Dominion Dogs Hot Dogs Cold Beer

Another fun and "low-key" romantic Valentine's Day dinner!…read more Food, service and atmosphere were perfect and fun! Love that we got to do this again and appreciate the whole evening! I even stepped outside of my plain hot dog and got the Carolina dog with pulled pork, bbq sauce and coleslaw' so yummy! Also tried the pickle fries for the first time and they were delicious! Dominion Dogs never disappoints!

So a few friends and I swung by this evening for a quick bite. This review is a sort of almost a…read morehome run.. Our group ordered an American dog, two coneys, and a burnt ends dog. They also came with fries or onion rings, funnel cake fries, and a drink of your choice. Two of the guys had the root beer and said it was pretty good. Now as for the dogs, the two guys that had the coneys were happy with them, although one was hoping for a little more spice from the chili, but it was by no means bad. The burnt ends dog was said to be pretty freaking good. As for the American dog, we'll that was a different story. It wasn't a bad dog, but it tasted like it had been boil cooked and not cooked on the griddle. Additionally, it wasn't really that warm. I guess warm is a good description for it. It would have been better if it was hot and you could see some cooking marks on it. Alas, it was and had neither. But again, it wasn't a bad dog, but it could have been much better. The onion rings were pretty tasty though, as were the funnel cake fries and crinkle cut fries. This night was Wednesday, so it was trivia night. At 6:30. At about 6:00 people really started to come in, and by 6:30, the place was packed. Guess trivia night is a big hit... The people working there were super friendly and you fealt as if they were happy to be there. I would have given it 5 stars, but tbe warm dog just brought my experience down a bit. But don't let that stop you from going there, because you'll probably have a good time with good food and good people.

Man... this place rocks. Seriously... we're not even close to the area and we've visited nearly…read moreevery time we've been in the Burg. I don't know what the difference is between this Rick's and the other ones, but this one feels the most authentic and just what a cheese steak should be. The seasoning is simple, nothing overpowering. The bread could use more toasting, but it compliments the meat seasoning very well. When it comes to Cheese Steaks, it doesn't get more authentic and true to taste than this. I like the fact that they also have some great chicken cheese steaks (the fam isn't a fan of straight steak) with the same level of attention to detail as the original. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you're in the area. it's a big, big, win. Food Taste: 5 Overall Service: 5 Value of service to cost: 5 Facility: 5 Ambiance: The inside is very simple. Nothing crazy other than a decent place to sit and eat. Repeat customer: yes Dog Friendly: patio

Pretty solid Philly cheesesteak shop! The Philly cheese steak was nice and cheesy. The bread was…read moresoft, personally wish it was a little more sauced up. The onion rings were nice and crispy! The Philly egg rolls were tasty, but I wish there was more cheese. But it had a good crisp. We got the buffalo garlic sauce, which tasted very much like pure buffalo sauce. So if you like buffalo, it's a good choice. The inside had graffiti on the walls and felt very urban, giving the city vibe. The service was nice and fast. There is plentiful outdoor seating as well! Thank you for the food as we travel from Hampton Roads to Northern Virginia!

Came here from out of town. Never had Hardee's before my visit and I will say I'm impressed. Think…read moreof Burger King but way better. Burgers are good and they have some of the best fries ever. The interior was clean as well. Service was top tear. Great milkshakes too.

Was looking for a quick lunch while traveling between Virginia Beach and Lake Anna…read more Quality of food was okay. (2/5). My husband and I each got one of their special meal deals -- $5.99 each for a double cheeseburger (husband), loaded jumbo hot dog (me), crinkle fries, and small fountain sodas. The double burger was disappointing. While the bun was tasty, and it was served hot, the burgers tasted like frozen burgers, were relatively small, and were served "plain" -- without lettuce, tomatoes, or any other add-ons. The hot dog was tasty, served with chili, mustard, and raw onions though the mustard was a bit heavy for my taste. Crinkle fries tasted fresh, and were hot, but a bit over-salted. Our go-to fountain drinks were Diet Dr. Pepper, but they tasted watered down. Value (5/5). We received a good amount of food for under $7 each (with taxes), a reasonable price in this inflationary period. Staff/service (5/5). Staff were excellent. We were waited on promptly and politely. Ambiance. (5/5). Fine for a fast food restaurant. Clean. Almost no additional patrons when we were there. Location off I-64. Easy enough to find and to park, but you so need to drive a few miles off the highway.
