    Cappuccino (top), chai (bottom)

This place is amazing. The vibes, the people, the drinks -- 10/10. The baristas were so fun and gave great suggestions. I love a chai but am very particular and this chai was nice and spicy, flavorful, and so smooth. The cappuccino was so good we purchased beans. We also got a mug because of how cute it was. Shoutout to the locals who shared their stories, display their artwork, and introduced us to Tugboat (a large sweet baby of a Rottweiler). Do yourself a favor and take the ferry across the river to walk to such a fun coffee experience!

My local coffee shop! When I'm in the mood for some fresh coffee and don't feel like brewing it myself this is where I like to go! This location is always busy and is a popular spot for a caffeine fix, especially for people in the Algiers Point Area. It's a great place to work, hang out, or just get some stuff to go. I've done the latter two, and will soon be trying the first option. I like to bring my own coffee cup (reuse!) and get it filled with fresh black coffee. Sometimes if I'm peckish, I'll select a treat from their amazing bakery items. And they really are that good! The cookies and the pastries are absolutely worth it! Drinks: Lots of Caffeine options! Parking: Street parking. Outdoor Seating: There are a few places to sit outside. Dog Friendly: Absolutely!

It's a shame they dont have more milk options!! The staff were kind of standoffish but I get people have bad days, but it got to a point where they forgot to even put in my order and I had to ask them if they even had it and show my receipt. Ended up paying $16 for 2 hot lattes which is outrageous. I added a tip of course but I kind of regret it. Coffee was good I guess.

Large at another local shop for the same price as the "large" at congregation.... Make it make sense

Not sure where to start.... It's sad because it's the only coffee shop in the point but I only go if I am completely out of coffee at home. Their sizes are bonkers. The "large" is a small at every other coffee shop, but they'll charge you the same price. They constantly mess up orders (it's happened to me only once but I see it so much it's wild). Slow as molasses. Really nice baristas and atmosphere, just lacking in a lot of ways....

Took the easy ferry across Algiers Point to visit congregation and buy some of their beans and merch. The cortado and English muffin had me wishing this was my daily stop.

Congregation Coffee Roasters, a Brennan family coffee roaster, features a variety of coffee beans and ground coffee guaranteed to appeal to coffee enthusiasts. After trying the chicory blend featured at Brennan's restaurant, we decided to take the ferry to Algiers to buy whole beans (the restaurant has ground coffee to purchase). Well worth the journey across the Mississippi to stop in at this local coffee gem. A lovely local coffee spot with beautiful art work and friendly staff members. Super delightfully casual establishment. A great place for a cuppa coffee! wish I lived in Algiers- I'd become a regular!

We took the ferry to get to Congregation and it was a nice walk. I have been wanting to come back here because they have yummy pastries and this vanilla tahini latte that's incredible. They also used to make Mister Mao chai mix and I really want a bag of it haha We grabbed yogurt parfait, quiche, ham and cheese tang a blueberry muffin.

Great pistachio latte, you need to give it a try. New restaurant worth the try uptown

The proof is in the pudding, or should I say coffee. Pal friend Patty and I thought we would venture away from our regular spot after passing Congregation a zillion times. Very cute, neighborhood coffee joint. I love the vibe. We decided on breakfast sandwiches and our perspective coffee choices. I ordp o

Delicious coffee and housemade boudin. Docked one star for unfriendly service. A smile wouldn't kill anyone.

This unassuming spot in a strip mall was gorgeous inside. And it serves coffee, pastries, ice cream plus y'know candy. AND they roast their own nuts, spices and I guess coffee beans. There were definitely folks hanging out and enjoying a Turkish style coffee... I guess either the caffeine doesn't hit them the way it does me or they had no plans to sleep. The candy isn't labeled 100% correctly but you kind of know that gummy worms are not gummy strawberries. I tried an assortment bag of gummies and some of chocolates and the price was by the pound. Re got some freshly roasted unsalted cashews and they were delicious! Parking is easy in the strip mall lot. And as you step in you definitely leave Louisiana and step into another country.

They also carry some gummy and chocolate varieties, some spices, some boxed coffee, some Middle Eastern pastries. Only some things were labeled with either what it was or the price of it, so that was a little disorienting. I was surprised to find a cafe and gelato bar inside. The gelato flavors were incredible. I settled on popcorn caramel and baklava in a waffle bowl. An employee said that everything was made in-house. The price was standard considering that all was made there. The service was weird. I kept getting served after people who'd gotten there after me. My ice cream scoops were significantly smaller than my boyfriend's. Returning isn't high on my list of priorities, but I'm glad I tried them.

Still can't quite believe it, just how truly good this coffee was. Don't look to get anything else besides the vanilla cream cold brew, or you will miss out on the experience of a lifetime. Seriously, even if you aren't a sweet fan (I don't like super sweet coffee), this cold brew is so exquisite that it is sweet, yes, but in the way where it perfectly compliments your tastebuds with some sugary vanilla without going over the top, still letting the espresso take the spotlight. Even just the presentation of the dark roast coffee with the cream slowly dispersing into the deeps is so mesmerizing (see video/ pics if not understanding). One person in my party in specific had been to Coast Roast dozens of times before just to have this cold brew. He said anytime they return to New Orlaeans this is a must stop and they will bc one at least once a day every day they are in town. I didn't think there was any chance a coffee could stand up to hype like that. Also, I don't typically like cold brew anyways, so I was pretty unconvinced. Let me be the first to admit I was WRONG. I took one sip and was transported to a land of soft, billowing clouds, pink skies and coffee waterfalls (cold brew, specifically). Wow. I have dreamt of this coffee at least every week since I have been and the daydreams will continue until I can come back. It looks like I'll be stopping there every chance I get too, from now on.
