I was one of two people there the whole time, they kept me for two hours for something that shouldn't have taken no more than 30 minutes. They told me my insurance covered it but my insurance has come back and said they were out of network. Rather than ever reaching out to me, emailing me, sending a letter, phone call, voicemail. They sent an outrageous bill (apparently nothing was covered by my insurance) to a collection agency. They lied on site about billing practices. Should be named INconvenientMD. I tried checking in online and it kept moving the available times later and later. When my family entered the waiting room, it was completely empty. We got told after we had checked in that the wait time would be two hours. The front desk person was extremely unhelpful and told people who came in after us about a fast pass option. When I asked if we could be added she said we could if we wanted so I said well yes of course I want that. This is the absolute worst and most useless Urgent Care I've ever been to in my life. They are incredibly slow and they don't care at all about you. Not once have they ever helped me in the times I've been. They gave me a shot of Toradol today for an AGONIZING migraine and not having a tailbone and having a SEVERE flair up. I am in so much pain and all that would give me was one shot of Toradol. They wouldn't even give me any painkillers. Then they told me to go to the ER. So what is the point of them? They obviously didn't care and just wanted me out of there. I wonder if they treat everyone like drug addicts? Or maybe it's just me. They couldn't have cared less though. if I could leave zero stars I would workman's comp case had appointment still waited 5 hours and then they wanted my credit card for billing after had insurance info I had to ask for them to do x-rays that's the only way they saw. I had 12 broken ribs came back for the follow up week later our wait again credit card again they refuse to accept my credit card will only take my companies credit card. have begged them to do x-rays again as they still put down broken ribs on the right side and they are on the left. They refuse to do anything no patches won't write. Doctors notes won't send my information to my insurance company for Workmen's Comp. the mail doesn't know what he's doing. I had to teach the female secretary had a fax violation of HIPAA on so many levels worst place ever will not even give myself or my Workmen's Comp. insurance company any information I had to obtain an attorney for them to release to me information on myself and they still have the wrong information read more

If I could give less than 1 I would. Have history of chronic ear infections and called early in the day to see if they accept walk ins. I am also a healthcare provider so has a full caseload getting out at 730p. They said no problem come at that time we take walk ins. Fast forward to 730p, I walk in, completely empty, 1 car in the parking lot. Said they cannot see me, girl at the desk looked super busy on her personal cell phone (HIPAA violation!). I asked if someone could just look at my ear should be quick and they said no. Told me they can't take anymore patients and good luck. Highly do not recommend this place. Poor service. My wife Had ear issues hearing on a Sunday afternoon and thought this clinic could help without an emergency room visit. We were in an out in less than an hour. They even signed me in and fixed mine when i saw how well she was successfully treated. Tech who did work was professional caring and smart. Md who checked in was the same. This morning, it was like a playground with kids jumping on and off furniture while adults on phones. If I felt terrible, I wouldn't want to be there. Plus, it was a 2 hour wait. 1 brought my 7 year old daughter to urgent care at 7:30pm last night. They didn't close till 8pm. She was in horrible pain with her throat. They turned me away because they said they met patient capacity. There was no one in the waiting room or parking lot. They told me to go to their Natick location because it doesn't close until 9pm. When I called them they told me they would not see her either because of patient capacity. They told me I could try their Newton location but can't guarantee they will see me by the time I get there. What is the point of being open until 8pm or 9pm, with no one in there, and still refusing patients? My daughter suffered through the night until I brought her to her doctors in the morning. She has strep. Something that could have been handled quickly at urgent care. I will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I had a really poor experience at this urgent care. I highly recommend the Natick urgent care at 4 Mercer rd instead. To get a prescription sent to my pharmacy, I had to call and stay at the pharmacy for hours. The doctors falsely claimed that they called the pharmacy, but I firsthand saw the pharmacy receive zero calls. Then, when I called with a question, they stated they would call me back once the nurse was free. I unfortunately did not receive any call until I called them back and they again falsely claimed that they had called me (I received no call). Either this place has a faulty phone or their care is truly awful. Either way my experience was awful. read more

