    Caramel Latte
    Krestan K.

Came here a few times in 2015 and I really enjoyed the Iced Hot Chocolates. The service was great back then and that's continued into 2017. It's a really hipster-esque place, lots and lots of reclaimed wood and sliced trunks, I personally love the decor. Today we got here on a sunny 14C day in February, forgot it wasn't summer to be honest. We wanted iced mochas and lattes, but their ice machines hadn't be turned on. So I got a Caramel Latte instead, which was great despite being hot on a warm day, luckily they have lots of cold water available. The coffee here is some of the best coffee I've had in the GTA, except downtown Toronto, of which I haven't explored enough to say. They also offer coconut, soy and almond milk. Which is great for those of us with dairy problems, though I still had milk haha!

Tamp Coffee Co takes their coffee seriously. A good cup of coffee whether it is a pour over or a macchiato all brewed and prepared with care. I don't know what to expect when I walked inside Tamp Coffee as friendly barista greeted us and even advice us on which drink to get. Even worried I won't enjoy my cortado since it might be too strong for me... The set up is cozy and inviting! On this glorious summer afternoon, there is a choice of front porch, back patio and of course the main area with a large communal table or lounge like seating accented by cushions. Definitely worth visiting when one in the area. I will be back!

One of the best coffee in the GTA. Whenever I visit Burlington, I make a stop here for a coffee. Their espressos, long black and Americano are great. If their espresso is great, it shows that at the base of any drink, it will be good. If I'm staying, I'll get a almond milk cortado. Probably my favorite drink! It's normally busy, but there are enough tables to go chat in small groups or go to work. There is a communal table good for up to 8 people. I find Tamp on the pricier side, however, the coffee is so good, I can't help but go back.

3.5 Stars ... the service makes it above average but the drink itself was just ok. Just one street north of Spencer park, you can find this quaint and lovely cafe. It has a lot of seating and many options on the boards for various types of coffee. I liked how there is a lot of wood details in the cafe. From an atmosphere perspective, it is laid back but much more comfortable than any corporate chain like Starbucks. The service here is friendly and plentiful. They were making the drinks quickly and were very friendly to explain the different types. I ended settling on getting a turbo (aka Large) almond mocha coffee. I want to say it was a good drink but there was something amiss from the chocolate used in it. I'm not sure if it is too bitter and grassy for a mocha but there was no richness to the drink. Compared to Rooster, their mocha wasn't overly sweet but had a deep cocoa note. Tamp flavour was mostly grassy and ... waxy? I would be willing to give this place another shot... maybe? Perhaps a flat white instead. But there's another place right along North Shore I may try first.

Above-average. A Queen West-style hipster coffee shop located in the heart of downtown Burlington. I visited on a weekday afternoon and found the atmosphere clean, laid-back, and quite inviting. Tastefully yet casually decorated, and a great place for a chat or to do some work. First, the parking situation. It's $1.75 per hour if you choose to do street parking in front of the cafe, for a max time of 3 hours. Second, the actual products. They have a pretty extensive menu with a variety of snacks, breakfast items (particularly on weekends), and lots of drink options. I ordered a Zucchini Walnut Muffin and a Flat White. Size of the drink was smaller than average. It tasted fine, and wasn't so over-roasted that it left a bad aftertaste. However, it didn't have as much depth as other espresso-based drinks I've had, and ended up being a bit plain to me. However, it was still quite delicious and pleasant enough. The muffin was very moist and delicious, and I'll definitely be back to try out the rest of their baked goods (I was told they're all made in house). The atmosphere, product quality, and variety of drinks makes this place a solid 4 stars. Service was a little apathetic and disinterested; they spent more time on their phones than on focusing on customers. Other than that minor quibble, I think I'll be back if I'm ever in the area again.

Best coffee in Burlington! And not only do you get a cup of coffee; you get an experience. From choosing your method of brewing to the latte art, every drink is an expert crafted treat. Don't be intimidated by Jimmy the owner. He'll make you order your first cup of coffee black, even if you're a die hard double double fan. Take a sip, tell him it's the best cup of coffee you've ever had (which will be the truth), and then give him a smile and ask for some milk and sugar. You won't offend him... too much. Note: Tamp is also vegan friendly with almond and soy milk options.

I happened to be at this side of town and decided to go coffee exploring! Great coffee!! The espresso has great flavour and body. The milk was steamed really well! Perfect temperature. My flat white was delicious. A real cafe with real coffee. Yay! Found one. Check mate. The cafe itself is very nice. Outdoor patio with a cozy interior. They have a great selection of specialty coffees and teas and even smoothies! Good selection of goodies too. Definitely a chill/trendy place to come hang out at, catch up with friends, or do some work. Next time I'm in Burlington I'll be stopping by. Thanks for my first great coffee experience in Burlington :D

Almond milk latte and salted chocolate chip cookie. Divine.

