Excellent service. Prices for dry clean seems to be appropriate. I did dry clean for 2 coats which is $35 each, which is the running price for most places, and considering they use organic solution. I also dry cleaned 2 sweaters for which the total came out to $92.10. Turn around time was great! I dropped it off the day before Thanksgiving and for those 4 items, i was able to get it by Monday late afternoon. The presentation of the finished products were impressive. Everything was nicely situated around the hangers covered in plastic garment covering. I went in with a cocktail dress to have it cleaned and they stated it was going to cost $60. When I responded $60 are you serious, the response I got was "I'm the owner tell me how much you want to pay" my response was I have no idea but $60 seems Way too high I pointed to a flannel jacket behind her and asked how much does that cost to get dry cleaned she responded $6. At that point I said how about $20 for the dress and she said $40. Clearly they don't have standard pricing, making up prices as they go. Shooting for a high of $60 for a simple dress and proceeding to negotiate, sort of. I left feeling like she was Really just trying to rip me off with A incredibly high and unreasonable price for dry cleaning. Seems dishonest and unethical to me, so buyer beware. After my Google review I received a response that was riddled with lies. I did not randomly try to negotiate the $60 price to $20. I was told by the manager, and I quote " I am the manager, tell me how much you want to pay" There was also Never a senior discount mentioned as said in the response The dress was not fancy, it was a simple, semi formal cocktail dress. So not only are they unethical with the pricing, But they also flat out lie. The only reason I said $20 was because she asked me. I am very familiar with dry cleaning and prices, decided to try somewhere new, my mistake. I did find an establishment to clean my dress for the cost of $25. Response to your response on yelp... Of course you disagree with what I said because you're sticking to your lie. There was never a mention of any sort of discount, so what you're saying is $60 was the discounted price? There were no beads on my dress so you must have me confused with someone else. You should really have your facts in order before responding. The owner of this place is incredibly rude. I was trying to inquire about the cost of cleaning my new essentials hoodie, and he responded with an outrageous price of $53. When I expressed my concerns, he simply dismissed my worries, claiming that it was his decision and he could charge whatever he wanted. To make matters worse, after I tried to negotiate a lower price, he demanded that I move my car out of his 10-minute parking space. He claimed that if I wasn't actually going to be a customer, I had no right to park there. When I explained that I was indeed a customer and that the price was unreasonable, he threatened to call a tow truck on me. The prices for shirts have been reasonably for the most part but when I went back to pick to up everything the total was almost $100 dollar. The price for getting the Indian outfit was more then the outfit itself. Even the lady behind the counter was shocked on how much the owners charged. I was very disappointed and a bit upset. If I knew it was going to cost that much I would have skip it. Be upfront with the cost specially if your are going to do the work an add a higher then normal cost. Had a suit I needed dry cleaned w/ a 24-hour turnaround. I reached out to six different dry cleaners via Yelp (all claiming to offer same-day service) and Poway Cleaning Club is the ONLY ONE that got back to me! Remarkable. I still have not heard from any of the others, three days later. They did a great job and got the suit back to me in time. My only feedback note is that I was given a quote of $2 flat rate during our Yelp chat, but when I took the suit in I was charged $30. I didn't think $2 was accurate, but that's a huge jump that I was not expecting! Probably could work on giving more accurate quotes in the future. read more

My daughter had her school prom coming and waited until the last minute to get her dress hemmed. I called and they said that they could do it in one week, which is great because we only had 2 weeks left. I brought in my daughter with the dress for a measurement and they needed to take about 2-3 inches from the bottom because it was too long. I was asked if it had any special material or a slip because that would cost more. I told her that it was simple hem with no special material and was as basic as could be. She didn't want to confirm a price until after she did the work, which was a red flag because I should have confirmed before leaving the dress. I thought that it wouldn't cost that much because it had a simple look with no extras needed. I came to pick up the dress and it was sown well but the problem was that they wanted $80 for a basic hem job. I explained that that is how much the dress cost and is way too much. The owner said that his wife wasn't there and that was the charge. I explained to him how easy the dress was to work with and that it didn't even have a slip but that didn't matter. I remember the former owner being reasonably priced so I dropped off a pashmina to be dry cleaned. The lady said it would be $15. A bit more than I would have liked to spend but ok. Just picked it up and it was $24! The gentleman was courteous and explained that it was extra large. The initial lady should have mentioned that. Maybe I am out of touch with dry cleaning prices. I think I've found a really great dry cleaner. They don't use the cheap petroleum-based solvents that most dry cleaners rely on--instead, they use a silicone-based solvent that costs four to five times more. I don't fully understand what that means, but the quality of the dry cleaning, especially for suits and dresses, seems noticeably better than other places. The prices are reasonable too. read more

