A rare and great company with old world standards of quality and commitment! As a homeowner of an…read moreolder house for 10 years I've had a lot of experience with contractors and received three other estimates before choosing Fesco. When we made contact with Jonnie in the office, she was pleasant, friendly and thorough. Damian our Project Manager was professional, personable and very knowledgeable. He took impeccable measurements and advised us the on the most cost effective and appropriate materials, possible obstacles and options for our property. We also received a very fast and detailed price quote and once the project began, Damian visited to check its progress and stayed in touch throughout. The team consisting of Mario and Rudy arrived within the estimated time for the materials supply to be delivered and we couldn't believe the amount of work they were able to do on a daily basis. They worked tirelessly and with great detail to to every aspect of our wooden fence installation. They were considerate to the fact that we had dogs and made sure to revolve the job around maintaining a perimeter for the animals security. They were also very talented carpenters with the wooden fence and gates having a level of craftsmanship you see in woodcraft magazines. The company mills its own materials and you can see the sense of pride in their product. It's no wonder they have existed for so many years, we couldn't be happier with choosing Fesco. Fesco did not honor our warranty…read more Fesco fenced our yard last summer. The fence was sturdy and good quality but not what we had expected based on their photo gallery and our discussions. Our project manager, David, did try to make it right, but he was only able to offer minimal changes. We decided to leave it as is. Four months later, the gate lock broke. David sent someone to fix it, but it broke again soon after, and then David left the company. Since then we haven't been able to get anyone to come out and even look at it. We did a temporary DIY fix for a while (literally twist ties) and then made another push for them to fix it. They've been giving us the run around for 8 weeks, saying they'll call me back, they'll pass along my message, they're not going to be in Westchester for a while, etc. We need the lock fixed for the safety of our dog, so we will have to pay another company to deal with it. We chose Fesco despite their prices being much higher than others (nearly 15k for mostly wire fence on a small property) because we thought we'd be in good hands. I regret hiring Fesco.

I hired Sea Beast Design & Construction (Sebastian Barbagallo) as General Contractor for a…read moreresidential project in Fair Lawn, NJ under a written contract in March 2026.. I paid Sea Beast $68,190 against the contract and separately paid $17,176 directly for materials I had no contractual obligation to pay -- $85,366 total -- yet MULTIPLE major scope items remained incomplete or not meaningfully progressed with only weeks left on the schedule. These included the porticos, exterior brick samples, simple framing and finish details, unable to install simple door hardware, the HVAC condenser pad (the condenser itself was paid for but not on site), step repointing and masonry, main electrical service, exterior hardware, interior doors (despite a $3,000 advance for them), and the kitchen, which was never properly coordinated, ordered or released. Sea Beast also failed to provide the conditional lien waivers, a simple bill that wasn't a demand for money that needs to be today which was required with each progress payment, and continued to demand additional payment while materially overbilled relative to work completed. I issued a formal Notice of Performance Issue on April 4, 2026 requiring a written cure plan, manpower and sequencing plan, procurement status, revised schedule, lien waivers, and payment reconciliation. Sea Beast acknowledged receipt but did not provide the required cure documentation. I issued a Notice of Default on April 8, 2026 under the contract's default provision, which required cure commencement within 36 hours. The required cure was not provided. I terminated the contract for default and am pursuing damages. I would not hire Sea Beast Design & Construction again and would not recommend them for residential general contracting work. I've filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs.
