We had our rehearsal dinner there on October 1st and Conrads was so accommodating to us. We actually asked to get there earlier and they had no problem with changing our time to accommodate us. I really enjoyed the food here, but think they still need to work out some things with the service. When we walked in, it took a while for one of the couple of people standing at the hostess station to acknowledge us (it was not busy). When seated, the girl placed two silverware settings down and ran off (we were a party of four). Once dinner came, my salad was missing the dressing and my friends fish and chips was missing the tartar sauce. Again, really enjoyed the food, so I plan on giving Conrad's another chance. read more

Went here with my husband tonight. Menus were presented with Specials on top. All Specials were alcoholic drinks. Big disappointment there. After we placed order we were asked if we wanted rolls. Really?? The rolls were straight out of package from supermarket. The "butter" tasted like margarine. There is nothing special about this place. I ordered fish and chips. Husband ordered chicken parm. My French fries were definitely frozen which were warmed in an oven. Portions were small. This place is a bar for people to bring their kids. I went here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. My family and I had been over at The Clayroom and decided to try this place since it was right across the street. What a disappointment! Service was so slow ! We had to go up to someone to seat us because we had waited so long while we were ignored. Then we were finally seated and once again had to go up to someone to send a waitress over because once again we had waited so long while being ignored. The food finally came... Calamari was ridiculously soggy and gross, nachos barely had any cheese or toppings. Only decent food were the potato skins. I will definitely not be going back here! read more

This is a go to place when there really is nothing else striking my fancy. I have never had bad food here, but sometimes the service can be a bit slow. There are usually decent specials catered to the seasons, and also they offer some yummy seasonal special drinks as well. This is a town staple. I like this location better then the original Norwood location, due to closeness to my house, parking and also seating choice (bar or dining room) depending on my mood. read more

went to conrads on Sunday, 9/10. 2 of us sat at second bar. Bartenders (roxi) and other one looked at us several times, but no one came over to take our order. Blond waiter walked by 4 times serving folks by the window. Never acknowledged we were there. Other waitstaff just standing around by the bathrooms/chatting, no one came over to see us. We've had terrible experiences at the Conrad's in Norwood so when one of our party picked Conrads in Walpole, my wife and I were a bit leery, especially when the place was nearly empty. Three of the party ordered steak tips and claimed they were good, except for cold veggies and mashed. I ordered the baked seafood plate. I've had better frozen dinners. I believe that this was precooked and then heated in a microwave. My wife did not enjoy her chicken parm which was bland and lukewarm at best. Neither Conrads will be in our future. There is just too many good restaurants to choose from, this wasn't one of them. read more

Very busy - waited about 15" but it was Sat nite so not unanticipated. waitress VERY surly, asked twice about temperature - once with waitress, once with hostess; potato skins got cold almost immediately because it was so cold - and were less than mediocre BTW...as were the rolls, French fries, onion rings (don't bother with these or skins ). Noisy, unfriendly atmosphere with lousy service and kids running around. I could have had the best main course ( which I did not) but experience was generally poor-bad. Been going there for several years; all the wait staff know us. They are all a hard working group of young men and women. Rarely have a food problem at lunchtime. Good burgers and other sandwiches. But beware of dinner! Apparently Conrad's just hasn't found the right chef yet. Ordered the short ribs tonite. The plate came with 3 large chunks of short ribs. One was all fat, totally, not edible. Second and third pieces were as hard as a brick; unable to tear apart. I sent it back and told our waitress how disgusted I was at the meal. She told the manager who took it off the bill (of course!) and never even came over to apologize. You know, they used to be better than that. read more

This is a good family restaurant, with a typical sports bar. I have been going here for about four years and I have never had a bad meal. The food is quite decent and I especially like their pasta dishes. The noise level can get load in the evenings due to the fact the bar is integrated right into the restaurant with no partitions, so its not really a good place to go for a date or if you wish for some place quiet in the evenings. (If you are looking for just a bar, this place is good for that, or eating at the bar--plenty of large TVs for watching the game). Otherwise, I certainly recommended this place for a good lunch or supper in Walpole! The Norwood center location is also a good one to check out. read more