Be aware that this location is under new ownership. DO NOT DO YOUR ALTERATIONS HERE. They do not actually do alterations on site and contract the workout to another seamstress, however, they will take your measurements at the store. This process is horrible is you will not get correct measurements. Had them do a simple seam on my pants and they came out too long. Also, my sister brought her dress here brand new for a wedding and The dress was altered in a way that it would no longer fit her. When when we discuss this with the owner, he refused to take any responsibility and blamed the seamstress, mind you that they contract the workout too which they never disclosed before. They ruined a garment and only returned the alteration cost. Will never come here again. read more

Found our new local dry cleaners.. Located in a little plaza (right by Wingstop on Poway Rd.) Upon walking in, the inside is very clean and open (which I loved). I was kindly greeted by Gina.. Price value seemed appropriate- button ups are about $7, jeans are about $8.. Things to note- you pay up front (this was new to me), your receipt will be emailed to you and First time customers get 10% off when you check in on Yelp (although I think Gina forgot to give me the discount as I don't see it on the receipt). This place was a God-send! I dropped some dry cleaning off at 1pm last week and it was ready by 5pm the following day. When I initially heard the quick turn-around time, I was a little hesitant but went in as a last resort due to an overseas trip a couple of days later. My previous dry cleaner used to also offer a quick turn-around time, but my clothes would be returned to me with the same stains and spots they went in with. I would not take my clothes there. I've been going there for 3 months in that time they lost 3 of my shirts the manager swore up and down, that I pick them up. I received a phone call 15 min later from him saying that he found them. The first week I took my clothes there I had 8 shirts and I picked up 8 shirts, after taken them home found one shirt wasn't mine, I took the one shirt back and told the manager he needed to find my other shirt he disagrees with me of course. Then it happens again today 3/14/2023 I took the shirt back and said I need for you to find my shirt he basely said it's my fault. Then I met Michael at Poway Cleaning Club. He's a geniune customer service oriented business owner who is going the extra mile. Poway Cleaning Club is in the same parking lot as Don Pollo (where I noticed a few fliers) and Pappy's Barber Shop - Poway (where I met Michael getting a haircut) and the ("When is it going to open?" Wingstop). After basically paying the cost for a new t-shirt to clean a jacket only to have it needing a redo... I felt like Poway Cleaning Club is calling me. Signs are there. Come try PC2. The best part is finding out it is only $3.50 per piece not per section of your item! I dropped off a couple of items a bit later than the same day return required and managed to chat with Michael and watch his customer oriented skills in action. Looking good! The day I return to pick up the items, Michael is there again as well as a couple of pickup clients and new ones. His skills still shine! I'm used to spending double digits with cleaners and having items airing out in the garage upon return. Self doubt begins to creep to the forefront. I can't wait and quickly remove the plastic. Whoa! No weird chemical smells! I take a close look at the jacket. It looks brand new! How do they do this? My items smell like they were hand washed with love and air dried in the fresh country sunshine. This place is very expensive. But the gentleman who took in my corduroy men's shirt, knit dress, and graduation gown (that required minor pressing only) last Thursday and returned them today when I picked them up told me that they currently have no price list!! Is that legal? I was pretty darn surprised at the price when I walked out last week and was very surprised to see that their were no prices listed on either my credit card receipt or his green cleaner receipt. So he just charges whatever he feels like?? The clothes seem clean and the gown well pressed, but I do not deal with establishments that have no posted prices or don't even have the ability to tell you the price!! I would suggest that you ask before you leave anything to be dry cleaned, or, better yet, find another honest dry cleaner. I had come in here, had two dresses which I wanted dry cleaned ( yes with beads.) They were charging me $120 for each (?) They were not wedding dresses ok. Yet she wanted to charge me $120 for each attire?!! She asked for me to pay in advance. That was $240 for both? She also told me to look elsewhere and that they would charge me the same. Me being naive left ONLY one dress which was beaded. I paid her $120. I told her I would think about the other attire first. So on a different day, I saw another dry cleaner. I asked how much it would be for my attire which I did not have cleaned with the prior business, ( this is a 2 piece - a formal blouse and pants.) He told me $22 for both the blouse & pants! While the first place was charging me $120?!?!!! When I picked up my dress from here, I shared with her my story. She forgot her story and told me a different one. I am amazed! I want to give my wedding dress to my niece for her wedding next year. My dress had been sitting in the closet for over 15 years. I guess I didn't notice the stains on it before I tucked it away (I know, I know, you're supposed to clean it BEFORE storage, but it was a simple dress purchased from Nordstrom, and I never expected I'd do anything with it).