With some funky Portland aesthetics, a killer playlist (feat. a soothing mix of artists like Amy Winehouse, Feist, Ellie Goulding and Michael Bublé), and easily the best almond milk latte I've ever had, Tamp Coffee Co. is a keeper. Their sweets are divine. Try the perfectly fudgy salted chocolate chip cookie. Excellent latté dipping material, let me tell you. With free WIFI and a cozy array of seating options, Tamp is ideal for working too. The seating at the window is on point for laptop work. If you're after a private table, you might be a little limited depending on the time of day. There are two large tables for communal seating though if you're not the shy type. Long story short, this place rocks.

Wonderful place! Delicious drinks and great service. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that they only have white sugar available for sweetening. I would've appreciated raw honey as an option. Otherwise, I have nothing but good things to say. Almond milk is an option and they even have a smoothie bar. Also, paleo and gluten-free baked items are sometimes on offer.

This is a great cozy place for coffee lover. I love the latte arts. So I asked the server and it was amazing during this special holiday season.

TIP: Drive a few (small) streets east to Martha St. to get away from the busy-ness and you may be lucky enough to find parking there. I came there on a Saturday afternoon and it was 3-hours of free parking while other lots were a $10 flat-rate during ribfest. I really liked this place! It's nicer than average, non-pretentious, AND there is shaded, outdoor seating both at the front and back of café. Male barista was very nice. Overall very chill place on Pine Street. Bonus: You don't need to learn a whole other lingo in order to order here! Americano was good and so was the Pecan Square ($3.55 tho). Not sure if they have wifi or not, you'll hafta ask. Would definitely come back if&when I'm in the area again!

Every time I come here I find that the average demographic leans a bit older so I'd like to share with younger people especially if you like to cook with hard to find ingredients. This place is especially great if you love making Italian dishes and baked goods like me and don't want to drive all the way out towards Mississauga and spend more than anticipated at other specialty stores, or even somewhere like Fortino's where you get charged an arm and a leg for certain produce and meat. Everything here is so fresh, and I love that they sell their prepared handmade pasta at the hot table for CHEAP. I got one serving of their handmade tortellini in alfredo sauce for just $6.99 and I was able to make two meals out of it without any extra sides or drinks. I haven't tried anything else because they had already closed most of the hot table when I got the tortellini but what was still out looked really good. Their desserts are pretty good too, I prefer their cookies over their cakes as I feel I've had better elsewhere, but nonetheless have a great selection with good pricing as well. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area, I feel like even if you came in without the intention of buying something, you'll still manage to make a purchase of some sort lol.

Unfortunately 3 weeks before his party he had a really bad fall and had to be airlifted to the hospital. I called the bakery almost 12 days in advance - more than enough time before they even began prepping anything for this small party - and they refused. Well actually, the employee on the phone was extremely unhelpful to begin with and when I requested I talk to the manager they left me waiting for almost 20 minutes on hold. When I did speak with the manager, I explained the situation I believed she understood and offered me a refund. I was clear we were going to rebook the party for the summer time and I'd be sure to call on them again for the order. In the end, I never got the refund. I've emailed the bakery numerous times with no response. I was even warned it was pointless to email customer service as I would not get a response. What honest business does that? So we are going ahead with the party and I highly recommend you go with the professionals at Pusateri's or Eataly. It's been a much better more positive and honest experience from the get go.

Zesty Pita was rather kind of busy today so we ate along the bench that faces out the front window of the restaurant. Right in front of us is the Wandering Scott that I never realized was there. So after eating lunch I wandered in with the hopes that they'd have Walkers chips for sale and there was much to my surprise an entire wall dedicated to Walkers chips. The sad part was that they didn't have my favorite flavor (bacon) but they did have a few that I've not had before like Prawn Cocktail and Worcester sauce. They even had larger 6 packs of Cheese and Onion as well as a variety pack that includes Cheese and Onion, Salt and Vinegar and Ready Salted. Besides the chips a whole array of other snacks and imported foods can be had here such as a mix of Cadbury and even canned foods. There's a pastry display that has cookies, pastries, pies and even cheeses. I'm never been to England but this store makes me want to go, seriously... What equates to about 16 bags of chips cost me about 17 dollars after tax. The larger 6 pack bags work out to be 5.50 plus tax. I ended up also getting a tin of tiny Rolos but mostly I bought it for the tin. This store is simply "lovely" :)