I got my 2020 flu shot here without too much of a wait. The process was straightforward. One can save a spot in the queue online. That does not mean that the time selected is the appointment time. It's just a spot in the line. We arrived 10 minutes early as suggested to check in. We were greeted by a staffer who triaged us. We went to the front desk to provide our insurance and identification cards. We were provided some quick paperwork to fill out. We then waited for a little and then were called back a side desk to sign some additional paperwork. After about a 20 minute wait we were called by the nurse to go into a treatment room to get our flu shot. My dad got the age 65 and over vaccine and I got the regular one. Overall a quick, easy, in and out experience as one would expect from an urgent care center. Definitely don't just come as a walk in (they allow) -- get in the queue by going online and register for a time convenient for you. read more

Regarding my post-visit care: I could not reach anyone on the phone for 2 days (called during business hours) regarding my test results. Being unable to reach anyone by phone - I had to return to the office in person to speak to someone. The matter is still unresolved. I was told they were too busy and I would need to wait. Completely brushed off my panic attack after calling to see if they could help me calm down and not be hyperventilating instead of waiting at the ER. I was told yes they could give me a bag of fluids and get my breathing back under control. Given a hard time about my stuffy nose, sinus infection from cleaning out a relatives home but was on antibiotics. Wasn't asked anything about my medical history, allergies, etc. EXCEPT if I was pregnant- which I'm not- were trying but not lucky enough yet. Didn't even fill out paperwork- was demanded my insurance card and co pay. Given a drug test without my consent when I was only made aware of a pregnancy test to be told I failed due to the steroids I just told them about for my sinus infection. Just to be sent home and told to go to the ER for my problems. Also my paperwork for discharge said I was complaining about heart burn with no record of what I tried to tell them. Never will I set foot in a ConvenientMD again because it's anything but convenient. read more

Worst experience we ever had with a medical provider. Got there and there was a sign on the door to call a number and sit in your car and wait. After calling the number and getting through a phone tree I spoke with an MA and the an RN. I mentioned my son briefly passed out and it looked like a posible seizure. She immediately said to take my son the ER. My response was that his pediatrician recommended an urgent care and an EKG. She then said, "if you bring him in here we will call 911". I had gone to this facility 23 days ago for a bad upper respiratory condition. Today, I am much sicker so I went back to their facility. During check in, a young receptionist said to me " you were here recently so they probably can't do anything else to help you." I got up and walked out. This receptionist called me and wanted to know if I left. I told her that the appointment seemed a moot issue since she felt nothing would be done. She answered, " some people decide to stay." I was so upset that a non medical person should triage whether you should stay. I would like to preface this by saying I was an Emergency Room RN for 44 years. In 23 days I could have developed pneumonia, pleurisy or pulmonary embolism. When I got home, I called Elizabeth Kent, the officer manager and told her what transpired. She wished me well in finding another place. Everything is wrong at this Urgent Care where a non medical receptionist can make medical decisions. She should register patients and not say another word! read more

The reason I am deducting two stars is because the doctor who treated me spoke to me as if I am a half-wit. Incredibly poor customer service. Waiting over 10 days for bloodwork results for my son to see if we need to start treatment and no word still. They don't answer voice-mail or attend to your needs at all. Avoid at all costs if you care about your health. They can't be trusted to get anything done as they probably have to many different shift workers for any consistency. read more

My experience with ConvenientMD was exceptional. I could not say anything better about the staff at ConvenientMD. I had been experiencing confusing symptoms of what I now know to almost certainly have been a tickborne illness. Countless doctors, including my psychiatrist, primary care doctor at MGH, nurses at the primary care practice, and the doctors at the Newton-Wellesley emergency room immediately dismissed my concerns because of past psychiatric diagnoses. When my mother convinced me to try ConvenientMD, I was skeptical, having been continually disappointed. The staff at ConvenientMD were friendly and knowledgeable and did not downplay my symptoms as the result of the psychiatric conditions I already have or say that they would miraculously disappear. This was so validating. I would highly recommend ConvenientMD and I intend to go back whenever I need any sort of urgent care in the future. Thank you, ConvenientMD.
