This place is unethical!! I took my car here for repair. They charged me substantial amount of money for the repair, but the issue still didn't fix. I took my car back to them, and they were not happy and expressed that they didn't want to serve me. The owner said he is not responsible that the issue is not fixed. Then what did I paid you for? Nothing!! You didn't fix my car and took my money. You wasted my time. What other damages had you done to my car that I don't know about? You lost my trust and I will let everyone I know and don't know about your unethical business. You are very wrong for taking my money and are mad at me when I was politely talking to you about the work you failed to do. You took customer's money, didn't fix issue and didn't refund the money for the service you fail to do. If you can't do the work, then tell me. I take somewhere else. I took my car to another repair place, and they informed me that it was very wrong that he took my money and my car still didn't fix. I am disappointed because of your wrongful and unethical business. I am reporting them to Business Bureau for their unethical of doing business. read more

The owner did a beautiful job on my Dad's Toyota Camry that had close to a $4000 repair bill. The local Toyota dealership had a more expensive estimate. He showed me one of his side projects; the Volkswagen bug out front is an electric vehicle, converted with batteries from a wrecked Chevrolet Bolt. I've been using ABC Auto since moving to Des Moines last summer, and they are an absolutely great place to do business with. The men are all well versed in auto repair and maintenance, and they perform it quickly and efficiently. If you need to wait, there is a spiffy clean waiting room with restroom, and sometimes their lovely daughter is doing reception work. Not only are these guys efficient, in a business full of deceit (particularly for women car owners), ABC Auto stands heads above the others for is honest and economical pricing, along with easy-to-read documentation on your car repair.
