Courteous service and a decent variety of food and beverage options. Fairly spacious inside with tables that go into a back area where you can chat with friends, read a book as you sip your coffee, or do work in your laptop computer. read more

It's been a while since my last visit, and I'm so happy to see the new seating in the gallery area! It makes the space feel even more inviting for sticking around a while. The service here is consistently sweet, and the quality of the food and drinks never misses a beat. The biggest (and most delicious) surprise this time? They are now carrying Donut Monster donuts! Such a perfect addition to their menu. Whether you're stopping in for a quick caffeine fix or looking for a cool spot to sit and enjoy the aesthetic, Red Church remains a Hamilton favorite for a reason. read more

Recommended by a friend and her original words are " the best flat white in the world" so tried the flat white and it tasted okay 8/10 I would say...maybe my expectations were too high The bakery was plain and no warmed option in the winter... Great location in downtown Hamilton Not a bad choice if you are around and looking for coffee read more

Cozy cafe on King Street in downtown Hamilton. Has a small walk-through gallery in the back too! Very stylish cafe overall. Staff is always very inviting and patient. I've been here a number of times. During my most recent visits I tried the seasonal drink Lavender Latte (though you can ask for this year round as a custom drink I believe). I've had it both iced and hot and it's a lovely drink. My friend ordered wine, and while there was no menu for it, one of the employees was kind enough to walk around the counter and walk her through each of the selections. Shared the Strawberry Sumac Oat Bar and the Lemon Oat Bar with a friend and both were great choices. read more

Great spot! Unique. Really good coffee and pastry options. Didn't try the food but I hope to be back.

Love the set up of Redchurch Cafe + Gallery. The clean white decor, the spacious of the cafe itself with the Gallery at the back. I love the bar stool seating looking out into the main street with plenty of natural lights which is great for photo taking! You can order a coffee, fancy tea or even a beer/cocktail! I really love that idea. Great little cafe to hang out and have some down time while in Hamilton! read more

Redchurch is my very favourite place to have coffee and the occasional treat. The staff are always welcoming

Interesting concept that combines café + gallery + bar (serves wine/beer)! Space is a bit narrow and deep, so it works perfectly for this multipurpose café. Barista seemed friendly and most of the prices were cheaper than most indie places in the GTA. Iced Americano was good! I believe they also will substitute non-dairy alternatives without a charge. There are soo many cafés nowadays that it's smart to have some sort of gimmick to make it stand out. read more

Had a cappuccino and my wife had a latte and a pumpkin chocolate chip loaf. The flavour of the coffee is very similar to another of our favourite coffee shops in Erin, Ontario. My wife said the pumpkin and chocolate chip loaf was to die for. The cappuccino was excellent. Better than the latte. We did curbside pick up and the order came ahead of the time scheduled which was great a d the girl serving us was super friendly. Their patio is nice with nice aesthetic seating and it's away from the traffic on the street so it's more distraction-free. read more

This café is amazing! From Gore Park, this space seems small and simple. When you open the door, you'll be welcomed by a stunning, modern, comfortable, and graciously spacious café. I love the use of space, and calming colors throughout the café space. The staff are excellent, and the gallery in the back of the café is a perfect Hamilton addition to the space, and offers a chance for café patrons to become more Hamiltonian. I would absolutely recommend the Turmeric Latte as an espresso option. Be sure to sit and enjoy the great fire crackling beyond the counter, as well! read more

Decent place. I had their matcha latte which wasn't too bad. The service was ok, could be better though. They have a nice outdoor patio too read more

A truly great space to do work, have a meeting or grab a cup of coffee and read a book. Red Church has a nice interior with a neon sign so you can grab those insta pics of course! ;) The coffee is strong and the baristas are really nice! They also have a lovely selection of pastries and a side bar called the "shop" where you can buy your own brewing accessories and gifts. The pastries are also really good. I'm not sure if they do them in house but they seem to be fresh! The wifi is also strong so if you're a cafe hopper like me you'll appreciate the work environment here. The back Redchurch is a gallery space with rotating exhibits so always nice to see something new if you come back every so often. Definitely check out this space if you're into cute third wave coffee places and want a comfortable quiet place to work! read more

