My husband and I have frequented the Pub many times. However, on April 10, the service, food etc. was a complete disaster. The lone waitress had no idea what she was doing. It took 15 minutes to just get a menu and one hour-15 min. to get the food. My husband went up to the counter to pay the bill and was given the wrong bill. He pointed this out and was then given our bill. The next day I checked our bank credit card and saw we were charged for both bills. We called and talked to the manager/owner? the next day and was told he would put a credit in immediately. Now, 5 days later no credit has arrived and after 4 tries today, no one is answering the phone. read more

Fun, good food and great staff! We stopped at the pub late on Friday night in the middle of a 24-hour bike ride. They graciously made us food after the kitchen was likely closed. Owners are horrible people. Shutting down the whole bar "closing permanently" and sending their employees a text saying "don't come back." Then opening a few days later with a new staff? They give their employees raises then find a reason to fire them after not wanting to pay. Constantly rotating through staff just to avoid giving good workers raises. How this place has such a great reputation is beyond me. The food is generic bar food on the best day. The only reason I can see why people keep showing up here is likely the bar. And it's a s-hole. I think they survive nearly die to geography. They're the only hot, non-gas station food joint for about ten miles in any direction. This place sure has taken a major downhill dive. I've been a regular over the years, but this was my first time this year. Used to be lively, fun, with a very diverse clientele and good pub food, with an emphasis on oysters. Went there yesterday, a sunny summer afternoon. The place was pretty empty initially, but filled up a little by the time we left. The vibe was gone. The tables were filthy. The food was barely edible, especially the oyster dishes. The "service" consisted of a single waitress for both inside and out! She was literally running all the time and did an amazing job considering the lack of staff. Apparently the management (or should we say mismanagement) has changed, such that the place is simply no longer worth going to. Sad to see such a great local institution bite the dust. Quite disappointed with this place and the "new" management. Used to be a local favorite- not anymore! Had 2 orders of fish and chips and 2 sodas for $60! Tarter sauce has way too much vinegar! Better fix this right away. Soggy coleslaw - no Bueno Printed xeroxed menu does not state very well that anything beyond regular fries is extra - looks like only extra charge is for sweet potato fries. Was not told about extra charge for really bad tarter sauce. Place needs a thorough cleaning - still had same sticky tables. If you are going to charge customers for all these extras - step up to the plate and make it worth while - especially quality wise. Went in for dinner last night and will not be going back. We were charged for drinks that we were never given, my sandwich was missing the bacon and the waitress was no where to be found most of the time. We would have to go up to the bar and interrupt her visiting to get service. Tried to find here to get my sandwich fixed and gave up. When she brought us the check and asked if all was ok, I had only taken a couple of bites, before we could answer she was off to get a container for my 'leftovers'. We had our friend's Birthday dinner last night 3-10-23 it started out bad with the Bartender she totally ignored us, after 20 minutes of her not asking us if we wanted anything to drink I went up to her to ask her for a couple of beers she said just a minute went into the kitchen then came out and put the beers on the table then walked off, Our friends came in and she was just as rude to them the man waiter then came over to us and was really nice! These are without a doubt some of the finest oysters I've ever had anywhere This comparison includes a variety of oysters from the Oyster bar on Chuckanut. These are super cold, firm and meaty. And not stomach meat, actual thick oysters. They are not slimy and served with the perfect balance of cocktail sauce and horseradish with lemon wedge. I can't believe how fresh these are. My bestie and I stopped in here for a quick drink and bite to eat before hitting the Tulip Festival. Free street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Conway Pub is your typical dive bar where locals come to drink and socialize. Several TVs are mounted inside. Tables and chairs are geared towards effectiveness rather than comfort and style. My bestie and I were a bit disappointed to learn that breakfast is only served on Saturday's and Sunday's. So we had to settle on a sandwich at 9:00am instead. We each ordered a Bloody Mary for $6 apiece. Our Mary's were garnished with a plump green olive and a dill pickle spear. We shared the BLT Sandwich for $9.99 + $0.99 up-charge for Jo Jo's. Our sandwich was loaded with flavorful bacon and juicy tomatoes. Our server, Sophie, was friendly and efficient. Been a while since I've been to this place, maybe 4 years ago. It used to service great food. We ordered oysters with onion rings and fish & chips. Oysters with o rings were a little on the burnt side. The fish & chips are not what they used to be, different breading and flavor. Service was average. Signs on the door stated they were looking for kitchen help. And i would agree they need kitchen help, maybe a new cook. No need to go back and wasted $50. read more

