Quick turnaround and solid job. I had a pair of work pants taken in at the waist and needed them in 24 hours (for an interview) and they delivered! It is a cash only place so I had to leave and get cash when I went to pick up since they didn't say anything in advance. read more

I had 20+ badges sewn on a jersey. Quality and price were top notch! Will definitely use them again. read more

I've been a Bobi's client for years. The ladies have always taken care of me, on a pinch, and super rushed alterations, if needed. Prices are reasonable, but it's their hardworking long hours opened that I appreciate. No service can always be perfect, but they have always put their best efforts. Thank you. read more

Fixed my dress in the best ways. Definitely will go back! From sleeves to hem to taking it in, the dress felt great. read more

I called and told them my issue and asked for the price. They're one of the more reasonable ones despite the fact that I needed a dress fixed by the next day. There's plenty of parking, so you don't need to worry about that. I was a little confused about where it was. Turns out you need to go down the stairs from the parking lot and walk past the smoke shop. read more

Lady was nice and friendly. She charges very reasonable price and is able to tailor clothes within fast turnaround.

Been going to Bobi for years. Had to have some shorts taken in, and she charges $25 each. Her prices are high, but she does good work. Recently, I went in with a pair of shorts and a pair of gym leggings. She was going to charge me $30 to take the shorts in and $50 to alter the waist of the leggings so they don't slide down. This was astronomical, as neither item cost as much as her alterations! I won't be going back because it's unaffordable. read more

I have been a patron of Bobbis for over 20 years. I have never had any issues. The clothing alterations and repairs have always been done perfectly. Please don't be discouraged by their humble shop. The staff are kind, and efficient. They have a "Cash Only" policy. There is an ATM in the upper parking lot. I highly recommend Bobbi's Tailoring. Their prices are very reasonable. read more

I came here on a recommendation from a friend. I needed to get my bridesmaids dress hemmed, they did great work, and it was done in a timely manner! I paid $65 which was a far better rate than David's Bridal. Would highly recommend this place, please note it's cash only! read more

All fixed we done from dress the mens pants - all timely and good price. No job is too difficult and does simple things very well. Highly recommend read more

I asked to get thick cargo pants from Aritzia hemmed here - it was so fast & affordable!! It is all cash which is no biggie. This shop is zero frills and straight efficiency! The place is an organized mess. Dropped the pants off and got them around 24 hours after. I didn't have to give a phone number or a name, I walked in and after seeing my face, the worker went and grabbed my pants. I love these kinds of businesses because they're fast, efficient and affordable. This will be my go-to spot in sd! read more

I brought vintage Levi's to have the waist taken in. The belt loop was moved and the Levi's leather patch was removed from my jeans! They look awful. They could not find my patch and told me to leave my jeans and they would find it eventually. I told them I lived far away and they didn't care. My other pair of Levi's (brand new with tags on) had the tag made smaller and it was hanging off the jeans. That pair they were able to sew the tag on after I pointed it out. The merchant only takes cash, which is not prominently displayed. read more

Bobi is very helpful and understanding. She got my jacket tailored just in time for some holiday events.

If youve never stepped foot in here before, it looks like gay terrorists stuffed an IED full of sequin-covered prom dresses and pinstriped dress slacks then detonated that sucker whilst enjoying a boba drink from Sharetea above. Despite the chaos, Bobi has a system, of sorts, and manages to pump out alterations at an inhuman pace. She may very well be a robot. Fast, trusty and reasonably priced, Bobi is my go-to for anything held together by thread. Just allow an extra 5 to 10 minutes when you pick your order up for her to find it amongst the debris created by the aforementioned clothing bomb. read more

I've been coming here for years. Prices are super affordable and the quality is excellent. Don't be intimidated by the clutter in the store but the owner has her system to the organized chaos. She has quick turn around times read more

Ok I've been bringing my alterations here for 25 years so it's high time I leave a review. I'm pretty short so much of what I buy gets tailored. I can't think of a single time I've been disappointed. It's always exactly how it should be and always by the date I ask to pick up. It's not fancy by any means. It's her workshop. But she seems to have a system that works for her perfectly. Thank for always making my clothes perfect. Even when I ask you to hem my dresses too sort and you tell me "Too short" and you're right P.S. You have to pay with cash read more

Love this place. Have been coming here for a long time now. They are ALWAYS busy there. I lift this business up got their hard work. I 100% support them and appreciate them for all the help they have been for me. They are friendly, straight to the point, and fast! I also admire their expertise, and knowledge on how to get things done. Every time I have shown up to pick up my clothes have been ready. Thank you so much everyone!!! read more

I've been going to Bobi's for years. She's very good at hemming anything and altering sizes.

So glad we found this place! Co is really amazing and talented at her trade. Prices are reasonable and she has a quick turnover time. Very hard worker and you can tell she cares about each piece brought to her. She helped tailor my wedding dress, my girls dresses and my husbands suit. She even added sleeves to my daughters dress that look seamlessly part of the dress! Thank you! read more

I got my maid of honor dress tailored here two years ago for my sister's wedding. And came back again with my mom and sister for their dresses for my wedding this year! Their prices are affordable and she will be honest with what she thinks is necessary for you to get done! read more

They did an amazing job on a prom dress! They were reliable and very affordable. I will use them again!

