It was traumatizing so I won't into more detail. When I left I came to yelp to find a dentist close to me, and thank God I did. Premier dentistry had a long wait list when I called to schedule an appointment, but I didn't care because I knew that meant they had a lot of patients. (Which to me was a good sign). After going to them one time last year, I can safely say I see why they have to many patients. First - I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes in their waiting room. Whatever way they schedule their patients needs to be adopted across the world. Every single dental hygienist i have seen in a year and a half has been nothing short of kind. Even their receptionists are always smiling and everyone looks like they genuinely enjoy where they work. Which makes you happy to be there too. Dr. Islam is the cutest little dentist ever. And I love it when she checks my teeth. She listens to my concerns and makes sure to do the best and most cost efficient solution. I ended up getting retainers there, (because I felt my teeth shifting and asked for them) and the entire process was a breeze from start to finish. Taylor, the whitening/bleaching employee was so cute and fun to talk to, and offered an additional case just in case I broke my other one. She definitely didn't have to do that, but I felt so seen and taken care of. I love this place. Even if I end up moving across the state one day - I will always come back every 6 months because this place is that great. Last spring I had my cleaning and they found a crack under a molar crown. I went to an implant specialist. Had it extracted and a bone graft. During those visits I had extensive halo X-rays and regular X-rays. Today I was told if I didn't have a "big picture done" Each Individual Tooth X rayed, they would not clean my teeth. I walked out. That is not necessary. I just had halo X-rays done a year ago. It isn't healthy to have that many X-rays. I am 72. I am not getting all new crowns or veneers. Not going back ever. Furious. They would not clean my teeth unless I agreed to have each tooth xrayed!

I was told on two separate appointments by Aspen Dental staff that I owed out of pocket for these cleanings, which I know is not true. This time, I was told that I needed to wait 30-45 calendar days for Aspen Dental to verify my insurance. As soon as I called Delta Dental, they confirmed that this could be confirmed online within 30 seconds. I waited on a 3 way call for Aspen Dental to figure out my plan on their end and they couldn't do it after 20 minutes on the phone. It seemed like laziness to me. Previously I seen a dentist in the ARMY which mistakenly read the wrong chart and drilled a tooth that did not need drilling. So for a first true experience I was painfully pampered by an amazingly awesome dentist. My dentist Dr Anderson poked and prodded and did a thorough exam making certain she left no area unattended or not examined. With grace from God my teeth were in great shape with only one minor cavity needing to be filled. Although I had a cavity it certainly was a blessing to learn of better ways to conduct dental hygiene. I also threw out a question of removing a filling and replacing with a true teeth color. When most people would have seen that as a easy dollar Dr. Anderson was very honest and advised against such a procedure. It is great to know of such people with great integrity. Dr. Nadella has been my dentist for years. Before I found her, I spent 40+ years having to have…read morenitrous numbing and still almost in tears... And that it was just for cleanings! Dr. Nadella has a very soothing presence. After seeing her for six months, I didn't need anything for cleaning. I lost a great deal of fear, due to her bedside manner and gentle touch She has always erred on the side of caution with me. If she sees something that could become a problem later on she tells me and makes sure to document. I think this is extremely important! It's always my choice of whether or not I want to have work performed. But it's knowing that these things should absolutely be looked at after every cleaning that I find invaluable. Dr. Nadella has done several implants for me and I'm due for several more. She has always proposed alternate treatments that are less expensive than implants. This means a lot to me and should mean a great deal to any patient I have also opted for sedation to have teeth pulled and bone grafts and she has always used a light touch with the sedation. The fact that sedation is included is incredibly important for someone like me. I can't recommend her highly enough! The staff, Shannon especially, was so nice and so welcoming! I can't tell you what it means to not dread going to the dentist means to me and the impact that it has had on my life. Thank you Dr. Nadella and staff... I could not ask for better!

To note it did take me a long time as a new patient to get set up, I was in there for 3 hours for all the exams, x rays, cleanings and walkthrough of what procedures I needed.
