I can't say enough about how great my experience was with Atlantic Bay Contracting. While the project was a relatively small asbestos remediation, I needed help managing it while I was out of state. This was not a problem and the entire team went above and beyond . First, when I called after hours, Allen responded promptly to my questions -- and was friendly and welcoming to me (I as moving to MA from out of state). Second, when it came to understanding the whole process, the administrative team patiently explained every step. Third, the entire process was scheduled and executed *as planned* (notification to the state, and the project itself,etc). Allen came out to survey the amount of mold I had in my basement and helped me troubleshoot where it may me coming from. I hired Atlantic Bay after getting two quotes from other companies that didn't come close to the knowledge or information that Atlantic Bay gave me. The crew of four came out, on time, as scheduled, showed me what they were going to do and how they were going to seal up the basement. They worked a full day and came back the next day and finished up. There was a small area under the stairs that they weren't able to access but were more than accommodating in coming back, months later, to remove that small patch of mold when I removed the stairs. I can't say enough good words about Atlantic Bay Contracting and especially Allen and Liz. Asbestos was found in the house and I contacted several places to understand what to do. Almost all I heard was "we can't even start working until 10 business days after you file paperwork with state" or "we don't know when we can get to you" or not even responding. But not Atlantic Bay Contracting! Liz carefully explained that there is an expedited waiver process and walked me through how to get it. Allen stopped by on his day off and provided a fair quote and a very detailed explanation. The folks were able to start the next business day and get everything out. He was an enormous help to me after the fire in my apartment. My landlord delayed the clean up and restoration--Allan pointed out health hazards and suggested I contact Department of Public Health. Atlantic Bay Contracting was great! We had two pipes freeze during a recent cold spell and they were super easy to work with for moisture mitigation. We needed to have some drywall tested for asbestos and they provided contacts for a number of local options. We needed somebody to do drywall repair and painting and they provided options for that. The team on-site was super nice and didn't make any mess at all (quite the opposite of our plumbers) and they worked with me to find an alternative disinfectant as I didn't want anything with quats around my kids. Allen, the owner, even brought my daughters some coloring books when he stopped by to check on the work. I hope we don't have cause to need abatement or remediation again in the future, but if we do we'll definitely reach back out to ABC. read more
