Danny is honest, professional, fair, and genuinely a good person. He and his team finished the wall in no time and it looked amazing. For the past 7 years, if I need something done.. I call Danny. He has completed drywall, refinished my wood floors, repaired my ceiling, fixed sinks, doors, installed a fence, and just completed my back patio. What I appreciate about Danny and his team is the fact he takes the time to talk things out, brainstorm, and find the most reasonably priced route. And EVERYTHING that man and his team has completed for me in 7 years is still standing. I have not had one issue with the jobs he has completed. Honestly, he has fixed jobs that I had done when I first moved into my house. I am kicking myself that I did not call him first! If Danny says he will start on Saturday, he will start on Saturday. He communicates with me during the entire project. OH! AND HE CLEANS UP AFTERWARD!!! UNHEARD OF! So if you want a job completed where you do not have to go back to get it fixed again - and you want punctual, professional, courteous, respectful, transparent, fairly priced, QUALITY work done? Danny. Danny is the way to go. One day he joked "Never fear, Danny's here." Super true statement because I have never had a doubt in seven years. no notes

In the midst of putting up the first painting, he literally packed up his tool bag and left after I kindly requested him to move the positioning a quarter inch to the right since it wasn't centered on the wall. Literally no conversation at all except, "I don't want to do this job." When I called the main number, the dispatcher apologized for the worker's behavior and offered an alternative handy person to stop by 2 days later. I was literally left speechless by this level of unprofessionalism - especially when the person is being paid by the hour and not a flat fee. Appreciate that the dispatcher took responsibility and was apologetic, and not defensive at all. However, having planned for more than a week and having moved work commitments for this, it's not acceptable.

I interviewed several drywallers, painters, and contractors before choosing EC Painting & Home Maintenance. Efrain's verbal communication and English is EXCELLENT which was very important to me when choosing a contractor to make sure everything went smoothly. I knew my project had unique challenges--unlevel floors, walls and doorways that weren't square or plumb, nail pops, and large settling cracks from a 49+ year-old building. I was very concerned no matter what I did things would never look "straight," but Efrain worked with me diligently to get things "picture perfect" so that the crooked walls and floors disappeared and became invisible to the naked eye when finished. From the start, Efrain listened carefully, answered all my detailed (often technical) questions, and worked with me to find the best approach--for example, reframing bifold doors so they would look straight and close properly when one side of the floor was nearly 2" lower than the other. I know I'm not the easiest customer since I like to understand exactly how things will be done, but Efrain was patient, explained everything clearly, and was flexible as we figured out solutions along the way. Also, unlike some contractors/owners who show up for an estimate but then send different workers to do the job, which often results in gaps in communication, he also did most of the work personally (adding 1-2 additional crew when needed) and was always available and responsive to calls, texts and emails, so there were no communication gaps. Whenever something wasn't "just right" and needed a little tweaking or change, he never complained once and made sure I was completely satisfied with the finished result. Efrain is professional, patient, communicative, and genuinely a pleasure to work with. His crew works efficiently and respectfully, and he goes above and beyond to make sure everything looks right. I highly recommended EC Painting & Home Maintenance for your next renovation project. Five stars!!!
