I think so much of Dr. Glover and this practice that I followed him from his prior location in Brier Creek to his new location in Chapel Hill. I've been seeing him since 2013-14 and been very happy with his work and his attitude. I like his staff as well - always friendly and efficient. I have some VERY old fillings that another dentist wanted to replace in 2012. The teeth and the fillings weren't causing me any discomfort and, from my point of view, there was no reason to replace them except to build up a larger bill. My apologies, in advance, for the lengthy review. I had the pleasure of meeting my NEW dental practice. My introductions began several weeks ago scheduling a dental hygiene appointment. I happened to speak to Suzanne, one of the Hygienists for Dr. Glover. A warm and welcoming conversation that suggested I had found compassionate and devoted professionals! With my first visit, I entered a beautiful office that was immaculate! We all have been in clinical settings that seem contrary to health. As I waited, Patients arrived and left, conversations and laughter ensued. Family arrived with baked goods. This could not have been more intimate. Remember... I'm in a dental practice! My appointment with Dr. Sheikh was extraordinary, as was her dental assistant. Time comfortably dedicated for an examination, to discuss my history/concerns, treatment plan and insurance benefits. Thoughtful, professional, well-educated, and trained, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Time also allowed for a cleaning with the sweet and delightful Michelle, another dental hygienist. Incredibly ACCOMMODATING! With each examination, probing, etc. what I found to be consistent was this awareness that I am a person! Welcomed and HEARD! We all feel trepidation when seeing a Dentist. Leave your fears in the ample parking lot! Gentle, compassionate care...conversations surrounding a treatment plan and costs. Dr. Glover's Staff are well-versed in insurance benefits and file for you!!!!! Prior to selecting his group, I searched many others and often read reviews whereby patients reported being given incorrect insurance information that led to costly visits or had to pre-pay in advance. My family and I chose to come to this practice because of all the good reviews that I read. Unfortunately, this is not been my family's experience since coming to the practice. Three of my four family members are now experiencing major sensitivity in their teeth, Dr. Glover chipped my husband and my son's tooth. On multiple occasions, the practice has canceled appointments the day of or before but just argued with my husband for canceling his appointment tomorrow saying that he owes them $25. Very Disappointed. We actually traveled over 30 minutes to come to this particular practice because of the reviews and now I have to write this one! read more

Would have liked to be able to rate this dentist, but since he never bothered to call me back, I cannot say anything about services rendered. I can say, however, that when a dentist states on his website that he is available 24/7 for dental emergencies, he should at least return a phone call to say he can/cannot see the patient. I broke a tooth on a Sunday night. Called this office after finding him on-line and seeing the emergency availability...for new and established patients alike. Waited all night for a return phone call, but it never came. It is now Tuesday night and I still haven't heard from anyone at this office. This is the epitome of unprofessional IMO and no way to run an office. Luckily, I found Dr. Scott C. Earp on Monday morning and he got me in at noon. BEST DENTIST EVER! Was having lots of pain on my right side and was told by a different place I needed a root canal. I used Dr. Glover because they accepted my HMO insurance plan, but I'm so happy I did! I was only there for a consultation but he ended up doing the root canal the same day. Absolutely no pain and Dr. Glover was very kind and patient, making sure I was never in any pain throughout the procedure. Great office staff as well, who worked with me as my insurance is lapsing soon. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Glover and his staff! read more

