On April 9th of 2026, I went into Acton Urgent Care for chest pain and shortness of breath. Everyone there was RUDE to me; I am not trying to in anyway exaggerate at all. Most surprisingly was the medical assistant who yelled profanities at me while taking my X-Ray. He would scream and overall came off as very pissed off and aggressive. (Manhandled & basically physically moved me) I didn't care for this as my primary objective was to figure out why my lungs were experiencing pain. I do not know what this person would do, and I felt to a certain extent - abused by him. Medical professionals are also supposed to make you feel welcomed and supported through your health issues. However, this was not shown at all through my visit. The woman, who eventually came in to the room didn't seem happy at all. In conclusion, I hated this experience. The people here seem to think that they can behave however they want. There's no point in pursuing a medical career if you can't be fucking respectful. Mind you, I'm not even an adult and this is how they treat people. read more

I went to Acton Urgent Care a few months ago and I was seen by PA Cesar Novoa. The nurses and the front desk staff were professional and courteous. I had a pain in my throat, and I was taken to the room quickly with almost no wait. The nurse checked my vitals, and the PA checked my throat. He was very nice guy and very professional. He sent me home feeling confident that all the sickness would pass quickly. The only thing that I would probably recommend is that they facility looked like it needs to be cleaned better. I took my 87 year old Mom for chest X-ray. My referring physician sent in the order through fax and they took the X-ray based on the order and provided the result. In the result write up they put in the referring doctor as their own doctor whom I have never met. I asked them to put in my referring doctor name not theirs. They not only refused but also said it is illegal to put the referring doctor name in their write-up. In fact, IMHO, it is illegal to have their doctor name as the referring doctor and they are liable. I was trying to reason with him saying that when my referring doctor orders blood test, the report would have referring doctor on the report. The owner was very rude and not willing to listen. I wonder what happened to the concept: the customer is always right. read more

My husband had a bad and very scary experience on July 4. He came to Acton Urgent Care with a strong chest pain and weakness. His vitals showed accelerated pulse and lowered blood pressure. The provider who attended him made him do a COVID test, although he had informed her that he had had COVID a month earlier. The test came back negative, and she sent him home with an antiacid, saying that "it probably is a virus". No EKG, no blood test, no X-Ray - nothing! He kept feeling really bad for the rest of the day and ended up in the ER with a suspicion of a heart attack. His EKG done in the hospital was bad, and the ER team could not believe he had been seen by a doctor earlier and was sent home without an EKG, because his symptoms and demographic (male in his 60-s) were very suggestive of a heart attack. Luckily, after a battery of tests and overnight stay in the hospital it turned out he had a different heart-related problem, less dangerous than a heart attack but still needing immediate medical attention, according to the doctors. I am writing this in hope that it will get attention of the Acton Urgent Care management and in the future will save someone from getting seriously hurt or dead. This urgent care is hands down the best urgent care I have ever been to. I had hurt my neck and could not get to my primary care doctor for several days. I called over to Acton Urgent Care to see if they had any openings, and they did. Setting up the appointment was super easy online, and they had a lot of options. When I got to my appointment, the staff were terrific. They gave a thorough exam and took X-rays. They made sure I had a copy of everything to take to my doctor and made sure I had meds until my appointment. It could not have been a more effortless experience. I highly recommend it! read more

I went in with a cold. My purpose was to find out if I had strep throat. They were certain I didn't when I left but my vitals were high. The follow up phone call confirmed I don't have strep which is fine, but don't tell me I'm not sick. read more

I just went in to get steroids for a bad case of poison ivy and the lady at the desk was very helpful, helped me find my insurance info which took a little digging through emails, got me covered with a $40 co-pay, saw the doctor within 10 minutes and was on my way to the pharmacy to get my medication. I can't testify to any more complicated medical procedures but for what I needed it was super easy, quick and cheap. read more

