Not having Cook Out in my hometown, I'd never gotten to try it, but now I will look for this whenever I travel! Good portions for a great price. Make sure to upgrade the tray meal drink to a milkshake--worth the extra $1 and lots of delicious flavors to choose from. I got the double burger and it was fabulous. I thought the portions for the hush puppies and onion rings were a bit small compared to the fries so I would get fries next time if I was hungry. We went through to get dinner and ordered 6 meals and when we got to the window and asked for sauces she gave us 3. We asked for more and proceeded to call us names and have an attitude. They also had forgot our straws and the inside was closed so we went to the door to ask for more because another lady was having issues with her food and was standing there as well. When she came I asked her for the straws and sauces and she never came. I watched her go away to do something else. So we had to go through the line again. My group of 12 all had the same sentiment: great! The food was very tasty and plentiful! We had excellent service. When ordering for 12 people we expect some confusion, but the team got it all perfectly right. The milk shakes were wonderful and the variety substantial! The food is ok (they kept burning my hot dogs...) I've only gotten hot dogs from here whenever I've craved it which was like twice now they have forgotten the ketchup twice already so before u drive off u should ask for some, their milkshake is more of an ice cream consistency but it tastes great and lasts long! Only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is because of that incident with the ketchup being left out completely but also due to the religious aspect of this place... they put religion into every single product like on my bag there was a psalm thing and then on my milkshake container too which is kinda annoying because I don't want to experience your cult... now that I know their cult status it makes me nervous to go back considering I am part of the lgbtq community and know how crazy these cult people get. So wanted to like the place, can't see how it has lasted so long in Williamsburg with so many other great choices to eat. Ordered two quesadillas with chicken, two sides (coleslaw and hushpuppies) and a chocolate chip mint shake. The quesadillas cheese was not melted, they were the size of a smartphone and the chicken was unidentifiable. The hushpuppies were good, coleslaw was the size of a bottle cap. Tall thin bleach blonde gentleman really made my first experience trying Cookout special! I was very warmly welcomed and he helped guide me through the menu and also made suggestions! I usually feel uncomfortable trying new places so I'm thankful for his positive attitude and welcoming nature. I was surprised at how thick the burger was! I also tried the watermelon shake which had real chunks of watermelon! Absolutely no complaints with the price and the restaurant, although very crowded, was very clean and nice looking. I'll definitely come back and dine at Cook Out again. The only negative thing I found with this place is their use of styrofoam. It's bad for the planet and not really necessary. I've been to Cookout many times in Vegas. It's really good. I was so excited we have one in my new home of Williamsburg. Big time disappointment. Lobby was "closed" but no signs indicating that. People would go up (including us) and then make their way back to their cars and hit the drive thru. Drive thru worker was very abrupt on the speaker and didn't repeat my order back to me. Got 4 out of 5 items correct on the receipt and then 3 out of 5 correct in the bag itself. Literally the only thing he said to me at the window was my total. No greeting, nothing. Handed me the bag of food and two shakes and shut the window. Felt like I was in a bad sketch comedy. The food was not that great but not absolutely awful. I enjoyed this restaurant, it seems to cater to college students who are recovering from hangovers after big frat parties. Probably the one thing that really made the trip worthwhile was the price. Myself and two of my friends got three meals for just $18. The food was fairly tasty. I had a bacon cheeseburger with fries and hushpuppies. I did not know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised with what I received. So, as soon as I entered I knew I was at a fast food establishment. The menu is not complicated, and meals are comparable to other fast food burger places (except five guys). I ordered the Big Double tray (combo) with bacon. It comes with 2 sides so I opted for fries and chicken nuggets. I still did not know what to expect. On a side note, I was told I get any condiments on the burger that I wanted, but see that the tomato was $0.10. I may have missed it on the menu, but did not know it was an added charge. All in I spent $5.84 + tax, so not breaking the bank. Digging in I started with the fries. Fresh and well salted. Not too crunchy, but not over saturated with oil (mushy). Halfway through I located my nuggets (3), and was not impressed. They were reminiscent of the old pink slim, possibly chicken flavored, nuggets of the 80's. Lastly, the Big Double with bacon was comparable to a double hamburger with bacon from McD's. However, I felt the flavor was better, meaning there was actually flavor. Also, it was well put together. My condiments (ketchup, mustard, lettuce and tomato) were well balanced for the small burger. More than a baby squirt of ketchup and mustard, and not overwhelmed with the lettuce or tomato. Overall, I am an average sized mid-30's guy, and got enough food for less than $7. Note: I am old and have a shrinking appetite. If your young, you may need more, but the value at Cook Out wont break you. If I lived around the area I would definitely return to try out other items on the menu. read more

But the customer service was way off. 1st I am severely allergic to tomatoes so I ordered a burger without of course. But I had a tomato on my burger once I looked at it. My aunt ordered a double burger, received a single, and my Dad ordered a A1 double burger that turned out to be a regular burger no A1.
