So when I meet someone like Luis, it seems all the more incredible. After being ghosted, gouged, ignored and subjected to amateur work, Yorktown Painting Home Improvement is a d*amned miracle. Luis is polite and professional, called us back and showed up when he said he would for an initial walkthrough. That in and of itself is impressive, given our experience with local contractors. His bid was more than fair (it was half of our highest bid) and his crew was able to start the project quickly. Here's where it seems too good to be true- they showed up every morning early, worked until dark, left the job site neat and organized, and finished the job ahead of schedule. They did Sheetrock installation and repair, a bit of framing and painted walls, ceilings, closet doors and trim for us in our great room and a spare room conversion, and it all looks incredible. The attention to detail is clear, and we still can't believe they did so much so well in such a short period of time. I was blown away by our experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Luis. He and his assistant also 'bagged' the leaves, etc. taken from the gutters and downspout, rather than just tossing them down into garden beds. He also offers to install leaf guard covers for the gutters for an additional cost, but there is no pressure to go there.
