Then all of a sudden, all of these new reviews dated around the same time just pop up gushing about Rusal. I saw similar positive reviews of Rusal on Angies List back in 2012 - that was why I hired him. I did not like Jay at all when I met him, but he had all those good reviews on Angies.... Hiring Jay was my first mistake, purchasing from his recommended vendor was the second and worst mistake. I don't believe those reviews are real, perhaps they are, but I suspect they come from friends or employees. In addition, I highly suspect that all those pictures of beautifully designed and crafted bathrooms and kitchens on his web site were NOT built/made by Jay and Rusal. They appear to be stock photos and/or photos from other websites that Jay is using, I also suspect, without permission, On Angie's List, I had to really dig in to find Rusal's record and it states on their page that Servidio violated some contract terms so Angies is no longer listing Rusal. Also, when I GOOGLED Jay and his wife Carol, all I can say is wow, just wow. All I am sharing is that after hiring Rusal back in May 2012, my bathrooms are still incomplete, Jay has been sending my family threats, and he owes me money back. If you want this kind of person in your life, in your house, then hire him by all means.

It was close to closing time when I called but decided to give it a shot as I needed a door installed ASAP. To my surprise, Dorian answered the phone. I let him know what I needed and he even came that same night after hours to do a consultation. Once he assessed, and understood the urgency he sent a quote that night, and made an appt that same week to install the door/door frame. He sent me all my options and picked everything up at Home Depot for me so I didn't have to move a finger. Dorian answered texts promptly, was very careful with his work, and kept me updated throughout the day on progress/issues he found when installing my door. While he was working he listened to my needs and customized the door to what I needed. Actually washing certain areas of the floor. Then the coup de grace, they go around the property near the outside of windows and pick-up debris by hand, then vacuum. When we moved to Croton in 2019, we had plans for updating and customizing our home. We tried really hard to find good contractors, having had bad experiences in the past. Unfortunately we kept having one bad experience after another. Bad quality, unfinished work, open permits, huge delays, big increases in cost from the estimates, and in general headaches for us to deal with. Fernando came in and fixed all our problems. Other contractors took 3 months to grade, install a basic stone wall, and dig a hole for a rain garden. Then they quoted us $45k to finish the work. When we said that was too high they left us with a mess. Fernando took 6 days to do that same work for half the cost. Then on top of that he fixed a huge mistake the other crew made on the rain garden and installed a good system that makes us much more confident our home is protected from big storms. The whole time he was much more transparent about materials and cost and timing than anyone else we dealt with. We're hoping that he's available for all our future projects and so happy that we finally found such a great contractor.
