Drank (lemonade) to help break up the richness of the cookies, Well played! First of all Avalon (et al single star-ers), how dare you. Secondly, how dare you. Cookie is art in my book and I've spent way too much on way too many. Iv'e been to other cookie plug locations before and loooove the cookies and drinks. This however was my first time at this location and, as expected the cookies were amazing. One thing I didn't expect was the great customer service I received. It's one things to get a great product, but to walk out with a smile from the interaction you just had just really seals the deal. Upon entering this location I was immediately turned OFF! I am not exactly sure what the vibe is supposed to be but it is definitely not a family friendly atmosphere in my opinion. I even saw a very large cookie that said something like "Happy F@#king Birthday" (said the unedited version) - needless to say, I was appalled! The young lady employee was very much less than enthused and none of the cookies looked worth trying. Let's just say there is literally no comparison between this place and the other cookie chain known as "crumbl", which is truly OUTSTANDING in every way - again, just my opinion read more

Just ok. Not a great experience. Walked in, loud music, no one around. Waited and waited and waited. Lacking customer service is an understatement. Cookies are overpriced at $4/each. The place was really unique, cool vibe, original concept. The cookies were good, but nothing too special. And 4 bucks a cookie seemed a bit steep for what it was. Maybe worth checking out, but I will probably check out some other dessert options before going back. read more

I'm in trouble. These cookies are too good and I'm hooked! At $5 a pop (or should I say "plug"), they aren't cheap but they are HUGE so they can be shared (but you might not want to share after you've enjoyed your first bite). Tried the OG chocolate chip and chocolate chip with walnuts...awesome! Tried another one that had Oreos mixed in and that was great too. Lots of interesting flavors to choose from. These thick round mounds of yum were soft but not too gooey. Wish I bought more because I'm now out and the closest store to home is probably 30 miles away (with gas now over $6/gallon, it will cost me about $20 just to get to the store and back but it might be worth it)! I guess you can buy the dough and cook at home too. Maybe text time when I buy a truck load and freeze some for later. read more

I am sad to say that my cookies were really hard. I'm from Arizona and visiting, I found this company on DoorDash and was excited to try it. Arizona has Twisted Sugar and Cookie Crumble so I wanted to see how they compare. I was surprised that they were bricks. My sister who is a local told me that they are usually not like that and to not judge off of this experience, but I just can't get over the fact that I spend over 20$ for hard cookies! read more

This place looks like a dispensary and they serve up huge and delicious cookies. I preordered online and when we showed up our order was ready. It's a great treat to bring over to a friends house and the cookies are big enough to cut and share. The only cookie I didn't love was the keto cookie, I had that cool/ yet dry taste that keto baked goodies have sometimes. Everything else was delicious. I was not offered purple drank but would love to try it next time. read more

After seeing billboards in Calimesa for this place I ended up looking up what this place was on Yelp and was pleasantly surprised to see it was a craft cookie business. Naturally I thought they would be closed already since it was night time but they are open late. Came here and got 4 cookies. Customer service was great. The young man who helped us was very friendly and willing to give us tips. We ended up with a Nutty OG, Chocolate Macadamia Nut, Triple Chocolate, and the OG. For the 4 cookies it was 14 dollars so it's a bit pricey but the cookies are the size of like 4 normal size cookies so hence the price. The cookies were fantastic. We put them microwave for 30 seconds to warm them up but they are willing to warm them up for you. This place is definitely a cool spot. The theme of the place is a tribute to rappers. Very cool spot. Definitely will be back for their cookie ice cream sandwiches. read more

Cookies were a little underwhelming. The slim shady m+m cookie in particular. The cookies n crème cookie was pretty solid but overall I was underwhelmed. I really like the attention to detail of everything else about the store though. read more

I had high hopes for this place, but honestly the cookies are way too thick, they lack flavor, and are pretty hard. Very underwhelmed.