This is the worst practice you will ever go to! If you go there be prepared to have no rights as a patient and get humiliated and disrespected as a person, and by the way the term " customer/patient is always right" doesn't exist in this place but vise versa!!!!! The staff and the doctor are always right not the patient!! First of all let me tell you about my self. I'm a patient service coordinator in a doctor office for the last 8 years. Customer service is a priority to me and you can ask my patients and the doctors I worked for about me and how important it is to make all patients happy and that you have to go above and beyond. I had an appointment today as a new patient, my appointment was at 3. I got there 3:08 I couldn't find the place I filled paper work and waited ! At 3:30 the front desk employee comes back and ask me for the primary policy holder name and ssn that I have already provided and I told her it's on the sheet. So first my insurance wasn't already pulled as I provided all these details in advance since I'm familiar with this field. By 3:45 still not seen I go and I ask : hi , is there any issue with my insurance that's why I'm not seen yet ? The lady said no it's all good just have a seat and no apologizing about the wait or any explanation! So that was unprofessional ! By 4:05 the tech finally calls me back after the 2 patients that came after me had already been seen and gone as well. She comes and said hi how are you ? I answer good thank you. While we are walking to the room I asked her literary I would like to know why was this long wait I have been here since 3pm and it's 4:05 now ! She said : I wasn't aware and MAYBE we have an emergency sorry! So I told her it would be nice for next time to let the patient know about the wait and give them the choice to reschedule or stay according to their time as I am a new patient and don't know how long normally is their wait!!So polite and professional what I said! She goes : just mention that to the Doctor ! I said ok I will I'm a front desk person as well and that what would I say to my patients if we are running behind schedule. And she does the X-ray and life goes on not mad or anything anymore since she mentioned they had a emergency. The what's called " a doctor" comes in, first doesn't do eye contact or shake my hand or introduce him self to me he sits down and wear his gloves so I kinda felt where this is going. His first words to me so what's going on today like he has seen me before! I ignored all the above and told him the reason for my visit! Then he asked me anything upsetting you today? I answered I just would like to mention to you that I had to wait for an hour without knowing the reason and I'm front desk personal as well and it will be appreciative for the front desk staff to let the patients know about the wait and give them the choice to stay or reschedule for the future! It's my first time here but the tech told me you had an emergency patient so it's all ok now and by the way I was referred to you by 3 of your patients . So I had no intention to be rude or impolite and it's my right as a patient to know and question why is the long wait ! He kept saying but you still seem upset and I said no I'm ok I found out the reason for the wait so it's all good I heard you are a good doctor that's why I'm here trying to change the subject , but nop he wouldn't stop saying you still seem upset for me to reopen the Subject again trying to aggregative me , so I said to him you seem upset and he started taking his gloves off so I turned my face to him and he said yes you were rude to my all my employees and I said no I was not plus I only saw one of your employees and I complained to her and she asked to mention my complain to you ! And I asked his so you are not gonna see me today ? He said no I don't want to go through the hassle and you were rude to my employees ! So I was in position I had to justify myself and as a patient which you shouldn't be put through that at all. So I got up and I told him you are the worst doctor I have ever dealt with and in my career I never came across a doctor who doesn't know his code of ethics and I will file a complaint with the board of dentistry. He said go do whatever you want! I told him what a doctor who talks like this to his patients I guess you are really having a bad day he said no it was all fine I can't see patients who are rude. In conclusion I think he was discriminating against me because I was Muslim and it was so obvious from the way I was treated by the whole staff and doctor! Sorry for my language but you deserve what I called in front of your staff and patients: you are an asshole!! The first time I went here was great! I went on a Saturday, everyone was super friendly, on time, everything. I could not agree more with the first review. Today I went back for a filling and not only didn't get the work done but will not ever go back. Dr. Glover had taken an emergency at some point during the day, which put him behind schedule. Forty five minutes behind schedule. When he came into the room he did not acknowledge that he was so behind schedule. We all have crazy days and we all have crazy schedules, it would have been nice if he could have acknowledged it. As we started talking I told him in the future it would be great if he were so behind if one of his staff could call, my previous dentist would call, and had called in similar situations. Dr. Glover asked if I wanted t reschedule and my response was no, I was already in the chair. He responded by taking his gloves off and telling me to reschedule and walked out of the room. This was surprising behavior, I walked to the front to request my records. If he were going to treat me that way there is no way I was going to come back and let him work on my mouth. As I was waiting for the staff member to assemble my file he came out to ask if I was ok. I said no and in fact I'm not coming back because of the way he had just treated me. He then told me to not let the door hit me in the ass on the way out and that I was unbelievable. I am more than dissapointed by the way I was treated. Being verbally abused by someone because they've had a bad day or whatever his problem was is inexcusable. Had I been running 45 minutes late I would have called. In fact, today in my own work, I was running late to meet a client. I sent an email as I was walking out the door letting my client know I was on my way. When I got on I40 there were 2 accidents. Once I got through the traffic I called my client to give them a revised ETA. No big deal, just being courteous. read more

Not sure about any of you, but my time is just as important as the next person, When I have an appointment I expect to be seen within a proximity to that time or at least be given the courtesy that the Dr. is running a little behind. After waiting 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment time I went to the front desk and told them I would have to reschedule because I was going to be late for work. Dr. Glover was standing there and said, "I don't owe you an apology; this obviously is not the practice for you". Are you kidding me?? Since when are dentist so rude and unprofessional? Glad I found out early on that this guy is a quack. I have heard sereral people talk about him being a little off, but my past 2 visits were fine prior to this. I suggest Dr. Glover makes sure to take his meds every morning before work and know that there are a lot of great dentists in the Raleigh area to choose from. Everyone knows it's hard to find a great dental practice, but this one is. The hygienists are knowledgeable and professional and the front desk staff is friendly and helpful. In my experience, Dr. Glover won't perform unnecessary procedures and isn't in it for the money. I really believe he does quality work to help people. I've never been able to find quite the right dentist. After relocating to Raleigh, I was determined to find a great one. When I came into Dr. Glover's office, I feared the worst for the overall health of my teeth. When I walked out of Dr. Glover's office, the difference was immediately noticeable.
