They've patched my holes in jeans, dry cleaned my uniform, preserved and clean my Filipino dress wear to perfection... they are an anchor in this Rancho Peñasquitos Town Center. A recent involved needing a one-day turnaround to which I happen to forget that they close early the following day. I called to no avail and then a few moments later, I got a call back and said they'd wait for me. It was a random chance but I got there within 3 minutes and retrieved my dry cleaning. Thank you again. All dry cleaners have become relatively expensive compared to years ago but it's the service that makes this one my local favorite. Never use this service. Horrible service. They don't keep their promise. I asked for zipper replacement for my jacker. It took forever. After completing the service (took a couple of months for this), I realized dry cleaning was not done. The drop off the same jacket right back for dry cleaning and asked for timely service within a week due to upcoming trip. Before the trip I dropped by to pick up my jacker but the owner did not finish dry cleaning. I asked him to find my jacker because I needed for the trip but he said he could not locate it. I have been going here for 15+ years. Charlie is a gem. I have always gotten my clothes done on time and without any problems. I have had several things altered that I've been very pleased with. Additionally, I have had 3 beloved old sweaters with tears that they have very artistically repaired with matching yarn. I recently have started to use the assistance of a cane, and Charlie has has been taking out and hanging my laundry in my car. Super nice folks here. When it's an order that might take me two trips to the car, one of the staff has helped me carry my dry cleaning to my car. They've done that twice for me! We bring our clothes every three weeks or so, and the last time, I didn't have a coupon (though I always have the card where you rack up discounts after you spend enough.) They freely told me that I can always go to MoneyMailer.com online and enter their name or search 92129 zip code and print their 20% off coupons there if I don't get one in the mail. Gotta love that. Parking can be tricky as it's a busy shopping area. On those days, since they are fast, I've seen other patrons park at the curb. I haven't needed to do that yet, but will if I can't get a spot. An update: Jan 2014: they successfully removed an oil diffuser spill stain that I thought ruined my fave comforter and cover. They saved it!!! That made me up my rating from 4 star to 5 star! read more

They're good at what they do. They haven't stapled one of my shirts like that other place in PQ. I've not used their tailor, so this is about dry cleaning. I'm being generous with the 2 stars because the dry cleaning itself was good. Really, I'd be happy after my last visit with zero stars. Generally, I had been bringing 3 shirts each time I came (about 1x a week), and the total was always under $10. One day, because my husband had gone out of town, he only needed me to take one shirt. A man came to the counter that time, where always before it had been one of 3 ladies. Anyway, he gave me the total, almost $3 and I went to hand him my credit card. (I rarely have cash.) He raised his voice and said, "You can't pay with a card. This is under $10! I cannot take this card. You need to give me cash." I told him he could have the $1 in my purse but that I don't carry cash and that there is no sign stating such, and that always before I'd paid with this very same card for under $10. He said, very rudely, "I cannot accept a credit card." I told him he could not hold my shirt hostage because I was trying to pay him, he does accept credit cards, and he does not have a sign explaining this new policy. He told me it's not a new policy and that they are charged more for less than $10. And having been a business owner myself, I know that's not entirely how it works. They are charged a % based on the charge and it has a minimum fee (cents). They should start using Square who has no minimum. I told him he was free to hit me with an extra 50 cents if he needed to (which well covers their fee) but that I needed my shirt and would take it. He huffed that this once he would but said that next time I need to bring cash. I told him there wouldn't be a next time, paid, grabbed my shirt, and left. So, if you don't generally carry around a wad of cash, and you only have a few shirts, don't go here. If you don't appreciate rude, very tall men yelling at lady customers, don't go here. If you don't appreciate company policies that change on the whim of whoever is working the counter, don't go here. Bottom line, it was fine until the jerk of a man was at the counter. There are a few dry cleaners around this area, and yes i did try them all. Between the wifey and I, our dry cleaning pile up pretty quickly. Fast, convenient, never missed the ready date ever--- definitely a plus. Also, they have this frequent reward program that gets you 10% off. Try it and you'll like. Dry cleaning services are generally good over the past few years I've been using them. The gentleman is very nice and does a thorough job. Unfortunately, my wife's recent experience with her wedding dress cleaning has changed my mind about returning to this business. She was quoted 2 months for a cleaning that ended up taking 6 months. Over the course of the latter 4 months, she visited them 5 times, each time the dress was not ready. I cannot believe she put up with such poor communication on when the dress would be ready. The gentleman was very kind in explaining that he loss some key staff to finish the press, but the bad news was always delivered after she wasted a trip to pick up the item at each subsequent promise date. She finally got her dress and they did a great job, but the customer service was horrible and I do not plan to return. read more

