Amazing service and way better Lattes. I got the breakfast burrito and a regular latte my friend got the pistachio latte and she couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. She also got a quiche with kale and sausage and the crust was so flaky and delicious. We will be definitely be returning. Must try!!! Small quint coffee shop in a neighborhood quiet where you think and get some work done.

I wanted to do some reading outside of home so I went to Congregation to grab a snack and sit for a while. I walked in and the place wasn't crowded (probably due to the rain that day), but I was able to place my order quickly. I received my snack and drink quickly and sat. If you are looking to visit to read or study or do work, I do recommend you bring noise canceling headphones if sounds distract you. I get distracted The ceiling is high so noise is amplified, especially once other patrons occupy the space. But I enjoyed my time here. I was able to block out everything and get a nice amount of chapters covered. The tart was really good. Very toasty and flaky and the right amount of lemon. The honey tahini is my go-to beverage here, and it was delicious as always. This is a nice little neighborhood cafe!

My local coffee shop! When I'm in the mood for some fresh coffee and don't feel like brewing it myself this is where I like to go! This location is always busy and is a popular spot for a caffeine fix, especially for people in the Algiers Point Area. It's a great place to work, hang out, or just get some stuff to go. I've done the latter two, and will soon be trying the first option. I like to bring my own coffee cup (reuse!) and get it filled with fresh black coffee. Sometimes if I'm peckish, I'll select a treat from their amazing bakery items. And they really are that good! The cookies and the pastries are absolutely worth it! Drinks: Lots of Caffeine options! Parking: Street parking. Outdoor Seating: There are a few places to sit outside. Dog Friendly: Absolutely!

It's a shame they dont have more milk options!! The staff were kind of standoffish but I get people have bad days, but it got to a point where they forgot to even put in my order and I had to ask them if they even had it and show my receipt. Ended up paying $16 for 2 hot lattes which is outrageous. I added a tip of course but I kind of regret it. Coffee was good I guess.

Large at another local shop for the same price as the "large" at congregation.... Make it make sense

Not sure where to start.... It's sad because it's the only coffee shop in the point but I only go if I am completely out of coffee at home. Their sizes are bonkers. The "large" is a small at every other coffee shop, but they'll charge you the same price. They constantly mess up orders (it's happened to me only once but I see it so much it's wild). Slow as molasses. Really nice baristas and atmosphere, just lacking in a lot of ways....

Congregation Coffee Roasters, a Brennan family coffee roaster, features a variety of coffee beans and ground coffee guaranteed to appeal to coffee enthusiasts. After trying the chicory blend featured at Brennan's restaurant, we decided to take the ferry to Algiers to buy whole beans (the restaurant has ground coffee to purchase). Well worth the journey across the Mississippi to stop in at this local coffee gem. A lovely local coffee spot with beautiful art work and friendly staff members. Super delightfully casual establishment. A great place for a cuppa coffee! wish I lived in Algiers- I'd become a regular!

Took the easy ferry across Algiers Point to visit congregation and buy some of their beans and merch. The cortado and English muffin had me wishing this was my daily stop.

We took the ferry to get to Congregation and it was a nice walk. I have been wanting to come back here because they have yummy pastries and this vanilla tahini latte that's incredible. They also used to make Mister Mao chai mix and I really want a bag of it haha We grabbed yogurt parfait, quiche, ham and cheese tang a blueberry muffin.

    apparently very delicious

The proof is in the pudding, or should I say coffee. Pal friend Patty and I thought we would venture away from our regular spot after passing Congregation a zillion times. Very cute, neighborhood coffee joint. I love the vibe. We decided on breakfast sandwiches and our perspective coffee choices. I ordp o

They also carry some gummy and chocolate varieties, some spices, some boxed coffee, some Middle Eastern pastries. Only some things were labeled with either what it was or the price of it, so that was a little disorienting. I was surprised to find a cafe and gelato bar inside. The gelato flavors were incredible. I settled on popcorn caramel and baklava in a waffle bowl. An employee said that everything was made in-house. The price was standard considering that all was made there. The service was weird. I kept getting served after people who'd gotten there after me. My ice cream scoops were significantly smaller than my boyfriend's. Returning isn't high on my list of priorities, but I'm glad I tried them.

This unassuming spot in a strip mall was gorgeous inside. And it serves coffee, pastries, ice cream plus y'know candy. AND they roast their own nuts, spices and I guess coffee beans. There were definitely folks hanging out and enjoying a Turkish style coffee... I guess either the caffeine doesn't hit them the way it does me or they had no plans to sleep. The candy isn't labeled 100% correctly but you kind of know that gummy worms are not gummy strawberries. I tried an assortment bag of gummies and some of chocolates and the price was by the pound. Re got some freshly roasted unsalted cashews and they were delicious! Parking is easy in the strip mall lot. And as you step in you definitely leave Louisiana and step into another country.

Still can't quite believe it, just how truly good this coffee was. Don't look to get anything else besides the vanilla cream cold brew, or you will miss out on the experience of a lifetime. Seriously, even if you aren't a sweet fan (I don't like super sweet coffee), this cold brew is so exquisite that it is sweet, yes, but in the way where it perfectly compliments your tastebuds with some sugary vanilla without going over the top, still letting the espresso take the spotlight. Even just the presentation of the dark roast coffee with the cream slowly dispersing into the deeps is so mesmerizing (see video/ pics if not understanding). One person in my party in specific had been to Coast Roast dozens of times before just to have this cold brew. He said anytime they return to New Orlaeans this is a must stop and they will bc one at least once a day every day they are in town. I didn't think there was any chance a coffee could stand up to hype like that. Also, I don't typically like cold brew anyways, so I was pretty unconvinced. Let me be the first to admit I was WRONG. I took one sip and was transported to a land of soft, billowing clouds, pink skies and coffee waterfalls (cold brew, specifically). Wow. I have dreamt of this coffee at least every week since I have been and the daydreams will continue until I can come back. It looks like I'll be stopping there every chance I get too, from now on.

You gotta go. It's New Orleans!!!…read more Cafe du Monde is one of those places where you just have to embrace the chaos, get powdered sugar all over your body and have some fun with it. The beignets + cafe au lait are exactly what you want, and it's such a perfect spot to sit, relax, people watch and take in all the New Orleans craziness around you. My favorite time to go is either really late at night or ridiculously early in the morning. Both just hit different. Also... CASH ONLY!!! If you sit at a table the servers come to you quick! Powdered sugar covered clothes are basically a souvenir. 10/10 New Orleans experience.

I'd literally been told I had to go here so many times that by the time I landed in New Orleans, I pretty much made a beeline straight for this legendary cafe. This cafe is located right outside Jackson Square right off the waterfront. They are open late, as they close at either 11p or 12am every day. When we went in the middle of the afternoon, the place was very busy as it was hard to find a table in their outside patio, so we settled for a table in the indoor section(A/C SCORE!!). The ground was littered with powdered sugar as customers like myself don't always understand how to eat these beignets without making a big mess. The beignets themselves were pretty inexpensive as they cost only $4.53 for a 3-pack. I also got a large frozen coffee for $7.70. The beignets were delivered to our table very fast and very warm. The movie "Chef" says you only get your first bite of your first beignet from Cafe Du Monde once in your life and to cherish the moment and I do truly understand what they meant with that quote. These beignets were so great and that first bite with the powdered sugar explosion was so amazing-I really enjoyed the recklessness of having a beignet at Cafe Du Monde. Overall, I feel that anyone who visits New Orleans has to find their way to this legendary cafe and enjoy this dish that has been served since 1862. A really great bite!.
