There is an injustice in this world when Conforti has 4/5 stars and yet the worst and most expensive plumber I have ever experienced has 4.8/5 on Yelp (remains unnamed). Something is seriously wrong with the system. Conforti sent an excellent, personable, entertaining, skilled, and overall great plumber out and charged a very reasonable fee. Both me and my father have had great experiences with Conforti. read more

From Steven and Jenell. RE: Water heater repair. We have nothing but good things to say about Conforti Plumbing. Responsive, kind, professional, on time, excellent work and fair price. Thanks to all involved!! read more

We use Confortis Plumbing at my work all the time. The staff is super friendly from the moment you call-through the entire job, they have extremely reasonable rates and do a fantastic job. I decided to come on and give them a review after they handled the last call out so well. Quick appt time, Duane came out and had everything completed in less than an hour and a half at a great rate! read more

We had a pipe leaking water outside my house in el dorado hills, and requested a plumbing service after 5pm, so it was treated as an emergency service, about 5 minutes after the request, we decided to wait til the next day and called to cancel the service request, the next day we still got charged for about half of the quote price ($500). Such cancellation policy was not disclosed during the request and authorization call, it's hard to believe that the service person has already started the work only 5 minutes after the request, and charging half of the quote price is unreasonable, I wouldn't use the company next time. read more

Cannot say enough about this company! From the minute we called for service to completion of the job, we received nothing but professionalism, punctuality and honesty. Thank you to Kristy for helping assure us our rental property issue would be taken care of in a timely and affordable manner. We were quoted more than double what Conforti Plumbing charged us! This is our new "go to" plumbing company for our future needs!!!!! read more

It should not take two weeks to receive a quote...and then we learned, from another plumbing company, that the service we were requesting was not advised. Last minute Saturday call. They came fast , cleared the drain. Great service. Always happy with them.

So incredibly fast service and a very wonderful plumber that showed up. Josh was quick, very neat and so happy that he fixed my garbage disposal. After he left I couldn't fine one of my cats, so I called the office and a wonderful lady went out to check Josh's van just in case my baby got in. That was over and above customer service and thank you. I did find my baby. read more

A couple days ago we discovered that our basement ceiling was heavily leaking. After calling a couple of plumbers (with no response) we decided to try Conforti based on community recommendations. Derick and Scott were the guys that came out and we LOVE them. They were professional, friendly, and considerate. Despite my instructions to "cut open whatever you need to find the leak" they were neat and professional and located the leak in an unexpected spot, but fairly quickly. They kept me informed of their progress throughout the process and were done before I knew it. I am THRILLED with their work and wouldn't hesitate to use Conforti again. read more

Two different service calls to Conforti and both times super happy with the results. The first experience was calling from out of town to replace the broken toilet. Christy in the office recommended a certain replacement toilet which was one I was familiar with and had great reviews. Price was super reasonable, and they came out the next day. The second service call was to replace a valve on an older shower. They had to order the part, but I was so impressed by how careful the technician was when he worked. We were able to replace just the valve and keep the older shower assembly. I was so grateful to not have to rip out tile or replace the entire unit. So, would I recommend them? Yes!!! BTW I'm a very picky Realtor who rehabbed houses as part of my job. I am new to the area, and Comforti is exactly the kind of company I like to use again and again.....and I will be using them again in the future! read more

WOW.... Just WOW... We hired Conforti to come out and investigate a pesky leak for us in our kitchen. One of their techs accidentally left a small area behind our fridge leaking, and it headed down the wall into the bedroom right under the kitchen. I called about it. They sent the tech back out. He confirmed. Today the owner (Nick) and a drywall expert just left the house. they worked on the wall for about two hours. Then, Nick told us to call our own painter, find out what the work and cost was going to be. Then to have the painter call Nick directly. Conforti will pay the for the COMPLETE fix!! Now, that is what I call GREAT customer service! Shop local, and you will not be disappointed!!!!! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this company. The customer service from the office was amazing. The plumber was spectacular. It was a very difficult plumbing issue with my sink. He said he's never seen anything like it in all the years he's been a plumber. But he figured it out and solved the problem. I highly recommend this company!!! read more

Requested help to clear clogged toilet. After first serviceman thought he had cleared found toilet was still clogged after he left. Called them and they came out again and did more work and found problem and there was no additional cost to me. The second call was cover by warranty. Conforti has a 12 month warranty. Very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. read more

I was super happy with their service provided with Conforti a plumbing. I was dealing with a nightmare issue through our home warranty and our home warranty company sent out some horrific plumbers that were actually acting in a fraudulent manner. I was rather nervous to see what was to come from the new plumbers that were assigned to me (Conforti) and they were SUPER responsive, quick to schedule and appointment, very friendly and professional on the phone and in person and assessed our plumbing issue quickly. When they came back to complete the job, they did a great job with the situation at hand. They had to cut through stucco to access the pipes: they made a very clean cut, and very easy to get it repaired. The job was done well and they cleaned up after completion. I definitely will keep them on speed dial for future needs! read more

Very nice, professional and friendly. Wonderful service. Great emergency service. Highly recommended.

