He said he opened the shop in the late 90s with his dad but now he just works it himself. I don't think he gets super busy but always has a steady flow of work. For example, I called about 5 days before to get my 4 brake pads replaced. I brought it in at 8am and picked it up by 11:15am. It was $170 for set so $340 flat (taxes included) for genuine Honda brake pads. I know Curry Honda does it for $190 a set so it's a slight discount but I know I won't have to wait forever. I took my car in for an alignment, and not that I am a race car driver, sensing every force on steering, still I can say the adjustments were observable, and obviously outstanding. I don't go to shops looking for friendships, but if you want to know the customer service was as it should be, not a lot of clamor. The important thing is when I had questions, they had answers. The waiting area was nice, and I know some shops where this is not a priority. The bathroom was clean, and that is a plus around a bunch of mechanics. Confidence in integrity matters. I went to a big box tire store, the name starts with "M", for an alignment a couple years ago. Before, doing so I had the tie rods replaced about 3 months prior. They they approached me with a story about those parts were worn, and to get a good alignment new ones were needed (costing big bucks). The issue here was what I was quoted for on repairs. Extremely expensive... for example my A/C was not working as there was a leak in the condenser. They quoted me $849.35 to repair the A/C, replace condenser, relay, and charge air conditioning system. I fixed the A/C for less than $80... bought a condenser for $25 and the charge for the A/C for less than like $15 and i was able to replace the condenser in less than 3 hours... They never worked on my car so I can't speak on what they are capable of but in terms of trust. I would be careful and get second opinions.