Servers are too busy saving first come first serve seats for their buddies to allow customers to sit in them. We were stopped trying to sit in an open seat in the lounge area and were told by server they were being saved for his friends that were coming in. They were no other open seats and we left. Family is tired of cooking at home and decided to try takeout today for the first time since the quarantine. Hubby felt like having steak tips and remembered our neighbor saying that Conrad's has the best. We decided to give it a shot and ordered 3 steak tips dinners - 2 med rare, 1 med well. We did prepaid curbside pickup and our first impression after unpacking the bag at home was a) huge portions b) both potatoes and vegetable were in foil separate from the meat. Thoughtful packaging made for an appealing presentation by not running everything together. Great start but the best was yet to come. Tips were outstanding! Delicious marinade, fork tender, and cooked perfectly! I could have easily made 2 meals out of the tips, but they were so delicious that I ate the whole thing. Speaking for my husband and son as well, we give Conrad's steak tips our highest recommendation and we'll definitely be ordering again. read more

I got raw turkey tips!I mean RAW! So when the bill came around I assumed they would have taken them off bill, due to the fact I got them after everyone had almost finished! ( silly me) They never gave me a free dessert, manager never came over to apologize. The waitress (Maggie) actually agreed with me when I asked her why the turkey tips were still on the bill! Very disappointed! I usually go to the one in Norwood which I had a salad there once that had seen better days. We dine at the Walpole location weekly - terrible service with attitude on 2/16/14. We had Cassandra D as our waitress - She was good in the beginning - but when our meals were served my husband requested mustard for his hot pastrami sandwich - she didn't bother to come back - we waited 7 minutes or more for the mustard - I finally went to the register where she was standing and told her we were still waiting for the mustard - " I have other tables", I told her that was not my problem my husband would like to have his sandwich while it was still warm. She had another waitress bring the napkins and addl water. She did come back over to see if everything was alright. I told her it was now that everyone else has done her job! She never returned to give us the bill - my husband went to the hostess desk to request our bill - but it never came. We waited 10 minutes for the bill she still didn't give it to us. We processed to the hostess desk again and C. was at the register telling us thank you. I told her we didn't get our bill - where she proceeded to print it out - with the quote "I like doing my job myself".Really I think she picked the wrong job. We paid the bill with the hostess - we left her 2 cents- only because I didn't have the right change - Asked to speak to the manager per the hostess no manager was on duty till 3:30. While we were waiting for the bill the hostess had seated 2 couples at the table next to us - no one ever came to their table finally they asked the bartender who their waitress was - he ended up waiting on them - I wrote a feedback when I got home Sunday - no response from management of Conrad's. read more

Went here with 30 people for a pre-arranged dinner function. Service was horrible! Alcohol was to be paid with food bill by me--manager instead had servers hand out separate bills. I spoke to them about it and said to bill me and to collect all separate tabs. Nothing happened except that I had to pay for lousy service. Food took ages to come out and we were told we could bring a cake that they said they would cut. We asked them to bring the cake out and it took another age... it took so long to get them to cut it that we did it ourselves! Never again. read more

I had given this four stars, but the last few times we have been here it was terrible. Last night they said our pizza would be 25 minutes. 45 minutes later the pizza is ready, and it was disgusting. We specifically asked if the garlic was raw or roasted; they told us roasted so we said great! However, the pizza we were given not only had raw garlic on it, the garlic was clumped all over the pizza rather than evenly spread out. It was really gross tasting and looked awful. NO ONE came over to ask us if we wanted a drink, a menu or food. We got up and walked out after sitting there for 15 minutes feeling pretty unappreciated. Ordered the Captain's Plate... yuck. The portion size is irrelevant. The fish, shrimp and scallops were all flavorlessly breaded and supposedly broiled. No way. That food was microwaved! I scraped the breading off but it didn't help. The rice pilaf was boring and also flavorless. The vegetables were obviously previously frozen... mushy and flavorless.