I hate to rate this office as one star but I'm so upset that the receptionist turned my child away at 7:40, claiming they only take patients who arrive by 7:30. I would have understood it if there was a line or if a couple of people waiting, but the office was desolate. Why would you post your hours as 8:00 is that isn't true? Our family of 5 have all walked in on 2-3 separate occasions for Covid tests at various times due positive tests some of us have had. At their busiest time with over 20 people standing in line outside the door and 12 people waiting in the waiting room (that has changed), their employees behind the desk and seeing patients remained kind, pleasant and kept their composure. They call back with results quickly and never seem to make you feel they are in a rush or have too many others to tend to. Thank you!! read more

Totally ridiculous! They advertise rapid Covid testing and they accept all insurance! I mad an appointment online...waited all day for 2pm only to be told "that'll be $150.00 out of pocket". I went here after getting a foreign object stuck in my eye after a walk on a trail. I visited the ER but it was full of COVID patients and the wait was long so my boyfriend tried calling Acton urgent care before heading over to make sure I could be seen. No one answered the phone. Google said they closed at 8 so we head over and get there by 7:35. As I'm walking in the receptionist yells at me they aren't taking anymore patients before I even fully get inside. I explain that I have something stuck in my eye and ask if I could just be seen quickly as I know a professional could probably get it out in a matter of seconds. She then goes on to tell me that I'd have to fill out paper work and there just isn't enough time. Ok... not urgent at all then. Also such rude customer service. Like just say you close at 7:30 if you refuse to see anyone after that. I would never suggest this place to anyone after being treated that way in a stressful situation. read more

Even though they get you in quickly and the on-site staff are friendly, I cannot recommend Acton Urgent Care at all. I've had so many billing errors and inability to reach them at all over the phone that I'll soon need to sue them. Once, after already receiving a $150 bill from them and another $200 lab bill for a UTI, they billed me yet another $80 dollars with no explanation of what it was for. It took multiple calls and phone tag to find out, only to be told it was a mistake and I don't need to pay it. However, I received no statement with a zero balance. Another issue is that their "bills" are so cursory, with barely any info needed to submit a medical claim. And good luck getting the full transcript you need to submit the claim. I've emailed them so many times over the past few month at BOTH email addresses they provided, talked to the receptionists multiple times, played phone tag, and dropped off a stern letter in person, only to try to ask 1. can they help me file my claim? 2. can they update my file with my new insurance? and 3. can they send transcripts for my visits so I can file claims? It should absolutely not be this hard. They have a Utah billing department and blame them for all their problems, like good cop/bad cop. The final kicker was that when I finally got my transcripts, one had the completely wrong diagnosis - I did NOT have COVID-19 that day. So now, I'm spending weeks trying to get them to correct that. We had a very bad experience with a physician assistant Cesar Novoa. My spouse came to the clinic with fever, acute headache (to the point of hiding eyes from the light), acute pain in throat, chest, abdomen, and kidneys; threw up several times during the medical exam. We asked Cesar Novoa a few questions, and Cesar Novoa started yelling and insulting us. Other personnel and patients could hear everything because the door was open, and he was yelling of the top of his lungs. After that, he left the room without even saying what was coming next. In my honest opinion, Cesar Novoa must be banned from practicing any level of medicine. I will not be surprised if Cesar Novoa has a history of similar complaints in previous workplaces, and we will probably see more complaints from Acton residents on this page. Avoid going to the clinic when he is in. Trust me you do NOT need this for your own money. read more

We took my mother here for a Covid test in early March. In late April they charged her credit card $250 and also sent a bill for an additional $44. My mother did not see a clinician--just had a test--but she was charged for both an office visit and a test. read more

I went to have a bandaid on my back changed a few times because I couldn't reach it, and I was assured my insurance would cover it. They hounded me for payment of $200!!! To change a bandaid! Dr.Bajwa and his team are inviting, efficient and provide excellent care. Bedside manner is important and Dr.Bajwa makes an effort to meet his patients and ensure they leave knowledgeable about their diagnosis next steps and prescriptions. The whole staff is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable in the office. I have visited here twice - each time I was seen right away and left within 20 minutes! read more

This Urgent care has the most attentive and professional staff. A good Doctor that will have you rest assured and confident with your concerns and issues minimal or complex is taken care in a fast and efficient manner. Time waiting is so minimal that everyone can enjoy the rest of their day. I did not need an appointment or referral necessary for expert care.
