Great service. I come back every month to wash my big comforters. Great prices and great parking

Everything!!! Always cleaned well and fresh. Always on time. If there is an issue, always handles it fairly and promptly. Prices competitive and spontaneously gives discounts to regular customers. I will never go anywhere else regardless of where I move too! read more

This is still my go to dry cleaner. Parking is always easy, the price is fair, and they are very quick. They even offer rush services and are open on Saturdays. There's no better dry cleaner around that gets the job done like 7th Ave! read more

Extremely expensive and took a week to get 3 blankets washed. We were unaware about how expensive washing blankets would be here. They were just your average blankets that cost $20. Cost us $75 just for them to wash it. I could've tossed the blankets and bought brand new ones at that price. Not only was it expensive it took forever to get back. Better to go to a coin laundry and wash it yourself for cheaper and it would only take a few hours. read more

I'm writing this review in hopes that they handle future customer concerns with more follow-through and professionalism. Everyone makes mistakes, but communication and accountability matter. I went to pick up my mattress cover, but they mistakenly gave me a duvet cover instead. Mistakes happen - all good. They told me they'd look for it and call me back. Nothing. I went back the following week. And the other employee didn't know a thing about it - couldn't find it. Told me she'd talk to the owner, Mark, and get back to me. Nothing. I'm writing this, hoping they won't treat any of their other customers this unprofessionally. read more

The people at 7th Avenue Cleaners were very nice and they did an excellent job. Clothes came back perfectly.

I took a cherished quilt in for washing. They did a beautiful job and returned it in a zippered bag. Excellent service and beautiful result.

Fast, meticulous and not outrageously priced. The best downtown dry cleaner I've done business with. Buy with confidence.

Went there for a dry cleaning and they stamped thru my shirt. This is a almost 1000$ shirt that was supposed to be wore on a event and now cannot be because they made HOLES in it. So stupid read more

We tried this place out bc my workout studio is across the street, and I noticed that this place was ALWAYS busy. I took it as a good sign! The prices are super competitive and the turnaround was fast. I appreciate that they had all their prices listed, so we knew exactly how much it was going to be. We had such a good experience that we even took my husband's wedding suit here! That's a lot of trust! His suit looked absolutely perfect, and we will be back for sure! read more

This is the WORST cleaner of all time. Avoid at all costs. Clothing, including nicest suits, came back wrinkled and they returned my nicest suit with stains that were never there when I brought it in. Will have to take the suit elsewhere to see if the stains from them can be gotten out. Absolutely horrible place. Also ridiculously overpriced. read more

Free parking available! So, don't worry about meters at this cleaners! I had alterations here and they far exceeded my expectations. The seamstress listened to how I wanted them to fit, pinned them quickly and had them done within days. By the way, they except competitors coupons and had some of their own in the last Penny Saver. So, they are also competitively priced. read more

Took my Versace shirt that i had just bought and only wore twice after wearing it the second time took it in for dry cleaners and they burned a hole through my brand new shirt. I asked to speak to management but they would give me the run around and said they will call me back and never did. On top of that i was still charged and company did not take any owner ship of the damage. My shirt is now damage and this cleaner will not take responsibility for this! Will never go back again and will urge customers think twice before going here and taking your designer clothes here!!! read more

Ruining a brand new dress and making me pay for it?? Really?? That sounds fair! I have never experienced this type of horrid customer service. My dress is now completely covered in black stains on an off white dress and they would not take responsibility for it. Unbelievable. I will never do business here again. read more

First of all, this is the cutest and coolest cleaners I've ever seen in my life. I took 3 items there to be dry cleaned. The skirt I took in had a stain on it for 5 years, so I hadn't worn it since. I figured it would not come out. Cookie, the sweet woman at the front, assured me they would try. I cannot believe it!! The stain came out! This is the best cleaners I've ever been to, they do the best job, they are super affordable, and they are so kind here (kudos to Cookie!!). Def my cleaners forever. Pros: Extremely fair pricing Sweet staff Professional Great service Gets out all stains and clothes look perfect read more

We called on Tuesday afternoon to have my bridal dresses pressed along with my husband's shirts and pants. The staff was accommodating and had it ready on Wednesday morning. read more

Have had great experiences thus far here. My formal dresses came back looking perfect and they're really reasonably priced.

