I liked the questions he asked about our, dryer location, dryer vent, layout, home, etc. We also discussed the possible need for the dryer exterior exhaust cover. He emailed me a quote and we scheduled the job. Edwin was our technician. He did a detailed inspection of our system and went to work cleaning the vent and installing a new exterior exhaust cover. AWESOME Experience - Our 17-year-old hair salon has been plagued by dryer vent issues for years. We have had multiple "Duct Cleaning" companies in to fix the problem and they have either temporarily improved the situation or made it even worse. Thank God for Duct Kings and Edwin. Unlike every other company we hired, Edwin took the time to assess the system and diagnose the real problem. It wasn't that the dryer duct wasn't clean, it was that the dryer duct couldn't be cleaned because of the way it was constructed. Unfortunately, the construction company that installed the original ducting used flex hose over a 25' run to connect the dryer to the roof vent. The rough surface of the flex hose interior plus the many peaks and troughs over the 25' run made the duct virtually impossible to clean. So, over the years it became completely plugged. Fortunately, Edwin recognized the problem and replaced the flex hose with rigid smooth bore tubing. I'm happy to say that the system is now operating at peak efficiency. What makes Duct Kings different from everyone else is they understand how ducts should be constructed, and they have the knowledge and skills to fix the problems, not paper over them. AND they were no more expensive than competitors with far fewer skills and capabilities who deliver lesser results. I cannot recommend Edwin or Duct Kings more highly. read more

Perfect! The technician arrived on time. He was very efficient, courteous and professional. I showed him where the dryer and outside vent were and went back to work in my home office. Shortly later he told me it was finished. He had done the following: - Showed me pictures and videos of the work that he had performed - Of particular interest was the 'before-and-after" picture of the inside of the dryer duct, which had been clogged with lint - He cleaned out the dryer inside-filter - He swept and vacuumed the area between the dryer and the wall - He put a screw in the dryer vent hose that had been missing - He installed the outside bird-guard that had fallen on the deck months ago I would like to use Duct Kings again to clean out my home AC ducting. read more

Kind courteous professional folks. The cleaning took roughly 3.5 hours. The Technician took his time to make sure my duct work was spotless, he even sprayed disinfectant to kill and prevent mold. I made an appointment on a Thursday and they were able to schedule us on Monday. They explained the process and what we could expect. They arrived on time, were extremely professional, explaining everything as they went. If they had to move anything or unplug cords in outlets, they let us know. They were extremely clean and conscious about our family allergies. They suggested we could take a before and after picture, which showed a major difference. Horrible. I scheduled an air duct cleaning and took the whole day off work since I was told I couldn't be given a specific time that the technician would be there. No one ever showed up, and no one called me. I called the company twice, which was actually just an answering service, and they told me they sent both of my messages to the management company to have someone call me. No one ever called. I e-mailed Mike who scheduled my service and it's now the next day and I still have not been contacted.
