We've had Conway come out twice in the past six months, once to fix our AC and once for our heat. Communication was quick and easy, I called the number on their site and had a call and text from John same day (a Sunday). We arranged for Jay to come by the following day, not only was he there on time but he resolved the issue quickly and for a fair price. Today our heat went out and I texted John at 8am about sending someone over. Got an immediate reply and two hours later, Jay was here to fix the heat. Again a prompt job for a good price. I cannot recommend Conway enough. read more

100% recommend. Called the day before a heat wave when our older Bryant AC stopped working. John came out same morning. (I know that was lucky - YMMV). Fortunately we only needed a capacitor but he also did a quick inspection and replaced the stem to preserve our refrigerant. Point is- he kept our older until running without any hoopla. Super customer service. Fairly priced. Clearly experienced and I'm happy to say now we've found Conway - "we got a guy" when our AC needs work or replacement. read more

John and his team have been great this season. They replaced our old AC unit less than a week from calling them initially. We didn't like the workmanship the original company who installed our old unit did. A couple of months later I had called them to install a smart thermostat and while doing so his team also installed a missing grill in my system (from the previous work done by another HVAC company) at no cost and checked to see how the system was performing. He also does not try to waste your money and will suggest the best approach from a realistic and cost savings standpoint. Thank you so much! I love supporting veteran owned companies and they have done great work. I will continue using them in the future for my maintenance needs. read more

John was super awesome. I had an AC issue, which turned out to be nothing. But, I was worried that I may have to wait long to get someone to take a look. I found him through Yelp, and he responded within 10 min of the first request. He happened to be in the area, so he was able to come out to take a look in couple hours. There was no major issue, so he just charged me for the visit and explained couple things about my AC unit. He seemed very knowledgeable and honest. I already recommended him to my sister since she needed an HVAC person for her AC suction line insulation. read more

Great customer service, quick turnaround from diagnostics to full repair. Conway answered my call, took information and said would come over at a set time. Arrived when expected, checked out problem ordered part and when he had the part called scheduled a time to repair our furnace and our problem was completely fixed, up and running in less than 24 hours!!! 5 stars plus read more

Our gas burner stoped working..in winter...in New England. I had someone else out and they gave me a quote that I felt may be a bit high. I reached out to Conway and they were there the same day. Not only was the quote substantially less he was able to do it the next morning (just in time it was 53 in the house). Very professional. Took the time to talk about options. Quick response with the quote. Incredibly trustworthy. Will never call anyone else. Thank you!! read more

Jonn Conway came recommended by local residents and he doesn't disappoint! He was responsive, fair, honest and got the job done. Besides the the quick repair, he surveyed our system and gave us his recommendation. read more

My furnace was leaking a ton of water when the AC was running hard during a recent heat wave. I replaced the condensation pump myself but that did not solve the issue. I requested service from Conway through the yelp app because of the great reviews. John called me almost immediately. He explained that his staff was overbooked due to the extreme weather but asked me to describe my problem in greater depth. He then gave me detailed pointers on how to fix it myself! John felt bad that he couldn't send a tech over, but he spent 15 minutes on the phone with me and I was able to fix the problem. Obviously he didn't have to do that, I'll be sure to hire him in the future should anything go awry. read more

What a great experience I had with Conway HVAC. I popped a hole in my Freon copper pipe and released all my Freon from my Central AC system. Called John in the afternoon and he was at my house the next morning to repair as the weather was hot and humid. John was prompt, professional and customer focused. He did the work for the price he quoted and was able to use my AC again. I will use him for all my HVAC work moving forward. read more

John is seriously amazing. I'm not sure how else to put it. Our AC was leaking in the worst heat of the summer. We had a different company come out and said they could not do anything for us, the unit had to be replaced. We got their quote and called John. John came after his overnight fire fighting shift and looked at our unit. He temporarily patched it for us and took the necessities for quoting us to replace the AC and furnace. The call cost us less and he did more for us than the other company. We ended up replacing both units at a reasonable price and he and his company did the job quickly! He is honest and easy to work with. I will always use him from here on out and I recommend you do too. Hands down the best experience with HVAC ever. VERY SATISFIED read more

Hands down this is the place to call for your HVAC needs. For the last few days we struggled to figure out why the A/C would not work. We were at our wits end. We had no luck in scheduling another company. I called John and he was at the house within an hour. He was professional, courteous, and thoroughly explained what the issue was. I will use his company for all of our have needs. read more