A great well priced tailor. Adjusted the length of my bridesmaid dress for $35. Was happy with the price and quality. The parking is plentiful though you do have to walk downstairs to find the shop. The look of the shop is a bit overwhelming messy... But as long as they are on time and fair I'm ok with that. read more

This place is a LIFESAVER!!! I realized the night before my flight to a wedding that the zipper on my bridesmaid's dress was broken. I arrived in the store about 10 minutes before closing and the lady who was working stayed more than an hour after closing time to fix my dress. She was so nice and I do not know what I would have done if she hadn't been willing to stay after hours to fix my dress! read more

Worst experience ever. Never coming back. Stuff wasn't ready, she snaps at you and doesn't provide the service she charges for.

Bobi is amazing!! Came here for a last minute tailor on my bridesmaid dress. She didn't everything very fast and I received it the next day!! At a very good price too. It is a bit messy when you come in... But that's just the way Bobi does it! (: she gets the job done. read more

Everybody in the community knows about Bobi's Tailoring. The work they do is stellar, quick, and affordable. From dresses and suit alterations to sewing on scout patches, this place can do anything! This place is messy (see photo i uploaded) but she gets the job done and at a veryyyy reasonable price!! Not sure if she sleeps there but whatever she does...she always meets the deadline and normally closes at 6 but every time i've been there around 7, she is still there. A little febreeze would help freshen up the place but i'm not gonna be picky, woman is so helpful and nice, I'd recommend this to everyone! CASH ONLY ***** read more

Bobi's Tailoring - don't be scared away!! She actually does a great job - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - San Diego, California

Been going here for 20+ years, was always very reasonable and good work. Now under ownership prices skyrocketed and work has gone downhill.

This tailoring shop is good, but you have to be specific with what alterations you need. Make sure you get your precise measurements and try on your altered items when you pick up. The store is a bit messy, and the fitting rooms dark with not-so-clean looking carpets, but I get my alterations done right every time. They charge slightly more than other tailoring places and you can easily spend $70-$100 for 5-6 items. CASH ONLY folks, so come pick up your items prepared. read more

I come here for most of my tailoring/altering needs and they all do such a great job. It's a little messy in there but if they can work around it and find your things, I'm not hating. Everyone is different. The owner is a sweet lady who gets me in and out within a couple of minutes. I like that! My fiancé drops off his wide shirts to get them taken in and every one of them look and fit great! If you need a rushed service, just ask them if it's possible and they'll tell you what's up. I love coming here because they are not too far from where I live and it's also right off the freeway. read more

I read about Bobbi on Yelp first, then decided to go there based upon the reviews. Bobbi made my wedding dress alterations perfectly. She changed a tea-length, poofy David's Bridal dress into my sleek, above the knee wedding dress. She is wonderful. She listened, measured and re-measured, and did exactly what I asked. The fit was perfect. She can run behind, as other reviews have noted, the shop can look crazy, as other reviews have noted. But who can argue with great prices and great results. Yay Bobbi's Tailoring!! read more

I had a very good experience with Bobi! She nicely altered the length of my prom dress, which was very intricate with sequins, and did it for half the price of other tailors! I came in a week from when I needed the dress by, and she had it done by our agreed upon time. read more

This woman may seem like she has a lot on her hands. But one thing for certain is she is great with remembering your face. It is amazing. She knows exactly where your clothes are when she sees you. She won't talk much. She just acts on it and works. Good woman, good service. Go there! Weird plaza - park above and walk down below along the blvd... read more

I really liked what she did to my dress, but I thought it was very pricey... I just asked her to shorten bottom of my dress and she charged me 18 dollars..? errrr.. makes me want to learn sewing as my hobby.. jk :) But the lady did a good job so not going to complain much :) read more

Super convenient and a few minutes away from me. They altered my chiffon multilayered bridesmaids dress. Did a great job. Standard price for a chiffon hem. Wedding was about a week out and they got it done for me pretty quick! I'd definitely come back for any other tailoring needs. read more

The tailoring was done at the agreed upon time, at the agreed upon price and it was done to the proper measurements. 3 pairs of jean hems. However, when I went to pick them up, this place is SUPER unorganized. There is just stuff everywhere, and there is zero system to it. It took them about 5 minutes just to find my 3 pairs of jeans, and then when they gave them back to me, they just handed them to me in one big ball. I gave them to them folded and recently pressed. For 24 bucks for 3 hems, they should have been neartly folded after a quick steam or iron if necessary, or hung preferably. Now I have to take them home and make them not look like a wad of trash with deeeeeo wrinkles. It's almost like the did the work on Wednesday when I took them in, and left them crumbled up in a ball till Saturday when I picked them up. I would go back because the work was done right, but I would let them know how I expect it to be taken care of. read more

I come here every once in a while for small things like getting buttons replaced or patches sewn on costumes or sports jerseys. It's typically around $5 for each small job and I've never had issues with their quality of work or turn around time. They usually schedule with you to come back and pick it up within a couple days but they are willing to work with you if you need it sooner. I will say that the shop looks really messy in the back but I suppose there's a method to their madness as they've never misplaced any of my dropped off items. read more

I had some suit pants that needed to be taken in. My friend recommended Bobi's Tailor. The cost was $15/pant (cash only). Brought them in on Thursday and picked up on Saturday (2 day turnaround). Pants fit perfectly. The owner was friendly and appreciated my business. I'll be a return customer. It would have been a a five star rating, but you have to walk down a flight of stairs from parking lot to the store. Also, cash only was inconvenience for me. read more
