At $5 a pop (or should I say "plug"), they aren't cheap but they are HUGE so they can be shared (but you might not want to share after you've enjoyed your first bite). Tried the OG chocolate chip and chocolate chip with walnuts...awesome! Tried another one that had Oreos mixed in and that was great too. Lots of interesting flavors to choose from. These thick round mounds of yum were soft but not too gooey. Wish I bought more because I'm now out and the closest store to home is probably 30 miles away (with gas now over $6/gallon, it will cost me about $20 just to get to the store and back but it might be worth it)! Naturally I thought they would be closed already since it was night time but they are open late. Came here and got 4 cookies. Customer service was great. The young man who helped us was very friendly and willing to give us tips. We ended up with a Nutty OG, Chocolate Macadamia Nut, Triple Chocolate, and the OG. For the 4 cookies it was 14 dollars so it's a bit pricey but the cookies are the size of like 4 normal size cookies so hence the price. The cookies were fantastic. We put them microwave for 30 seconds to warm them up but they are willing to warm them up for you. This place is definitely a cool spot. The theme of the place is a tribute to rappers. Let me start off with saying that this is a place that the Valley desperately was in need of. It seems anytime a "trendy-seeming" company decides to branch in the desert there always seems to be some sort of backlash/resentment from the residents which is funny asl lmfao, these dusty oldheads saying "we don't need your LA influence here! this is a retirement golf area!" got me dying. It's a cookie place for f***'s sake!!! Okay rant over, now onto The Cookie Plug; sporting a youthful storefront that neighbors other chains like Subway and Carl's Jr. The Cookie Plug manages to differentiate itself from it's next-door's by having an endearing energy surrounding it. Now what does that mean? That means a lively atmosphere on the inside playing loud modern day music (and it's not some uber-terrible radio mainstream Spotify Playlist on repeat), young and energetic workers pumping out fresh-out-the-oven cookies, and an interior design that is reminiscent of that "LA influence", which is a breath of fresh air out here in this boring-boring desert! I went on opening day and the hype surrounding this opening created a line that curved way out the door out into the shopping plaza. I purchased the "Fat Sack" which consisted of 12 "phatties", and after waiting nearly an hour of just standing in line, my impatience mixed with the hunger and had created an unrealistic expectations for these cookies. The "Fat Sack" comes with Purple Drank which is just lemonade, but... purple... and it comes in a double Styrofoam cup lol... Kinda tacky, but acceptable depending on how the food is! The choice of lemonade and cookies together is odd and weird to really think about, but the acidity of the lemonade kinda "shocks" your tastebuds and acts as a palette-cleanser. I would love for them to offer a creamy alternative, milk and non-dairy (oat milk please!) because that is a natural combination with warm fresh crumbly cookies and would really just complete the whole cookie experience. Now onto the cookies, I got a few different options to fill up the box of 12. The ones I tried were: - OG - Purple Haze - Pixie Junkie - Fire Cracker - The Mac Daddy - Chocolate XTC All the cookies come in a super thick "hockey puck" style shape that really allows for the baked exterior to offer a slight crunch that perfectly contrasts from the soft sticky ooey-gooey insides of the cookie. That foundation of the cookie never changes, and I'm glad it doesn't because this style of cookie is now my favorite, and it takes maybe just 1/2 the cookie to satiate your cookie cravings, even 1/2 a cookie is a lot! The only changes in the cookies that occur are the different flavors, for the sake of the length of the review I will simply rank the ones I tried. #1: OG: ah the chocolate chip cookie, the benchmark of every cookie shop. and this cookie shop passes with flying vibrant colors! #2: Purple Haze: this one was very intriguing when I looked over their menu, and after tasting the cookie it has landed itself as my number two cookie #3: The Mac Daddy: I like macadamia cookies and The Cookie Plug has done a good job with theirs #4: Chocolate XTC: when I was eating the "Chocolate XTC" which is triple chocolate all I was thinking was "hmm I should've gone with more OG cookies instead" #5: Pixie Junkie - if you like those donuts covered in sprinkles you will like this cookie, this one was by far my least favorite because I don't like sprinkles lol #6: Fire Cracker - Ranked below Pixie Junkie because it's called "smore" but really its all just an OG cookie with a dimple on top and marshmallows baked into it, would've ranked it higher if it had marshmallows baked into the cookie itself. I wouldn't wait an hour for these cookies again, it's just not worth the hour wait and that "hype" made me have too high expectations. But nonetheless, at the end of the day it is simply a cookie shop and they can't make you taste magic, but they surely do put an effort to making sure that you can taste the next closest thing to it with their cookies. I warmly welcome them to the Valley and will exclusively be going here whenever I have a cookie craving! read more

I live out of town and Usually go to cookie plug in upland but I was visiting friends and went to the Bermuda location, it was at least 93 degrees with no type of air circulation with a broken ac and a fan that barely blows any air out of it and the air that does come out is hot.
