I don't recommend this cafe. Overpriced products. A grilled cheese for 10.95? More ridiculous than Starbucks pricing. Bought the Italian sparkling water for $6. Which was a Canadian club soda with syrup. The service was ok no complaints. We stopped by around 4pm and it was fairly dead. Conversations is the cutest little cafe in Beamsville. We love coming here with our kids, watching the snow fall while having a nice warm bowl of soup. Their iced lattes are delicious and use coffee ice cubes so it never gets watered down. My only complaint would be it is expensive for what you get, but I'm happy to support a local staple in town. read more

I liked this place to stop in between jobs. I tried it the second time and disappointed. The arugula was yellow and turning, so I picked it out of tge spinach mix; the orange ginger dressing was watered down this time, not as pungenttasteless... What an amazing experience! Friendly staff & delicious food. Their dining room has tables with different games under the service of the glass. Whether or not it was purely for decor purposes or if you could actually play those game the vibe was cool. It felt very relaxed. And they have an image/painting or picture of a violin, with what looks like its blueprint. This caught my attention. Their dining room was closed, yet their patio appeared open. I ordered a greek salad. It comes with their balsamic dressing, yet I opted for a lemon wedge instead. The salad didnt even need a dressing. It was delicious on it's own, as it came with feta cheese too. I also ordered a side of chicken. The portion they gave was very substantial, for an extra $4.00 charge. And it tasted smokey. Mmm I enjoyed how communicative the employees were. They were training and over all it was a gentle and easy going environment. I really would like to express how tasty the salad was. Usually I cannot stand onions on salad or in a salad. Unless they're the green ones. However in this salad, it was the ideal amount. Perfect, purple onion slices. And they topped it off with some herbs and/or spices; this, I felt added that lil' something extra. Every bite was flavorful. I've been here a few times over the years. I like the place inside a lot, with lots of seating, nice brickwork, and outside is a patio. The staff was friendly, but when I clearly asked for a regular coffee (I said it twice), the staff person made me a latte, and charged me over $4 for it--not cool. And, when she gave me the debit machine to pay, it was on the screen to add a tip, even though I was ordering at the counter--again not cool. So now I'm thinking she purposely ignored my original request for just coffee, in order to charge me more! This time popping in on a Friday night I was pleasantly surprised of them having a musical performer. A female singer with an acoustic guitar and a couple of female guests singing along with her. They were pretty good, I took a couple of videos. The music ran from 7:00pm to 10:00pm when they closed, and was a nice bonus, though it was very hard to have a conversation while it was on as it was quite loud. Perhaps something a bit softer would have been more appropriate for this conversation-inspired place. read more

Great spot for brekkie, coffee, tea and other treats. Fabulous cup of joe! Hubby had the dark roast and I had the medium plus we had the homemade peach muffins! Scrumptious! Lots of sitting both inside and out. Free WiFi. Parking in front and on the side. Was hopping the whole time we were there. Friendly service with a touch of humor! Check it out when you are in the Beamsville area. They do egg type breakfasts too and sell assorted homemade muffins by the 1/2 dozen! read more

Do not miss this place if you need a pastry, coffee, lunch, or quick meal! The muffins, especially Cranberry Coconut, are fantastic! Not greasy or oily, but moist and flavorful. Great spot for soup and (half or full) sandwiches and ice cream! Considering we were a group of 7 adults on a semi-busy Saturday afternoon, soup and sandwiches were delicious and was made with love. I had the split pea soup and grilled BBQ chicken sandwich. So good! Menu is quite large also offering all-day breakfast. Portion size is generous at a decent price! No problems bringing my infant daughter in her stroller. Large seating area with cosy atmosphere. Friendly, helpful and patient customer service. Moose tracks and maple walnut ice cream was really good as well. We'll be back when we are visiting the area again! A true neighbourhood gem. read more

I LOVE this place!! I have had excellent few from multiple family members and finally tried the place out on my last visit home. They have lactose free drink options and gluten free bread options as well. There matcha lattes and cappuccinos are wonderful. In the middle of stopping at wineries, we stopped at Conversations for some food to keep us going through the next round of tastings. While the appearance is somewhat like a strip mall, the inside is anything but. The decor is warm and inviting, including areas to gather, a fireplace and WIFI. The selection of handmade sandwiches was great and they also offer all-day breakfast, soups and different beverages. I had a sandwich and my wife had a half sandwich with a bowl of soup. We easily found a table and our food was delivered in a reasonable timeframe and it was hot and delicious. My wife had the fall turkey sandwich and the num num noises were almost embarrassing. My sandwich was made to perfection (BBQ chicken melt). Conversations is comfortable, the people helpful and friendly and the food great. It is a perfect stop among wineries in the area. As a coffee aficionado, I can say that it is always worth the drive! Their coffee has a smooth, rich, bold taste and offers cappuccino with different options, such as lactose free. Great coffee shop in this small town. Comfortable seating and casual atmosphere. Freindly staff and good service without the coffee snobbery. Quality coffee and teas prepared almost any way you want. They even serve in stoneware cups. Delicious deserts, soups and sandwiches as well. The youth drop in area supported by these wonderful people is also a blessing to this community. If your looking to spend an absurd amount of money for food that you can make better at home, this is the place to go! I had ordered the chicken quesadilla and my boyfriend ordered the beef dip, the vegetables were hard and raw, with massive chunks of onions on both sandwiches. The au jus for the beef dip was flavourless and tasted like warm water and the chicken and beef were both overly dry. With how expensive the meal was ($31 for 2 sandwiches) and how awful the food tasted, I will never go back here. read more

Wonderful espresso/cappuccino. Very much needed little coffee place in this small town. Great breakfasts and lunches, clean and casual environment, and nice big outdoor patio. The service is very friendly, and there's a youth zone, which is a great initiative for the community. Great wifi connection too!