I use dry cleaning services on weekly basis and this place has the most reasonable pricing compare to other cleaners in down town. They also have a great tracking system which you can track your laundered items from start to finish. read more

Great customer service, they deliver quality work and always have my clothes ready before due date

Good, dependable cleaners. Make sure to be detailed and specific with what you want on your dry cleaning. I have been going for close to a decade as they do all their dry cleaning on site. They have a diligent, thoughtful management, and kind employees. read more

Been coming here for years! I use to live at Alta and that's how I found out about this place... they're always nice and I've never had a problem here! Thank you 7th ave cleaners read more

I had the need for a rush dry cleaning over New Year's and 7th Ave Cleaners was only one I found that could do the job quickly. I dropped my suit and confirmed with staff they would be open until 5PM on New Year's Eve - only I showed up at 4:30PM and they were closed. Because of this I was prepared to leave a negative review but the owner completely turned this around. She contacted me the morning of New Year's Day to apologize. Not only that, she drove the suit to my house and did not charge me for the cleaning - no one provides this level of service today! So what was initially a very bad experience was completely turned around. read more

This place is outstanding! Just moved back to SD and found this cleaner by my house. Service is terrific and every time I come in they get me in and out quickly. They take care of all my dry cleaning and alteration needs. Thank you 7th Ave Cleaners! read more

By far the worst cleaners I have ever been to in my life. No exaggeration! I dropped off 2 work shirts, work vest, and my work pants. To recieve my pants, vest and 1 shirt the next day and they said it takes THREE DAYS to starch an item. So the 2nd shirt was to be starched. I pick up my uniform the next morning before work. The vest was ok. Technically no problem there. My pants and button down shirt, the crease lines on both were non-existent after putting the items on... How do you press an article of clothing and there's no crease line. Well it made perfect sense when I came back 2 days later to get my startched shirt and I asked, "Did you even starched this???" They replied, "No just dry cleaned." WTF! ARE YOU FN KIDDING ME! So I asked, "What was the point of me leaving my work shirt here for 3 days if it wasn't getting starched...?" Well we have no notes for it to be starched. So when I came 2 days ago to get all of my other items why would I leave this shirt here if it wasn't getting starched and it was just gonna sit here, I could've taken that with me as well! NEVER WOULD I EVER, recommend this place or step foot back in that establishment! Waisted time and money!!! Don't waist your time! read more

Best dry cleaning service I have ever used in Dan Diego in 20 years! The owner and employees are kind, courteous and accommodating. I am a first responder, working crazy hours, and often need uniforms dry cleaned with quick turnaround times. They have consistently helped me when I need uniforms in a short time frame. They have been especially helpful during COVID-19 when services are limited. Their services are consistent and of the best quality. I recommend 7th Avenue Cleaners to anyone wanting a reliable and high quality dry cleaner. read more

Quick, dependable, and hours that meet the needs of those of us with non-standard biz hours.

These cleaners were fantastic! We were in town for a wedding and needed some clothes laundered, folded and ready within a day. 7th Ave Cleaners did it! Amazing work by these people. AND in under a few hours! Would definitely recommend. Clean place, excellent service and professional. read more

I have spent a lot of money here, and most recently it has really gone downhill. I paid extra for my wife's blazer to be cleaned with one day turn around. When we got the blazer it had just been steamed flat and not cleaned, It still smelled as if she had just worn it. When I brought this up while there, they said that one day cleans do not get cleaned as well since there isn't enough time to clean it multiple times. Why the heck are you charging me extra if you don't go through the entire process? I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I've been going here for 4 years now and the quality and integrity of the business is good. The clothes are finished in a timely manner and the staff is great. I have had an incident where they missed a spot and they took it back and cleaned it again with no hassle , no fuss, no charge. I don't know what tailoring they do here as I am already loyal to another tailor who is very talented. I'll be coming here for many years. If you live in downtown by East Village this is the place! read more

