And yes, I checked the pricing and the cost of these products (Fisher Paykel 2 drawer dishwasher, GE counter depth, fridge/freezer and LG double oven stove were less expensive and available at AJ Madison then other places.

So if you are someone who isn't at home every single day, you have to scramble to change your schedule or reschedule (but again, they won't reschedule for a specific day and time, they will just do the same thing and deliver whenever the hell they want). After calling and explaining the situation, the customer service rep and her manager both basically acted like my complaint was new to them and not a big deal. They pretended to care, but I still don't know when the delivery will happen. Never in my 50 years of adulting have I encountered a company that cares so little about their customers. After all, they've already got your money by the time delivery comes around, so you don't have much of a choice but to deal with their awful practices.

Among the many people worth a shout-out: designer Chaya Uzan whose enthusiasm and ideas gave us a sense that our project was quite special; and Robbie Goldberg, our day-to-day contact and project manager, who brought a craftsman's eye to all aspects of the job. When problems were encountered, problems were fixed. An example: once we installed a new oven in the kitchen we realized that we would have to do without a favorite built-in spice cabinet. Robbie came up with ingenious fix requiring some custom carpentry so that the spice rack did not disappear but became an integral of the whole. Anthony, our renovation expert, was our first contact with A to Z. He encouraged us not to give up on what we wanted the project to look like even though other renovators had told us it was impossible to do. He also offered to answer any questions we might have along the way. Then there's Shevy, the permit and insurance coordinator. She dealt with the necessary paperwork and kept the inspectors at bay so we did not have to deal with those headaches. And last but not least, Mario, the site manager, who was there every day, hands-on, always professional and pleasant. On that note, the entire team seemed to like one another and treated us and each other with a refreshing degree of decency and consideration. I have purchased a vanity (Fresca Lucera 24-in Espresso) from Lowes made by Fresca. DecorPlanet imports this product. After 2 years of complaining about various defects of this floating vanity and spending $2000 on the product and installation, DecorPlanet is offering me only excuses and no resolution. I would never purchase a Fresca product again and highly recommend you purchase your item from a different vendor. There are many more competitive vendors that sell better products and have better customer service that you can purchase from.