What a hidden gem. People may think it's just a dive bar... Kinda dive bar vibe but their foods are excellent. Fresh, tasty and service is fantastic. Polite and attentive for their customers. I had oysters stew. A Ton of oysters,creamy but not too rich. Great comfort stew for cold days.. Bacon burger is a huge portion, fresh veggies and meat was juicy. Done right for meaty burger. Surprisingly Onion rings are also excellent. Thick cut onions and lightly coated crumbs. I will go back to try pan fried oysters and steamed clams next time. This is my second time here, I got to sit inside, which was delightful, because of the cold inclement weather. The service was quick, attentive, and the food was excellent.. They are doing the social distance thing, and cleaning feverishly between customers... They still have outside tents with heaters, to keep you warm... I feel that the prices are fair for what you get very reasonable. All the parking is on the street so sometimes it's challenging to find an ample spot for your vehicle. Today I had the opportunity to patronize this establishment and had the absolute most awful BLT of my life. Bread was not toasted, lettuce was ice burg and over abundant, tomatoes were minimal (If I were to have removed them all and put them together I'd say it was a total of 1/2 a slice of small, we're talking roma small, tomoato), and there was seriously only two tiny slices of bacon on this $13.99 sandwich. This can not be written off to the "times are tough narrative". It was a lazy rendition of an American Classic that was bastardized in Conway, of all places. Conway is a great dive bar with nice service and good food. Parking is usually pretty easy around the restaurant. There is a lot of seating inside, outside, and a bar area as well. There is not a kids menu specifically but they do have items like grilled cheese and chicken strips on the menu. My kids seemed to enjoy both options. They're adult sized meals so it's definitely plenty of food. My cheeseburger was cooked properly how I requested it and the onion rings are super good! There are multiple TVs for viewing plus a modern day jukebox to pick music which I'm sure is popular in the evenings. My only gripe is for a dive bar in Conway, I feel like it's pretty spendy; chicken strips, grilled cheese and cheeseburger sub onion rings came out to $40 before a tip. read more

Did take out 2 nights ago. We got their seafood baskets. We got the food home and found the fries to be so SALTY THAT THEY WERE TOTALLY INEDIBLE. Divey biker bar. The perfect balance of divey and fresh bar food. The oyster shooters will blow your mind. They come from right down the road in Skagit bay. This is where the locals go. I loved the outdoor decorum. Very cute and inviting. The inside has a little bit of a diner feel with a lot of booth seating. I liked the bar. Nice and cozy little spot. The locals are very friendly and it was nice striking up a few conversations with people. Most of the bartenders grew up in the area. I ordered a cheese burger and curly fries. A friend once told me the best hamburger he ever had was from the Conway. I had to try this legendary burger. I have to admit I did agree and now will tell others. "One of the best burgers I ever had was at the Conway Pub and Eatery." I hope to be back again on my next trip to Washington. read more

If you are from a small town, this place will make you homesick. Everyone is super nice and the food tastes like you're aunt or grandma was involved. Went for the bacon burger with cheese, and onion rings - because the onion rings or breaded, which makes them so much better. Burger was overcooked - I asked for medium rare and it was full-on medium, and a bit more. Flavor was still there, though so no stars lost. We have been to this place for a number of years and today will be the last time. They have gone through another management change, so their prices have gone up considerably , and the food is not what it used to be. I think with constant change of staff you get different cooks so the food taste is not consistent. For Example-- my wife enjoyed the crisp chicken sandwich with honey mustard on it. In the past, she really enjoyed it, but today she could not eat it to her. There was no honey mustard taste with it. The most memorable item today was the price changes on everything. Yeas in the past I could order a nice steak dinner there for around Twelve dollars now they are in mid twenty and thirty dollars range.( I know there are now higher prices over all since the pandemic but I have to wonder how much is these other cost to making a Hugh profit. With new management the owners have put in place how much is the cost to pay for their presents. The place is still a hole in the wall with indoor and outdoor seating. We had to wait a little while for our order. We did not get appetizers, but the 2 people who came in a little while after us got their order before us.