Let me start off with saying that this is a place that the Valley desperately was in need of. It seems anytime a "trendy-seeming" company decides to branch in the desert there always seems to be some sort of backlash/resentment from the residents which is funny asl lmfao, these dusty oldheads saying "we don't need your LA influence here! this is a retirement golf area!" got me dying. It's a cookie place for f***'s sake!!! Okay rant over, now onto The Cookie Plug; sporting a youthful storefront that neighbors other chains like Subway and Carl's Jr. The Cookie Plug manages to differentiate itself from it's next-door's by having an endearing energy surrounding it. Now what does that mean? That means a lively atmosphere on the inside playing loud modern day music (and it's not some uber-terrible radio mainstream Spotify Playlist on repeat), young and energetic workers pumping out fresh-out-the-oven cookies, and an interior design that is reminiscent of that "LA influence", which is a breath of fresh air out here in this boring-boring desert! I went on opening day and the hype surrounding this opening created a line that curved way out the door out into the shopping plaza. I purchased the "Fat Sack" which consisted of 12 "phatties", and after waiting nearly an hour of just standing in line, my impatience mixed with the hunger and had created an unrealistic expectations for these cookies. The "Fat Sack" comes with Purple Drank which is just lemonade, but... purple... and it comes in a double Styrofoam cup lol... Kinda tacky, but acceptable depending on how the food is! The choice of lemonade and cookies together is odd and weird to really think about, but the acidity of the lemonade kinda "shocks" your tastebuds and acts as a palette-cleanser. I would love for them to offer a creamy alternative, milk and non-dairy (oat milk please!) because that is a natural combination with warm fresh crumbly cookies and would really just complete the whole cookie experience. Now onto the cookies, I got a few different options to fill up the box of 12. The ones I tried were: - OG - Purple Haze - Pixie Junkie - Fire Cracker - The Mac Daddy - Chocolate XTC All the cookies come in a super thick "hockey puck" style shape that really allows for the baked exterior to offer a slight crunch that perfectly contrasts from the soft sticky ooey-gooey insides of the cookie. That foundation of the cookie never changes, and I'm glad it doesn't because this style of cookie is now my favorite, and it takes maybe just 1/2 the cookie to satiate your cookie cravings, even 1/2 a cookie is a lot! The only changes in the cookies that occur are the different flavors, for the sake of the length of the review I will simply rank the ones I tried. #1: OG: ah the chocolate chip cookie, the benchmark of every cookie shop. and this cookie shop passes with flying vibrant colors! #2: Purple Haze: this one was very intriguing when I looked over their menu, and after tasting the cookie it has landed itself as my number two cookie #3: The Mac Daddy: I like macadamia cookies and The Cookie Plug has done a good job with theirs #4: Chocolate XTC: when I was eating the "Chocolate XTC" which is triple chocolate all I was thinking was "hmm I should've gone with more OG cookies instead" #5: Pixie Junkie - if you like those donuts covered in sprinkles you will like this cookie, this one was by far my least favorite because I don't like sprinkles lol #6: Fire Cracker - Ranked below Pixie Junkie because it's called "smore" but really its all just an OG cookie with a dimple on top and marshmallows baked into it, would've ranked it higher if it had marshmallows baked into the cookie itself. I wouldn't wait an hour for these cookies again, it's just not worth the hour wait and that "hype" made me have too high expectations. But nonetheless, at the end of the day it is simply a cookie shop and they can't make you taste magic, but they surely do put an effort to making sure that you can taste the next closest thing to it with their cookies. I warmly welcome them to the Valley and will exclusively be going here whenever I have a cookie craving! read more

Not that great ! Overpriced and honestly you can get a better Cookie next door at Subway two thumbs down for this place

Received crumbled, dry and squished cookies. Only thing I liked was the cool box that the cookies arrived in. Very disappointed and a waste of money. Even my kids didn't approve. Also contacted the company about the issue and never received a response. So, I'm leaving a review to help other customers not fall for the hype seen on social media. read more

So yummy!!! Cookies are so good and huge. They have Leto options too and they also taste great

Thought I had returned to the 70's. A few cookies (actual cookies, not replicas) lined up on the countertop. Tell the clerk which one(s) you want. Clerk takes cookie(s) off a covered rack behind the counter. Out the door you go. What is going on behind that dark wall? Why is it so dark in the shop? Shouldn't a cookie bakery be bright and cheerful? Almost did not purchase but bought one cookie so I could say I tried one. It was fair to good. Yes, they are big. $5 for a cookie is the going rate it seems. Have not returned. read more

I had never had a chance to try this place so I went in tonight to try one and get one for my neighbor. I ask the guy working if he would put each cookie in a separate bag because they were going different places. He said yes but I have to charge you a dollar for another baggie. I'm sorry but that's ridiculous... I told him to keep his cookies. That's not how you get or keep customers. Obviously never going back there. read more

My honest opinion. Over priced for the quality. 3/5 stars here. I may have ordered with high expectations which may have been my own fault. The flavors they offer sound amazing, unfortunately, the quality of the cookie is lackluster, as such, the flavors fail as well. I was anticipating a warm soft cookie that taste just a good if not better than homemade cookies. But, I think I'll stick to making my own at home or just getting some from Subway. read more
