It was traumatizing so I won't into more detail. When I left I came to yelp to find a dentist close to me, and thank God I did. Premier dentistry had a long wait list when I called to schedule an appointment, but I didn't care because I knew that meant they had a lot of patients. (Which to me was a good sign). After going to them one time last year, I can safely say I see why they have to many patients. First - I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes in their waiting room. Whatever way they schedule their patients needs to be adopted across the world. Every single dental hygienist i have seen in a year and a half has been nothing short of kind. Even their receptionists are always smiling and everyone looks like they genuinely enjoy where they work. Which makes you happy to be there too. Dr. Islam is the cutest little dentist ever. And I love it when she checks my teeth. She listens to my concerns and makes sure to do the best and most cost efficient solution. I ended up getting retainers there, (because I felt my teeth shifting and asked for them) and the entire process was a breeze from start to finish. Taylor, the whitening/bleaching employee was so cute and fun to talk to, and offered an additional case just in case I broke my other one. She definitely didn't have to do that, but I felt so seen and taken care of. I love this place. Even if I end up moving across the state one day - I will always come back every 6 months because this place is that great. I don't always give reviews, but I knew I had to give this one 5+ stars because I need them to stay around!!!! (Selfishly for my sake).

Unfortunately, we, as a family, will not be staying as patients any longer. Once Riccobene took over, the family feel left and was replaced with giant corporate greed. We've had billing issues, a male dentist there (military dentist) told me I needed a cavity filled. Dr Robbie did current X-rays and said, absolutely not! No cavity anywhere! The office feels like a giant cattle call. No friendliness, no warmth, the revolving door of staff shows how bad it's become. On our most recent visit, there were FOUR temporary hygienists/assistants. You never see the same team. We've witnessed questionable behavior from a dentist there (male military dentist), we've seen hygienists standing around eating in the patient area. This office is no longer what it once was and we are moving on. Following Dr Sommer to Youngsville Dentistry, he's terrific and actually cares about his patients.

I was told on two separate appointments by Aspen Dental staff that I owed out of pocket for these cleanings, which I know is not true. This time, I was told that I needed to wait 30-45 calendar days for Aspen Dental to verify my insurance. As soon as I called Delta Dental, they confirmed that this could be confirmed online within 30 seconds. I waited on a 3 way call for Aspen Dental to figure out my plan on their end and they couldn't do it after 20 minutes on the phone. It seemed like laziness to me. Previously I seen a dentist in the ARMY which mistakenly read the wrong chart and drilled a tooth that did not need drilling. So for a first true experience I was painfully pampered by an amazingly awesome dentist. My dentist Dr Anderson poked and prodded and did a thorough exam making certain she left no area unattended or not examined. With grace from God my teeth were in great shape with only one minor cavity needing to be filled. Although I had a cavity it certainly was a blessing to learn of better ways to conduct dental hygiene. I also threw out a question of removing a filling and replacing with a true teeth color. When most people would have seen that as a easy dollar Dr. Anderson was very honest and advised against such a procedure. It is great to know of such people with great integrity. My kids are 7 and 9 and so far we are at the wait and watch stage, as they still have baby teeth and movement in their mouths. We are always greeted very happily here and have questions answered in a timely manner. They apologize profusely if you wait too long. My son has been seen twice, my daughter once. We have not paid a bill yet. Rather astonishing that they really care about making sure the orthodontics are done at the right time and not just money grabbing from the start. Makes me appreciate the office and doctor that much more. Best part is the Starbucks cafe that is in the office! Makes long waits bearable as does the arcade for the kids!

I simply asked Dr. Frank Rudey (whom I was meeting for the first time) about permanent retainers, as they had been previously recommended. He began to answer but then abruptly stopped, stated that I didn't trust his professional opinion, and said the other doctor who had originally recommended the retainers should finish the appointment instead. Then, he left the room--yet no one else was available, of course. I'm not sure what prompted this reaction--whether he dislikes being questioned or took issue with my Russian accent--but I left feeling disrespected and offended. After investing so much time and money into this treatment, I never expected to encounter such rudeness and unprofessionalism.
