Gilson was great! He showed up during my window and was very efficient and friendly. I've never had a boiler nor have I ever lived somewhere that I was responsible for maintenance. He was kind and walked me through what he was doing and why certain things were the way they were. He mentioned one part possibly needing attention in the future and even gave me a quote for a new boiler since this one is at end of expected life. Wasn't pushy at all and made me feel confident that we will likely get another season or two out of this one and possibly more. Will 100% call Warrior again! Amazing service. Came quickly. Took the time to explain what's the situation was. For us it was a bad capacitor that failed on our ancient central air system. In and out repair done in 15 minutes. When I asked him about upgrading the system to mini splits, he didn't give me a hard sell but told me about to read up on what mass save rebates I might be eligible for and then he can discuss how to navigate that to make sure we get the most out of anything we decide to do in the future. 1000/10 will hire again and be my go to for any HVAC related issues. read more

Great team - very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We recently replaced our thermostat and had no issues all winter. With the summer heat, we switched to cooling and were surprised that both the AC and Furnace were going full blast. We contacted the Warrior team and Gilson came over and systematically checked everything and reset all the wires; the system was now operating as it should. A month later, when we needed AC again, we got heat coming back on with the AC. Gilson returned right on time and re-checked everything and got us running again. Our AC went out and we had our long time HVAC company (the original installer) come out to repair it. After charging a dispatch fee (for the pleasure of driving to our house) and a very large diagnostic fee, we got a preliminary cost estimate from the tech to replace the air handler evaporator coil. Since it was an older system, he called his sales manager, who proceeded to try to sell us the installation of two new systems (est. $16-28k ea). We let them know we were just looking for a repair. The proposal came afterwards and was 4x the preliminary estimate. We then reached out to Warrior and got a response the next morning. We provided the model and S/N and they came back with a reasonably priced proposal that was pretty close to the original tech's estimate. Gill came by quickly and replaced the coil and made a few other minor system updates. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional, and cleaned up when he was done. No BS or hard sell for new system installation. I'm happy to say that we now have a new HVAC service that we can trust. We highly recommend Warrior for your HVAC system repairs. read more

Warrior HVAC is worth seriously considering. Before choosing Warrior and owner Gill Bastos, I had in person consults with two other companies that were highly rated. I chose Warrior because they didn't rush me into making a specific choice between mini-split or duct system for A/C and heating, and because they came for several unpaid visits to answer questions from myself and even from other folks in my condo building about how the mechanics and outdoor components would impact the exterior. Oh, and btw, his rate was reasable and less than that of the other companies. In my case, living on a first floor, I already had functioning ductwork, and chose to use and upgrade it, as well as replace the furnace with a new and more energy efficient one. Anyone reading this will recognize that this can be complex and costly. Gill brought the job in within the promised 4 days. I made regular trips to the basement to see and understand what he was doing. He never hesitated to answer questions and demonstrate what her was doing. He worked almost solo, with the help of an electrician. I was amazed and pleased. The installation took place last summer. It's now December. I love the sytem whether for AC or heat. I couldn't be happier with Gil's service and responsiveness. He was very prompt in his responses, was able to accommodate me right away, despite the general heat wave that is keeping HVAC gurus so busy, and was even able to work around my tight schedule. My mini split is an older model so I knew it might be up for replacing but Gil did his absolute best to try to get it working again. In the end , it would not have been cost effective to get all the parts needed for a fix but I was so impressed with Gil that I have decided to hire him to put in the new unit needed. He was very reasonably priced for his diagnostic visit (especially given the quotes that I had been hearing these past few days). I really respect and like that he was not price gauging due to the heat and taking advantage of people needing AC. His prices were absolutely fair and reasonable , he even worked with me because the AC needed to be fully replaced and charged me less than I anticipated. I will add to the review once we get the new unit in but I know that it's going to be a great experience. He provided the quotes in a very timely manner, was available for additional questions and, once again, was flexible about my schedule to agree on a time for installation. I also found that his price for the new unit and install was more than competitive, which I really appreciate, and he was very honest about trying to work with some of the existing set up to even save me a little money. All in all a great experience so far and I would absolutely recommend.