My furnace stops working this morning so I called John to schedule a service. Fortunately, I could get my furnace serviced in just an hour after calling! The serviceman was very skilled and fixed the blower that was improperly installed by the previous repair guy. Now my furnace is working and I'm extremely happy with Conway HVAC. Will definitely use them again for my next service call. read more

My Central AC was not working properly- was not reaching set cooling temperature. Called John and he sent out his team the next day. They were prompt and professional. Turned out that the AC unit needed 3 lbs of refrigerant fluid. All is good now! read more

My central AC broke after an early summer heat wave, and I was very eager to get it fixed before the next round of hot weather. I called several companies, including one that I had done business with many times in the past, and no one even bothered to call me back--then I found Conway HVAC. John answered the phone himself, and even though they were extremely busy, he came out that same day, diagnosed the problem, and got to work right away. He had to come back the next day with a part, and he showed up right on time. He was professional, polite, and knowledgeable, and I would definitely call them again! read more

It is reassuring to know that there are still honest and trustworthy people in the world. Conway HVAC is an excellent company and is run by one of the good guys. John (the owner) responded to my Yelp request within 10 minutes and made room for a same day service appointment on the back side of an extreme heat waive. He was knowledgable, honest and helped find ways to increase our AC efficiency. Conway HVAC extremely fair prices, they are highly professional and John is genuinely a nice guy. I highly recommend Conway HVAC. read more

Emailed them regarding my condensation pump and they responded quickly. They were able to send someone over to service my pump pretty much the same day. They were friendly and professional and would use again. read more

The only HVAC company I will ever call! These guys saved my life during the worst heat wave of the summer! I had just moved into my apartment a few days prior and of course, during a severe heat advisory, my air conditioning stops blowing cold air. I contacted my landlord, went to work, and unfortunately didn't hear back from the property management until late afternoon, telling me that no one could come for another 3 days. I couldn't believe this so I called around like crazy trying to find someone to come sooner. Some places were so booked because of the hot weather that they didn't even answer. Finally, I called Conway HVAC, and John Conway answered the phone personally. At this point it was nearly 6pm after a long day of the heat index being around 105, but he checked with his team and got back to me quickly telling me someone could be there in 20 minutes! Sure enough, Jay pulled up exactly 20 minutes later and identified the problem within 5 minutes. I thanked him for coming out after what must've been a long day and said it was no problem. He said he was actually already home when he got the call but came right back out to help. He knew exactly what he was doing and it didn't take him long to replace a part and test everything out. He came inside to make sure everything was 100% perfect and even showed me around my place so I would know which vents did what and changed my filters for me. Before he left I wasn't sure exactly how to handle the bill because I would have to check with my landlord and he was so nice and told me that they weren't worried about that. It was honestly one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. They turned what could've been a complete nightmare into a total breeze. I can't say enough great things about my experience, and I definitely know I won't ever have to call around to any other companies for HVAC service. The guys here are knowledgeable, dedicated and will go the extra mile to help their customers. I have found my place! Thanks so much again! read more

When you are in need of service repair or maintenance this is definitely the company to call! Of course the coldest day of the fall season, our heat stopped working. Conway Heating & Air Conditioning worked with our schedule to set up a convenient time to fix our problem. John was extremely professional and explained our issues clearly. Our repair was completed in a timely manner, and the area was left clean and organized. You would never know someone had been there to work on our heating system. Service rates were more than fair, and maintenance recommendations were advised but there was no pressure to commit to anything. We will certainly be calling for our future AC maintenance in the spring! Highly recommended!!! read more

John Conway, Johnstone S.I. & Larry Bevis are an amazing team in the world of HVAC and their trades. I reached out to John Conway to obtain a price quote to replace our 31 year old heating system. We also wanted to upgrade to central air. The conditions to do this work, in a 4 foot, dirt & damp cellar basement during one of the worst NE Summer's for HHH index - brutal conditions. John promptly came over and provided a very fair market quote for a top-rated brand Goodman . The day before Labor Day, his team came over. Disassembled the old system and began installing the new system. The day after the holiday, they resumed the project and by THUR the system was completely installed and operating. The work was done neatly and everyone that came to our house were super respectful and highly professional. John is a triple threat. He is a Marine, a Firefighter and excellent businessman. So refreshing to work with John, someone that deeply cares about his country, his community and expertise in HVAC. John is a mature younger man with an old soul and old-fashioned values that resonated with us instantly. John is the real deal and we are 100% happy. Di & Tiny Conlin read more
