Needless to say, there were plans, revised plans, and a lot of communication with us and the town, AND the insurance adjusters (we had 4 before the repair was completed). Marcello was steady throughout. We must have gone through at least 4-5 revisions and alternative ideas to find one the insurance company would agree to (my house is a balloon structure, meaning there are no supports in the middle of the house. This required posts to support the new hip rafter, and supports for the post on every floor, so Marcello was creative). He and his crew made sure the repair was sound, safe, and when he had to put a beam through my living room to support my house, he made sure it looked absolutely beautiful (and added another to balance it), AND as though it had been part of the house since the 1800's.
