I started not knowing exactly what I wanted- they choices are crazy and so hard to know what would work good with what- and the cost of different materials impacted our decisions, too. The designer and staff could not have been nicer- so patient and accommodating. The installers were also amazing- My husband is extremely picky and notices everything and couldn't find a flaw in the install. The hardest part of all this was being without a kitchen for 4 weeks. Front Row took care of everything. It went off without a glitch. Our kitchen is our favorite room in the house! I highly recommend them.

You get the same workers doing a specific job It was a pleasure working with Shelly. From begining to end, she communicated step-by-step what was being doddne and when. Any questions/concerns were handled immediately, was always available. Chuck was our foreman, he is the most knowledgeable, crafted and has the most patience (trust me, I drove him nuts!). He was on the job each day with workers to be sure everything was being done correctly. He also made a new cabinet for me that I designed on paper and he made it beyond my expectation! He offered suggestions and advised the do's & don't each step of the way. Never had to worry about cleaning up each day as all the workers never left a mess! From demo, to completion things could not have been better. Everything flowed according to schedule! One importsant thing to remember, once everything has been measured, ordered and delivered, any changes you may make will add time to the schedule so don't complain if the work goes behind your completion date, do your homework before!

If you want your kitchen done fast and cheap; go somewhere else. If you want it done just once and beautifully; make an appointment with Maya. I have done 5 kitchens over my life and this was by far the best one. A few things you should know regarding a total redo of a kitchen like we did. 1-The process will take time, probably longer than you think, and you can not rush it 2-It will cost more than you think for crazy things you will pick out later in the process. I just spent $112 for special electrical faceplates on Amazon because they were gorgeous. Hacker Kitchens is responsible for cabinets, appliances (which are frequently incorporated into the cabinets), backsplash and countertops. You may need a general contractor for specialities like electrician, plumber, carpenter, etc. She may be able to help with recommendations or I would be happy to share names of the professionals that I used in the NY, CT area. If you speak with Maya and want to see a finished kitchen, ask her to call Louis or Susan. We would be proud to show you.

The exhaust duct work was particularly impressive as we needed to exhaust a high CFM range hood through a very confined space. The project manager John was exceptionally good at listening to me, analyzing exactly what needed to be done, and developing a plan for accomplishing it. He communicated well and was a problem solver throughout the entire process. Great customer service, fair price, and great work, you can't go wrong with Wiser. A++++

He is honest, his prices reasonable, and he truly cares for his work and making you happy. When we first started I felt overwhelmed by the sheer amount of work that needed to be done to renovate a 30 year old dentist office with 7 rooms to a modern beautiful spa like Acupuncture office. Everything needed to be gutted and replaced. We had to demo everything to its bones, tear up carpets and tiles, remove large pieces of walls in each room and then rebuild walls, doors, replace flooring, lights and everything to modernize and give it that spa like feeling. I was stressed....Until I talked with Fernando and we discussed the project and plans going forward. There are some people that instantly make you feel calm, relaxed and like everything is going to be okay. Fernando is one of those people. He is a true gift. The calm I felt was continually delivered over the time of the renovation as his team quickly went to work and my office moved along exactly along the time table he projected. I never saw people work so hard, fast, and efficiently. I trusted Fernando and his team 100%. I always felt heard and listened to, even as we assess and changed quite a few things through the process. I truly can't recommend Fernando enough, he made what I imagined a hellish process, easy, simple and relatively stress free.

Top quality, reasonable price, incredibly fast, and on top of all that nice and easy to work with. For more detail I should write some background. When we moved to Croton in 2019, we had plans for updating and customizing our home. We tried really hard to find good contractors, having had bad experiences in the past. Unfortunately we kept having one bad experience after another. Bad quality, unfinished work, open permits, huge delays, big increases in cost from the estimates, and in general headaches for us to deal with. Fernando came in and fixed all our problems. Other contractors took 3 months to grade, install a basic stone wall, and dig a hole for a rain garden. Then they quoted us $45k to finish the work. When we said that was too high they left us with a mess. Fernando took 6 days to do that same work for half the cost. Then on top of that he fixed a huge mistake the other crew made on the rain garden and installed a good system that makes us much more confident our home is protected from big storms. The whole time he was much more transparent about materials and cost and timing than anyone else we dealt with. We're hoping that he's available for all our future projects and so happy that we finally found such a great contractor. Don't hesitate to choose Vista Construction, and you're welcome to visit our place anytime if you want to see how nice his walls look. One of them is even half his work and half the other crew for a perfect comparison.

He also called me yesterday evening and said "if you don't delete your negative review of Rusal on Yelp, I will make you pay." Then all of a sudden, all of these new reviews dated around the same time just pop up gushing about Rusal. I saw similar positive reviews of Rusal on Angies List back in 2012 - that was why I hired him. I did not like Jay at all when I met him, but he had all those good reviews on Angies.... Hiring Jay was my first mistake, purchasing from his recommended vendor was the second and worst mistake. I don't believe those reviews are real, perhaps they are, but I suspect they come from friends or employees. In addition, I highly suspect that all those pictures of beautifully designed and crafted bathrooms and kitchens on his web site were NOT built/made by Jay and Rusal. They appear to be stock photos and/or photos from other websites that Jay is using, I also suspect, without permission, On Angie's List, I had to really dig in to find Rusal's record and it states on their page that Servidio violated some contract terms so Angies is no longer listing Rusal. Also, when I GOOGLED Jay and his wife Carol, all I can say is wow, just wow. All I am sharing is that after hiring Rusal back in May 2012, my bathrooms are still incomplete, Jay has been sending my family threats, and he owes me money back. If you want this kind of person in your life, in your house, then hire him by all means.