Conveniently located downtown, not hard to find, and quite spacious inside with plenty of small tables for meeting up with a friend or getting some work done alone. Did not notice any outlets though. The staff are quite knowledgeable about their java selection, so do ask questions. Not to mention the latte art is very symmetrical and pleasing. The coffee beans used here are supplied by De Mello Palheta (Toronto based). There is also an actual food menu, though very limited pastry options. read more

Great cafe with a few pastry options and an actual food menu. There is also free WiFi and lots of seating space for people looking for a nice work space. The only thing I didn't like was that it can get quite cold in the winter if you sit near the door (but there's so much seating that you'd definitely be able to find a spot further away!). Would definitely recommend :) read more

The baristas were amazing! So nice and friendly. The breakfast burrito was to die for and my latte was delicious! Highly recommend.

What a nice place! We stopped in for a drink after dinner. The staff was very friendly/especially the owner Stewart. It's our first visit to Canada and Hamilton and he regaled us with local history and ideas for outings for the remainder of our trip. I'll def go back before we leave for a coffee. What a versatile place-wine, beer, and coffee! Love visiting local places when we travel and you don't want to miss this one. read more

Great coffee, friendly staff, amazing coffee beans. Love their outdoor seats looking over the park.

Great place to grab a coffee and a snack or a light lunch. I had a flat white and a pecan square and both were delicious! Licensed too! As the sign in the window says - Beer! Prosecco! I tried the mango IPA (from a startup local brewer) and really liked it. Neat gallery space in the back featuring local talent - cool photography exhibition on while I was there. read more

Hi Red church is a wonderful cafe/gallery and we love to stop in and have a bite and a drink. We do have a suggestion. The last time we were in we had a great sandwich and had thankfully finished it before wafting smells of bleach (or sanitizers/detergents) while we were still having a meal, interrupted our pleasant atmosphere of eating and having wine. Headache ensued immediately upon the smell of the cleansers used on the floors and the moment was dissolved. Please, please consider your customers and don't start cleaning 1.5 hrs before your closing time. We will appreciate it. Your service and geniality and food are wonderful. Just an extra thought to the environment would be useful. read more

I had a REALLY great coffee. The staff was friendly and polite. After my cup of good strong coffee I enjoyed perusing the Brilliant artwork in there art gallery. No one was talking to loud . I actually felt like they appreciated my business. 5 stars. read more

Not only is the coffee and food really good but the atmosphere and music (spotify playlist??) also make it a great experience overall!! It's very worth venturing to despite the scary conditions of downtown hamilton you might have to face on your way there. Perhaps even getting attacked or killed by a member of the questionable population that frequents king street west is worth it if you're able to die happily with red church's coffee in your system read more

The latte with oat milk was good but the tea latte was very bland and tasteless. I might visit again for the coffee and the vibe. Loved the interior. read more

Lovely place and has a very interesting set up as well as gallery. A very cool cafe, love their plants that are scattered about. I had a latte and it was perfect. My fiance had a chai latte and he said it was lovely. Decently price, has a decent selection too. I was surprised to see keto granola there as well. Lots of goodies you can buy as well. Over all cool place, I really digged it. Would return and recommend read more

This is a delightful cozy coffee house in the downtown core. Excellent coffee and delicious treats. There is often local art on the walls.

Terrible, this cafe used to be my favourite but now I never want to come back. The quality has downgraded drastically. I always looked forward to coming to RedChurch, it was one of my regular spots. If you are in the area please save yourself the heartbreak and just get starbucks. The grilled cheese tasted like cardboard, they switched the bread and use less cheese... but charge more. Don't come here. read more
