    Regular burger and fries.

Not bad but it's hit or miss. When the food is hot it is really good, but I would suggest getting the Cajun fries over the regular fries.

This place needs to be ashamed of themselves. Visited this location on 11/13 for lunch and got burnt up (inedible mess). Ordered the the Regular Tray and everything was burnt when I got home. The burger was so small the size of a small burger and burnt so hard to the point I couldn't even bite into it. The hush puppies were are burnt. The cheese bites were fried so hard I couldn't even bite into it. This was absolutely ridiculous and a waste of time & money. Whoever cooked this food and even served it should e fired and ashamed of themselves. I will never go to this place again.

I was trying to decide between Chick-fil-A and cookout. I passed cook out first so I decided to stop here instead. I went through the drive through to place my order. The young lady taking my order kept ignoring everything I asked for and was rushing through my order. She didn't read back my order or give me a total. When I arrived to the window I see a beautiful young lady with red faux locs. The receipt said Brianna was her name but I'm not sure because it was oddly two girls at the window. Unfortunately, she had a very bad attitude and kept slamming the drive through window. I had to request my receipt, which was incorrect. When I received my food, it was incorrect from the incorrect receipt too. Lol when I told the young lady at the drive through she got an attitude and took my sandwich back only to add some dry bacon on top and the sandwich was still wrong. They then took it back to add cheese, I said may I please have a fresh sandwich this time since it's going back a second time. The third time the sandwich was STILL incorrect! I just took the sandwich as is and left because at this point I was just over it. I should of just took my self to Chick-fil-A. I should have known better. Never again! SMH

Just plain disgusting. Burnt hotdogs, soggy bread. Cold chili. Just plain horrible.

Burger with bread tie on top for better view

Upon opening my burger I noticed what seemed to be bad lettuce. I later realized it was a twist tie. On top of the inedible fries and lack of professionalism from the staff.

Cookout is known for its charcoal grilled food. I love the fact that it's like eating food fresh off the grill out of your own back yard. My only ask is for fresher ingredients. The buns are often stale and the burgers taste frozen. The prices are great! They recently raised the prices, but it's still a good deal. You can get a meal with a drink for about $5. Parking is good. Plenty of spaces. Drive thru moves quickly. Friendly staff.

    The food so was good!!!

Omg Best cajun chicken sandwich I ever had. My first time coming to the cook out. I came with a few friends. I did the Cajun style chicken plate and my friends had the spicy chicken plate. The food you have is to feed two people seriously you get choices of picking whatever you want in three section the main meal the sides yes the SIDES and a drink, sides are two different things you can get a wrap and fries. I forgot to take pictures of the menu I couldn't wait to eat my friends was bragging about this place for months and I never tried it until yesterday so anytime I pass a cook out I'm definitely stopping in! The cashier was friendly as well and the place was clean parking was not a problem. They have their own private parking lot.

So...we went to Cook Out last night after a long day of playing basketball at a tournament (my cousin not me...however, it was a long day of spectating). Anyway, I've lived here a while and Cook Out is no longer new but I had never tried it. I heard the milkshakes were bomb but still didn't go because I really didn't eat anything else they served. Again, some of this review will be from the tastebuds of family since I'm not a meat eater. Both my Grandma and uncle had a burger with the works and although they were hungry they said the burger was burnt. Well, in true cook out form there's always a burnt burger or two in the mix (I guess they got them both). My grandma also added that they are skimpy on the bacon...hmmm. As for the shakes, I ordered a snickers shake (I think it was thick and not really a shake but it gives the blizzard and the McFlurry a run for their money)...I am not mad at the chunks of snickers. My uncle got a blueberry shake...he said it had real blueberries that he could chew. My little cousin went for what he knew an Oreo shake. He liked it and I heard no complaints. The cashier was really nice and didn't mind sharing his thoughts on the shakes, he also took his time to explain what came on the burgers. You don't get many people who are willing to take the time and explain things without and attitude. We rated this place a three because although the service and shakes were good the food was just "what it was". I would go back for the shakes but probably not frequently because it wasn't memorable....just "what it was"

The Red Eyed Mule has been consistently recommended as a top-tier place to get a biscuit in the greater Atlanta area, so I figured I'd finally give it a go. I got the spicy chicken biscuit, along with another biscuit on the side with some cheesy scrambled eggs and a side of country sausage to build my own SEC biscuit. First of all, the biscuits are HUGE. They're the ultra-soft, buttery, pull-apart-but-not-in-a-flaky-way type biscuits, which I enjoy. The spicy fried chicken was good on its own, but nothing outstanding. The country sausage was good, too. Don't get me wrong--I liked everything I tried. That being said, I didn't find them to be anything that had a "wow" factor, so I am glad I ended up trying multiple items just in case I was underwhelmed. I overheard a local in line talking about their corned beef hash, which he said was not your typical dish straight out of a can and onto the flat top, which, for the record, I have no problem with. But man am I glad I gave it a go. The corned beef comes in large chunks of shredded pieces, clearly taken from a big corned beef brisket and then mixed in and cooked with small diced potatoes. This was my favorite dish, by far. I'd come back just for that. I also tried their cheese grits, which was better than usual at a diner style restaurant. The customer service was awesome, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere in general. Worth noting it backs up quickly. I got there at 9:02, 2 minutes after they opened, and there was already a line at the door. I'll be back with friends for a dish of corned beef hash and grits, and I'll probably get a biscuit on the side just to enjoy on its own or with butter and jam.

It's located in a shopping center (there's a racetrac sharing the area as well) but it's easy to find with the standout signage. The waiting area has all sorts of license plates, merch, an area for local businesses to leave cards and kinda gives you a colorful glimpse into the restaurant itself. We were seated in the Front Yard and my kiddos immediately fell in love with the vibrant colors of the decor, the bus that they could see which is located behind the bar area, and they each got a pack of wikki stixs that kept them occupied throughout our time at the table. The decor makes the space super fun, there are plenty do tvs around, and this was just a really family friendly place. Our waiter was attentive and took great care of us. While I was stuck between getting the MMY Patty Melt, I decided to go with the Totally Tubular Turkey Club. My husband got the Buckin' Buffalo, one kiddo opted for a cheeseburger and the other kiddo wanted chicken tenders. It took about 15 mins for the food to come and when it did it looked sooooo delicious. My club was fresh and tasted really good. Bacon, turkey, white American cheese, lettuce, tomato and I guess their house sauce all on sourdough. I loved it and I opted for onion rings instead of tots or fries because I really wanted some and really enjoyed them. The onion rings were not greasy and tasty so good. Everyone enjoyed their food (the kiddos mentioned their fries being a bit salty and after I tried one I agreed) but we were near the pinball room soooo after they finished they were asking if they could go okay games. Before we left the table, I got a cookies n cream milkshake which was sooooo good and came with whipped cream, Oreo crumbles on top and gummy worms. Unfortunately, as someone who has eaten burgers all over the world the Trucker Burger was disappointing on many levels. First of all, it felt like a misleading description to describe the burger as having two "smash patties". These were definitely not smash patties under the traditional definition in my opinion. The bun was good, but the burger patties themselves were far too plump, lacked bounce, had no caramelization in the edges and were not juicy on the inside. It tasted like a burger you'd find at your neighbor's backyard BBQ with a general lack of flavor and course texture like the lean to fat ratio was off and the burger was cooked on too low a temperature. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. Unfortunately, the burger was a let down and extremely overpriced. You're better off going to a fast casual spot like Freddy's where you can get a great smash burger for much less.
