I have known Peter for many years and followed him to Net Zero purely because of his professionalism, trustworthiness, expertise and easy going, positive personality. He explains every servicing he is doing, what it entails, and what it will cost. He is always on time for appointments and if I need to leave, I fully trust him to finish his work and close up the house for me! A rather complicated and sad review. I am a senior citizen. My gas heating system needed replacement after a fire in my furnace. $20,000 and I replaced it. The very next day the second heating system I had in an addition failed. I was distraught!! Net Zero gave me a great quote..several thousands less than other HVAC. What they did not tell me that they were only electric heating contractors. So after paying $12,000.00 for installation I now pay an electric bill of $1000.00 a month in the winter. They walked by a brand new gas system in my home..disengaged a second gas heating 50 feet away and installed a unit that is costing me a thousand dollars a month. Not one of the employees ...installers. or project estimators...addressed what a poor and unkind decision this was. Now I have to redo my heating system...sell my house...unable to retire . Would they do the same to their mothers..grandmothers? This is a sad and sorry company. Yes I know I'm a stupid elderly woman with no recourse from people like this. I just hope this warns others to avoid this snake company. read more

I got an estimate for two minisplits just before the pandemic, put down a deposit, and then had to cancel due to the outbreak. A year later I contacted Brian at Netzero...he remembered me, honored my deposit and estimate and set up to install in July. His team came out (Another fellow named Brian and Tristan) and they did a fantastic job of installing the two minisplits. One a floor unit and the other on a wall unit. I told him that my current thermostat was in the room where the minisplit floor unit was and said I was nervous if I ran heat in that unit/room it make the rest of the house cold....(as the thermostat room would get hot and not cause the furnace to heat the rest of the house) he then said he offered to install an ecobee thermostat that had a remote sensor I could put upstairs. Great solution. And the condenser outside makes literally no sound when it runs. They were done in 2 days and Holly at the office submitted for the Mass Save rebate form that substantially reduced the cost of the install. Thanks very much to Brian and the Netzero team. read more

Brian and Net Zero are great! We recently had our fifteen year old furnace give out for the first time and I had no idea where to turn for service, parts or assistance. I called Net Zero on Monday afternoon and Brian was able to come out first thing Tuesday morning to take a look. Brian was super courteous, called before he arrived and arrived when he said he would when the appointment was initially made. He was able to get everything back up and running within an hour after replacing two major parts which he had on the truck with him. A clear explanation of what was wrong, and what steps were being taken to correct the issues was provided to me and I felt super confident in the work that was being performed Parts and labor pricing was very fair and an itemized receipt was emailed to me after the job was completed, which I love. Brian with Netzero came out and performed the installation for us back in 2017. They were very professional and were able to install the heat pump and 3 split units all in one day. When we had a minor electrical issue in relation to the install, Netzero was able to quickly contact the electrician who assisted in the installation the very next day to resolve the issue. And their support is superb as well. When I had a question relating to one of my split units, Netzero responded in a very timely manner and were able to provide me with the answers I needed. I would recommend them in a heartbeat for anyone considering ductless heating/cooling for their home. read more

He was very understanding and responsive to our concerns, and although our equipment was significantly delayed because of supply chain issues was great with communication. I hired him because by his explanation of the job you could tell how meticulous and knowledgeable he is. He noticed things that others didn't. I'm glad I did! Brian and his team answered a million questions before we decided to move ahead with a whole home heat pump system. We've only had the system for a few weeks but so far we're very happy we did this, and very pleased with NetZero's professionalism and customer service. We went from a single zone heating system with separate window air conditioning units, to a six zone heating and cooling system. The state's providing a $10,000 rebate, and the balance is covered with a zero interest loan that's subsidized by our electric utility. We've kept our oil furnace for emergency cold snaps. We had one heat pump that was making a small but annoying buzzing sound periodically, and someone from NetZero came out right away and moved some kind of condenser pump out of the unit and relocated it to the basement so the unit remains quiet. So, all is well. I keep getting monthly invoice notices from the oil company we've bought from for years, and every invoice shows a zero balance. read more

Brian came out and was finally able to get our wireless thermostats hooked up and running with our heating system. We had not been able to find someone to do it and he got it done with ease. About a week later our upstairs AC stopped working. We called and he found that we simply needed a "recharge" for the condenser and to clean out the air filter. Later that same night the AC (it was 90 degrees and humid) stopped working again. He came out at ~9:30 p.m. and changed out a part that had broken and was leaking. We really appreciated it as we have 2 small kids and needed the AC working to sleep in our rooms. Brian is really nice, responsive, and knows what he's doing. I'm happy to finally have a good heating/AC person that I can rely on. Would recommend to everyone I know. read more

I called at 8pm expecting a call back in the morning, Brian called within 5 min of my request through yelp. Brian came out promptly the next day to help and advise of how to fix our air conditioner. I have had several people come try to fix the problem and the invoices were mounting with no solution. Brian had the air conditioner fixed within hours of his visit. I am under deadline with some urgent matters, but am taking the time to write this review because I was just so impressed with this company. I just used Netzero after seeing a recommendation on a FB board and researching and seeing positive reviews. We had an emergency because the A/C wouldn't stop despite our best efforts and it was very cold 24/7. The air conditioning business we had used in the past told us we would need to wait 8 days for an appointment. I had never used Netzero, but called them. Not only was Netzero easy to work with - came to our house in 30 minutes - but the owner, Brian, was knowledgeable and found the issue and then said it was too small to charge us for. I liked him a lot and now am asking him for an estimate to replace some old vents. Smart, professional, trustable, easy to work with. I highly recommend him. read more
