I usually only write reviews for restaurants and the sort but because the guy at DNA was so genuinely helpful and patient with my picky a**, I couldn't help but feel the need to. In my apartment I have white marble kitchen counters that were once very beautiful but were a bit neglected since my partner and I have been so busy working, i.e. scratch marks, dents. We came here to visit their showroom/survey their catalogue and boy do they have a large selection. Do expect to spend a good amount of time here to get creative and think in colors and textures. Rest assured you will have help from people who have a tasteful eye for design. When it comes to contractors I am always a bit wary as nobody ever wants to be radically overcharged for anything, especially in a field that you know very little about. The guy who walked us through the showroom was very genuine and honest about our wants, needs, and most importantly, budget. I'd say we have pretty good judgement when it comes to people and not once did I feel uncomfortable or that he was trying to swindle us for money. I worked with Ady to design my kitchen. I started my renovations during covid so I went in fully knowing that delays were most likely going to happen due to unforeseen covid issues around the region of spain and italy which is where my kitchen was being crafted. Please be aware that due to covid supply chains everywhere is backed up. I did a gut renovation and experienced many setbacks because of covid unrelated to my kitchen. I say this because its important customers realize kitchens take time (especially if they are coming from Europe) on average depending on how large the kitchen anywhere between 4-6 months from the moment of order. Anyways in the end all my materials arrived and my kitchen looks beautiful. Here are some tips: just because a sample slab is not in the showroom don't be shy to ask Ady to order it. She ordered me several slabs and it was never an issue. A kitchen is a big commitment so do your research. Concerning countertops I did not order my countertops here because my kitchen was small and i did not need an entire sheet but do your research. If you have a large kitchen you will probably need a whole sheet and Ady had a couple of exclusive countertop manufacturers that were really affordable with much more comfortable lead times. Not all countertop manufacturers are the same so ask about lead times, turnaround and materials. I asked Ady a million questions. She always responded promptly and if a materials were out of stock (which will happen often) or delayed she offered options. Also you can always jump on Zoom. I had a very particular vision for my kitchen I knew exactly what I wanted but if your someone that needs to wrangle your vision in then thats okay too thats what Ady is there for. Couple of more tips: DNA does offer installment but my contractor had the exclusive if I could have had DNA install it I probably would have. Another tip: I made dna craft custom holes and shorten drawers to accomodate my gas lines and plumbing this wasn't an issue for them but remember to account for that when you're designing your kitchen particularly if your moving a sink or the stove which is what I did. I looked at 5 european distributors in the man/bk area DNA definitely had the best pricing. I am super happy with the end product its looks exactly like I envisioned it. read more
