If you want the 20% off for first time customer then make sure you say something when you drop off your item (even though that's not when you pay). It's designed that way so you don't end up getting the discount. Pretty shady business strategy **update- I even showed him my phone and showed him how there is no fine print or information showing about "asking for the discount when you drop off the items". I needed to have patches taken off a shirt and put onto a robe (retirement gift). I dropped the clothes off on Monday and spoke with Amir. He was extremely helpful. I came back the next day to give them different patches to use because I had a change of heart and they were already finished with it! I had three pair of pants (cuffed linen trousers and 2 pair of capris) that required alterations. The trousers and capris required having the waist taken in and the trousers required a flat seat adjustment. I wanted to retain the cuffs, too. I went to Continental Cleaners for the alterations based on Yelp user reviews. I also took a blouse for cleaning that had sentimental value to my wife. I went to Continental on February 2 for a fitting and to drop off the blouse. I needed the pants back on February 9 because I wanted to take them on a trip abroad on February 12. All of the alterations were done in time (I picked all up on February 2, as promised) and were very professionally finished for a very reasonable cost. The blouse came out fine as well. I had a full men's suit that needed tailoring. Great results with quick turnaround time (~1 week). Staff are flexible and professional. I recommend their services. I will be back for future fittings. I called them on a Tuesday afternoon to give them a heads-up that I'd be there, I showed up several minutes later with the suit & some dress shoes, and they took me in with no issues. While pinning my suit, they told me their recommended alterations, which was very helpful. I opted to do all their recommendations + have the suit pressed, paid with card (~$100, which was pretty fair), and they said they'd have it done next Friday. However, I found out later the same day that I would need the suit sooner than that. I called them to let them know, they understood, and they said they'd have it ready by next Wednesday. The next week rolled around, and I got a text on Tuesday afternoon that my suit was ready. That was quick. I showed up, Amir pulled the suit off the rack and asked me if I'd like to try it on before leaving, which I appreciated - saved me from having to ask. Red wine gone! I had a terrible red wine spill on my white coat and pink top. It was really bad and the fabrics were not typical or easy to clean. 8.11.16: Um can we say what??? Hidden Cleaners with great customer service for sure! I brought a dress here that I wanted to wear on my special day. The dress I bought was from ebay and of course came in from the mail with bunch of creases. Walked in and Amir looked at the dress and mentioned he was able to turn it around the next day. SWEET! He gave me a $5 discount since it was over a certain amount. I didn't think anything of it, i just hope they can get the creases out. I think I paid $25. So the next day I went to get my dress and it was prefect. The lady mentioned it was a really nice dress and it looks custom made. I told her it's from China. So it probably was. She notice a few flaws and mentioned she helped me cut some strings here and there. That was nice of her. I didn't get introduced to her she was just at the sewing machine giving me information. She seemed so knowledgeable that I preceded to ask her about moving the pads on the dress. Since the top is see through I was afraid that the thread will show once the pads are removed. She assure me she can do it no problem. I think I was charged $10 for it. So the next day I went to get my dress. It was perfect. I can't see the threads at all in the see through top portion of the dress. I'm super duper happy! I will definitely come here again for tailoring needs and dry cleaning. read more

Oh my goodness. This place is my favorite. I bought a dress for the Miss Poway pageant that needed about 6 inches off the hem and the train needed a bustle. I went in and they were very thorough with measurements and making sure it looked right. I went in halfway through to try it on for them and get the bustle measurements. Amir and his wife are just a wonderful couple and good people. Prior to them owning this establishment - I went to this dry cleaning place for years when it was owned by an older Asian lady. In 2014 I moved back to Poway and automatically went back to this place. Amir greeted me with this big smile ...I was surprised to see a different face but I learned from Amir that the previous owner passed....I was sad especially since I went here since 2000 (when I lived in Poway/Scripps Ranch). My husband and I LOVE this place! Amir and his wife are just amazing! A couple of times we asked for a last minute request on hemming not just 1 pair of pants but 3 pairs and they did not disappoint! I have been coming to the Continental Cleaners for many years. The past owners were okay but, when Amir and Pola became the owners a few years back they improved the place. And, they're consistent with their hours of operation before and during this Pandemic. I've found them to be really nice people and they operate a very good business for the dry cleaning and laundering of my clothes. I moved away from the Poway area, months ago but, I still have all my cleaning done here because they do very good dry cleaning.