We don't go here just because it's conveniently located down the street from us, but also because they are simply great. I've taken everything to this cleaners that needed desperate cleaning with most having long time stains and they always do a fabulous job. I most recently took my wedding gown here anxiously waiting to get it back, and when I did I was thrilled to see it was spotless and well taken care of. My dress was filthy!! I dropped off 3 blankets on Wednesday morning and was promised it will be ready by Saturday after 3. Went on Saturday around 4 pm. The owner looks at me and said it's not ready. He said maybe by Monday it will be ready. I told him that's not good. I asked for discount and he said that's not possible. At this point I was very dissatisfied with the experience. After a few chat back and forth he came towards me with a metal hook from the counter and came up to my face. At that point I called the police. This guy was very argumentative and accused me of doing wrong. I did nothing wrong and was just there to pick up my blankets. Never had received this kind of attitude and rude and aggressive behavior from this kind of business. I will never recommend this place to anyone. This guy listens to Christian music and radio station. I told him why you listen to that when you're not even Christian. This guy is total Psycho. Too much work I guess. I feel sorry for him. I have never had any clothes dry cleaned before, but I have several shirts with stains I haven't been able to get off. I like all the shirts very much so I decided to give it a try. I meant to go by Elegant Cleaner because it only costs $1.50 a shirt, while Ranch Cleaners costs $4.50 a shirt. However, it is still much cheaper than buying new shirts. I just moved into the neighborhood, so it was my first time coming here. I brought a mens suit jacket and pants. I thought the jacket was beyond repair, because it had the remains of what we'll call a really late night on the town. (We'll spare yours truly from any further embarrassment.) All the staff that I encountered were extremely friendly and accommodating, even making recommendations on how to mend the situation. I show up Monday at 4 pm and man says (with a big grin) comforter is being cleaned now and to come back another day. The job was nicely done and correct Now on to why a one star review: 1) The employees there cannot tell you the price of sewing on a patch. Why? I do not know. 2) I had two patches sewing onto a jacket and they charged me $15 each patch... YES $15 EACH PATCH! To me that is absurd. Maybe $3-$5 each patch I can understand. However I now know why they don't tell you the price... it's so they can charge you an insane amount per patch. read more

Why is there no minus stars option on Yelp? This cleaners used to be ok but they've changed their personnel and you can tell in the service. I left a very expensive leather suede tunic with them and it came back smelling so Full of chemicals that I had to bring it back. They charged over $30 to do this which I accepted assuming that they would do a good job. I was very very wrong! It smelled so terrible that I could not even keep it in the house! I returned it to them to have that corrected but it came back even worse. They agreed to fix that but when it came back the third time the top was completely ruined! Not only did it stink but now the suede was completely ruined! It had lost all texture, was wrinkled from being over pressed and heated, and had a sheen like oil cloth. Even though the owner agreed that the suede was damaged and smelled terrible before, now he says the wrinkles and damage are not a problem. I cannot even take this back home with me because it smells so bad! Obviously, I would never never never recommend this cleaners to anyone - Beware! read more

So this is the first time that I have used this cleaners and I have to say that it will be the last time. I live in the area and was looking for a place to hem 3 pairs of scrub pants. I brought my scrubs in last week 3/30/18. The staff was friendly and measured my pants quickly. After the measurements were finished they asked when I needed them by. I said the sooner the better. The person helping me said okay pick them up next Saturday 4/7/18 after 3pm. I thought that a week turnaround time was a bit too long for something that I wanted "sooner than later" but o well I complied and said that was fine. 4 days after dropping my pants off I attempted to call them just to see if by chance my pants were ready before the date they told me but nobody answered their phone. I called a total of 10 times over the next two days and still not one phone call was answered. By Friday 4/6/18 I decided to just go into the store to see if they were ready. I asked the gentleman who was working if he could check and he replied to me saying that there was no way for him to check if my pants were ready because they were being hemmed and not dry cleaned. I don't know but I think a place such as a cleaners should be able to check for their customers orders no matter what they were having done.