Horrible. Simply horrible. I came here to get a couple items cleaned. A couple skirts, a sweater.. and then.. a BELTED jacket. A simple wool coat that had a belt. When I came to pick up my stuff, everything was kosher and basic. The young lady working was meh-- but whatever. Just needed to pick up my stuff and this BELTED jacket. And when I looked at my HEFTY bill. I noticed a line charge; "belt." "What's this charge? For a belt? I didn't get a belt cleaned" "That's for the belt on the jacket." "But it's part of the jacket." "It can come off. It's separate. You should know this." "Umm. I'm sorry, I don't understand? It's part of the jacket." "Yeah, but it can come off.. That's the charge. That's just the way it is." ... this conversation proceeded for another 5 mins.. in the end where this rude girl was basically charging me extra for the belt. I then asked for the manager, and she said he would charge me the same way... So, about 10 more mins of waiting, the manager finally came. The manager did take it off. The rude girl was huffing and puffing the whole time he did it, and had her mouth all ajar when we were going through the transaction. Simply rude. **update: I got a call from the manager recently who asked me to take this down, because it was getting a lot of hits. A personal call. A bit intrusive in my opinion. He asked that I take it down, because it made them look bad. I still won't edit, because it did happen. When I've had reviews that didn't go so well on other businesses, the owners have always followed up via yelp, which is requested both by yelp (i followed up regarding what their policy was on businesses contacting reviewers) and general good business practice. It was definitely a bit intrusive to call me to complain about a review. read more

Very disappointed. Used to love this place, but as they got more business/customers with Downtown's growth, their customer service, friendliness and turn-around time has dropped dramatically. After the last 3 consecutive visits having dealt with the bitchy older Mexican woman or new faces who move at a snail's pace and can't accomplish the minimal of tasks, I'm taking my business elsewhere. It takes them typically FOUR business days to do a laundered shirt, which is quite frankly ridiculous. While their prices are decent (not expensive, but not cheap) their customer service has turned to nastiness or slow/incompetent. I believe they could not handle their business's growth and lost the most important part of a successful business - treating their customers right and being reliable and courteous. I'm done with them. read more

I had an alteration done on a sweater and they did a great job. It came out as good as I expected, and it was completed in the amount of time that they quoted me. The only issue I had was I found a small, discolored area on the inside of the sweater. No big deal since its on the inside, but still. Other good points about this place include free indoor parking for customers, and very competitive prices (especially for downtown). read more

Everyone needs a good place to take their precious and not so precious articles of clothing. Well if your like me and very picky about where you take your cloths, you need to go to this place. I was down in San Diego for Comic-Con and needed some shirts washed and pressed quickly. I went to 7th Ave Cleaner based on all the great Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and delivered my shirts as promised. Admittedly, they were a bit on the pricey side, but well worth the peace of mind. Thanks Yelp family for pointing me in the right direction! read more

Way over priced for what you get. I paid over 50 bucks for 5 things! If they would have given me the receipt with the price on it when I dropped off my clothes I would def had taken my stuff else where. I think normal prices would be 5 bucks per item but that's just me and my experiences with other cleaners. Also, they managed to somehow shrink one of my shirts??? Only good thing about this place is they have a drive thru type of service so I didnt have to worry about parking read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. The location is great and the parking they offer is key in the city. The staff is rude and completely unhelpful for the most part unless you happen to catch them on a good day or work with the friendly owner. The first time it happened I figured I caught someone on a bad day but every time I drop off or pick up my dry cleaning recently (approx 2-3 times a month) I have a similar experience. If you live in the gaslamp or east village chances are you will give this place business because at the end of the day they have great prices and are conveniently located. Just don't expect a friendly hello or a smile from the people behind the counter when you go. read more

My girlfriend's brand new silk blouse, that was worn only once, had a minor stain on it so she took it here out of convenience. They were able to remove the stain, but dumbfoundedly they also removed half the fabric where the stain used to be. There is now an unsightly thinned out splotch. At least they have location and competitive pricing going for them, because their workmanship is lacking. read more

I really wanted this place to work out, since I work on the next block. I had an alteration done on a button up shirt, and not only was it not ready (after 3 attempts to pick it up after the day I was told to return, which - by the way - was 8 business days later) was charged twice the original price I was told when I dropped it off. Pretty simple things that could be improved. read more
