He looks ready to help and answer any questions, but he minds his business and doesn't pester customers. My chips got stuck in the vending machine here lol and the manager here opened the machine to give them to me, so I was grateful for that. A single load costs $3.25 and a triple load costs about $4, and everything is paid by quarters here so make sure to bring cash or your coins. There's no option to pay with card in the machines. There are a few chairs and tables for you to rest at while you wait for your laundry so you could even bring a snack here and eat, if you're hungry. Parking is easy here since this laundromat has about 10 spots in the back. You can access the lot by going into an alley off Howard Avenue. It's peaceful, cost-efficient and hassle-free here so I really recommend you do your laundry here

My first error was choosing this place from the beginning. The second, was trusting the owner with my maid of honor suit. The third, was paying him (more like being ripped off) for damaging my suit and falsely advertising his professional services. The intent of my review serves as a warning to folks hoping to get their clothing altered to their heart's delight and to shine a light onto the lack of professionalism, terrible service, and incompetent skills/experience of the owner, Edris. Please, stay away! To start off, save your money and find a different establishment/tailor to alter your clothing! This dude does NOT know what he's doing, especially for the exorbitant amount he charges! I suspect he may be scamming folks. You should consider contributing your money towards a business that deserves it, staff you can trust, and for peace of mind knowing that your clothing won't be destroyed. When I initially called Edris, he had told me via phone that he would be able to alter my suit within 48 hours. Since the wedding I was attending was just a week away and I was in a time crunch, I committed too preemptively. I was initially relieved that I had found a tailor that could alter my suit in such a short time. Boy oh boy, I hadn't a clue the heartbreak and disappointment I'd experience in just a few days. Four days later (outside of the 48 hour window I was initially told), I arrived to B Street Cleaners with my suit, excited to have it altered to my heart's delight. The fitting seemed lackluster. Edris didn't really seem to care about fitting my suit in a way that aligned with my body. He stuck some pins in a few places and would say "that's good" To which I'd respond, "no" and give him direction on what I wanted. I had specifically asked that my suit be tailored to form-fit my body, as it was visibly too baggy/large on me. He didn't take any measurements and didn't alter the suit in a way that fit my body. He seemed to do the bare minimum and it was as if he had never altered a suit before. This should've been the red flag warning me to take my suit and walk out the door. Ultimately, I claim responsibility in making a poor choice in trusting Edris with my wedding suit. However, he is accountable for destroying my suit AND - the cherry on top - leaving a blood stain on the inside of my jacket. He didn't disclose that information nor did he even make an attempt to clean it when I picked it up. And ot course, I didn't notice it until I flew back home and tried it on for my family to see. This was absolutely disturbing and I was appalled that someone who calls themselves a professional didn't even try to fix or mitigate this risky and hazardous mistake. Edris ruined and destroyed my suit with his lousy alterations. Rather than doing what I had asked and what was agreed upon (to have my pants shortened/hemmed from the bottom and to have my jacket shortened & form-fitted so it didn't look so baggy), he made unauthorized alterations. Instead of hemming them from the bottom, he shortened my pants from the crotch/inseam. So much so, that when I tried them on, the seat rode up my buttocks and the pants were incredibly uncomfortable. As a professional, who does that?!? There's no worse thing than to have a wedding suit destroyed and made unwearable, and that was the experience I had after taking my suit to B Street Cleaners. Also, if you happen to be someone in the LGBTQ+ community, I STRONGLY encourage you to go elsewhere, as you may face the risk of having your clothing intentionally ruined. I don't understand how a business that has HUNDREDS of five-star reviews, produces this kind of horrible work and service. Please save yourself the headache, the heartbreak, and from being ripped off/scammed. There are plenty of other tailors out there who will grant you your monies worth, and adjust your clothing to fit your form and make look beautiful.

I had dropped off a suit jacket to be cleaned about a week before Thanksgiving, and I needed to pick it up over the holiday weekend for a work trip. When I showed up at the shop, I was disappointed to see that they were closed. But then I saw the lady who works there through the window, and she let me in even though they were technically closed. She remembered me from my previous visit and helped me pick up my suit, which was a huge relief. I really appreciated her going out of her way to accommodate me, especially since I was the one who had waited until the last minute to pick up my stuff.
