Couldn't find what I wanted and was never satisfied with the other options. One day, My mom said that she remembered a tile shop in New Utrecht, BK, & I told her a shop came up in the list, but I could never make it part of my hunting list; I wouldn't make it in time, juggling work shopping in NJ & the city. It would have to be 1 trip directly there. So I did. When I entered the shop, right away I was greeted asked if I need help, and that made me comfortable. I'd been to a lot of these high end store all over Manhattan(& some in BK too) that were not inviting. Tiles were either huge slabs or mosaic, not my style. I saw so many 3x6 styles (but not the illusive 3x6 SS tile) I did find some alternatives, & I'm glad I committed myself to the decision & didn't look back The crew was more than helpful with emergencies & was waiting in the wing if other products didn't work out, & was more than helpful when i returned the excess This review is about 7 years late, but Thank you! Our Brooklyn Heights townhome suffered severe water damage due to a roof incident requiring a…read morecomplete overhaul of our kitchen. Shai came to the rescue, guiding us from start to finish with the end result exceeding our high expectations. He takes so much pride in his work and expertly urged us to make decisions that have resulted in a timeless, beautiful kitchen that has added substantial value to our home. There are so many good things to say about Decori Kitchens, but let me try to name a few: 1) To start, Shai showed endless patience in reworking our kitchen design numerous times to incorporate feedback and ensure I was getting what I wanted. 2) As the project moved forward, he also went way above and beyond to make sure I had all the extra details covered, even though I didn't know I needed them ... beautiful cabinet insides, top-of-the-line pulls, custom coffee containers, LED counter lighting, quarter sewn wood panels, chrome outlet covers, and on and on. It is clear that Shai takes great pride in his work and wants clients to have the best (within budget). Honestly, no detail was too small for him to consider. 3) Shai was very organized, sending calendar invites for key dates, presenting his proposals beautifully, measuring and remeasuring and going the extra mile with updates such as videos to show me the cabinet making in process, etc. 4) Designing and installing a brand new kitchen from scratch requires so much coordination with numerous parties. I never felt alone in the process, since Shai was always responsive in checking on dates, keeping me updated, picking up my calls, advocating on my behalf when we encountered delays with appliances, fabrication, etc. I'll end this review by saying I was not the easiest client, which is probably an understatement. I was engaged in a massive renovation that I hadn't expected or wanted, and doubted many decisions. I am writing this review with the renovation in the rear view mirror and a much greater knowledge base that has helped me understand the quality and craftmanship and incredible eye for design that went into our kitchen. Through sheer perseverance and endless patience and talent, Shai now has a devoted client who wishes she could give him more than 5 stars!

I spent a month working for him on an apartment remodeling project (mainly a kitchen with an island, an entryway cabinet, and bedroom cabinets) and completed everything he requested, including numerous revisions and additional tasks. A year and a half later, I still haven't been paid, and I am still planning to pursue a small claims case to recover the money owed. My review concerns how he treats the people who work with him. To me, failing to pay and then ghosting someone says something about his character and willingness to keep commitments. It has been truly disappointing.

The prices are reasonable and they cover most of the basics. They dont have cheese cloth which I needed one time. And the supply is limited to basics nothing fancy. They do have a lot of rice cookers and stainless pots and trays for large partys. My last purchase was 4 quart storage container with a lid. I needed to store some chicken soup and stock. The lid was priced seperate and not as one unit as part of the container. Which I though that was weird. Prices are in line with Amazon on most items. I wanted to be sure we had the right team and we spoke to many of the contractors here and got a few quotes. We spoke to a lot of good folks but there was something about Mike and Angel when they came to look at the space. My wife is a great cook and had some practical kitchen wishes and I wanted a pocket door, so the powder room door would no longer swing into the dining room. Sounds simple but I heard a lot of reasons why not. Really? Not Mike; easy, he said. And it was, or at least it seemed so. And not only did they do what we wanted, they did what we needed and did not know. Like hiding heating pipes we had lived with for years. The workmanship and clean finish they brought to the simplest things; even two weeks after completion we continue find neat little touches to please and amaze us. In the end the job came out better then we could have ever imagined. My wife had to go back and update her dreams to catch up with the new reality. As if that wasn't enough, these are some of the nicest guys you will ever meet and frankly we missed them after they were done. So if you have work needed around your house or apartment, these are the guys to call. But get in line, I have another job I need done....

This journey began with Menny Baranov. I had several questions about the site, it's ongoing sale, and a delayed delivery since my project was stalled but I did not want to miss out on the sale and opportunity. Menny worked with me to get everything packaged up and ready for purchase, helped me set up an account, and walked me through all of the required steps to make the purchase process simple and seamless. Next I had the opportunity to work with Mesha Edwards - Decor Planet's undercover superhero! She is a consumate professional and a model Decor Planet Team Member. Unfortunately I ran into a minor issue with delivery location and one of the vanities that showed up was damaged. I hope everyone recognizes all of the steps that occur in between an order to delivery, and many of these steps are in the hands of third parties that the merchant has little control over. The true test is how the merchant vendor responds to those issues. Mesha was the Superwoman of Customer Service. She worked tirelessly to make sure my experience was 100%, and that all issues were remedied as quickly as possible. Throughout the entire process she was positive, professional, and resourceful. Her warm and kind personality exuded through the phone and I could tell I was in good hands throughout the entire process. She navigated all of these unknowns through a pandemic and a high volume holiday period but the entire time made me feel as if the customer was her number one priority. In the end, my experience resulted in what every customer wants: A great user experience, an excellent product as advertised, and fantastic support when things don't necessarily go as smooth as everyone hopes. I highly recommend this company and their products (I will post photos when fully installed). It is great that they stand by those products with excellent customer service, which seems to be so rare these days. Thanks again Menny, Mesha, and the entire Decor Planet Team!
