I never had to check my food before but this time I should have when I got to my destination I was missing hummus and they cut my sweet potatoe so thin I couldn't understand why a $17 bowl was being skimped like this. Love that there's this delicious and healthy option in the area! It's never been in my radar despite living not too far away. The flavors of the different ingredients definitely felt unique, but never overpowering--especially in the build your own salad bowl. Overall the prices are decent, though I do feel like the portions were a bit small. The veggie burger CCB burger was a bit underwhelming, not my personal favorite but that may be just me. The quinoa salad was pretty solid and I do enjoy the sauces that he dishes come with (subtle but adds to the dishes). I met up with a friend at nearby Cunningham Park and we decided to get something healthy nearby - we both knew this place. She picked up food a few times here and I knew them from their generosity to the Yelp Community from a couple of events. My friend got a smoothie along with a bowl. The Crystal Klean is made up of Banana, Dates, Spinach, Almond Milk, Almond Butter, Plant-Based Vanilla Protein, Sea Moss and trying a sip it was absolutely delicious. I went for a Veggie Bowl which had Brown Rice/ Greens/ Mushroom/ Brussels/ Kale/ Kale Pesto & Klean Green Sauce/ Shepherd Salad/ Charred Corn & Onion Crisps with no subs and the Klean Green sauce on the side. It had a filling mix and I didnt miss adding an additional protein. The order took a bit waiting in person so I recommend their website to order ahead so you can swoop in and pick up your completed order. Operations here are super friendly and efficient. I love the jerk bbq sauce/klean sauce that comes with the chicken bowl as well as the roasted plantains which is my favorite part. The jerk bbq sauce is not spicy what so ever so don't be afraid to order that if you don't do spice. The salmon pita is a bit on the small side for me but I love the tanginess from the pickled red onions. It was nearly a year since I've had Cooked Klean so I was excited to go back today for lunch. I got the salmon with quinoa and white rice, as well as a berry and ginger juice. While the portion of salmon was a bit small for my taste, it was cooked just right and was absolutely delicious. I like how the selections if you pick 3 difference sauces we only got 1 and one of the choices I chose was on the side...but that shouldn't be in the "Sauce" options... I love this place but unfortunately the service is terrible. They let one person drown with all these orders creating a huge back up at the front house. This makes me not want to order from here because I legit have waited over an hour for an order that I placed for pick up. One person should be taking online orders and phone orders while the other is taking care of people coming in at the store. I used to love Cooked Klein but the quality and portion size of their food has changed. I order via Uber Eats this past Friday for 9 pieces of their naked wings and a Children cheeseburger. The wings were dry and burnt and the cheeseburger bun was burnt. However they added two cookies with my delivery I'm guessing to make up for this. My first time ordering from this place and I was surprised how well packaged the food was and the Jerk Salmon tacos was delicious. It should be noted that it was not spicy but it was still very tasty. The Red Dragon juice was also very good. I took off one star because the menu clearly stated that the tacos included mango salsa and diced sweet plantains and I didn't see any. Maybe they ran out or changed the recipe? However the corn tortillas and the red cabbage with the Jerk BBQ sauce covered salmon was still a winning combination. Catered lunch for 40 people to bring to a picnic area. First time using Cooked Klean which was recommended to me by a friend. The food was delicious. Everyone liked everything they tried. We went full vegetarian because we had a few vegetarians that never get to try everything at buffets and have choose mostly from the side dishes. We had Thai basil "chicken" sandwiches, bbq oyster mushroom sandwiches, and crispy eggplant sandwiches. For sides we chose quinoa and Cucumber, potato salad and 2 different green salads. Kevin and Crystal helped us with the selections and recommendations to provide a balanced meal that would satisfy a crowd.