My water heater's pilot light suddenly went out. Considering it's been in the 30s in temp and we couldn't relight it, I called my First Home Warranty to get someone out immediately. They put the order out to a Plumbing company I'd never heard of and gave me an appointment for 10 days out! I requested that First American get me Conforti Plumbing that I've used in the past and knew that they are good and reliable. It took another day to to get it okayed. I called Conforti and explained that it was a quick repair and they gave me an appointment for 2 days later. They put me on the list for any cancellations for a sooner appointment. They called the next day and showed up 20 minutes later and fixed my water heater in less than a half hour when he replaced the ignition switch. The service person was very nice and efficient. He took the time to explain what was wrong and reassure me that it was good to go. I've used Conforti Plumbing before and they have always given outstanding service. read more

My bathroom sink was leaking and 1st plumber couldn't figure it out and his suggestion was ridiculous. I'm new to the area and knew I had to find a reliable plumber so I reached out to the community for recommendation. Two recommended Conforti. I called Conforti on Monday and they sent Wayne on Tuesday. He soon found the source of the leak, but fixing it took a long time due to how the pedestal sink had been installed. He was so diligent in determining how he could accomplish the repair. Had to make couple trips to hardware store. I was so impressed with his desire to fix it and did so in a very professional manner!! I was very happy with the result. I'm also thrilled to know I now have a reliable plumbing company I can call when needed. Conforti Plumbing is who you should call when help is needed. Such fast service and work completed quickly by competent staff. Wayne is great!! read more

I had a septic emergency, which is code "bad stuff coming out of my pipes". It was the Saturday before super bowl and I had family coming over. They got there quick, and even though my house is old and the pipes are confusing, the guys went above and beyond to clear it out and make my home his table again. I hope this never happens again, but if it does, I know who I'm calling. read more

I called with an unknown (but possibly major) issue on a Thursday evening, and was scheduled for the following Tuesday. I know plumbers are busy so I was super happy to get an appointment within a week! On Monday I received a call from them that they could help me early. I was delighted! The technician, Alex arrived, and within minutes correctly diagnosed my issue and why it happened, and told me what was going to be done to fix it and how. The entire time Alex was here he was kind, professional, knowledgable, and just a pleasure to be around in an awful situation. He made me comfortable the entire time with his obvious skill and expertise. Within a few hours he had the situation fixed, and our home back in good spirits. Thank you, Conforti Plumbing, and thank you Alex! read more

We had a big problem under our house with some broken pipes. The men that came out were efficient and polite. Great service. Great price !! Always reliable and gets the job done at an affordable price. Thank you so much for your service!

Home warranty dispatched this company for water heater issue. First technician was great and tentatively diagnosed problem as clogged inlet screen. He advised he wasn't able to clear the problem because he wasn't certified for the brand, so he sent his partner out the next week. Second technician from Conforti was a total jerk from the very beginning. After about an hour of working on the unit, this man claimed he wouldn't look at the water heater because it had apparently been installed incorrectly, or so he says. Not sure what he was doing in the attic for an hour if he said he wouldn't look at it. He told me I had to fix all the problems before he looked at the unit. He then assured me he serviced the unit and we'd have hot water now. We didn't have hot water, and he left. Long story short, this company then refused to work with our home warranty company and wouldn't return our calls. The rude female receptionist didn't answer any questions and it was obvious this company doesn't like dealing with home warranty customers. She then told me to leave a message with her manager, which I did. I still haven't got a call back in over 2 weeks. Soooo...we hired another plumbing company and spent $200 of our own money. They came out and diagnosed the issue like the first guy from conforti did, a clogged screen. They fixed this simple problem and we have hot water. Had conforti just done their job we'd have had hot water weeks ago and only paid the $75 fee to the home warranty company, but instead we paid $275 and dealt with 2+ weeks of cold water and dozens of hours on the phone with home warranty company and arguing with conforti. This place should not be allowed to work with home warranty companies. read more

Excellent service, fast, friendly, fair price. Had a pressure regulator that they needed to fix and unlike some other plumbers that wanted to charge double - or more - perhaps because they felt I might be under duress or was born yesterday - Conforti's work actually came in below their phone quote - it all checked out - parts, what would be a reasonable upcharge on those parts (which they showed up with in hand vs me ordering/picking up at HD), and an hour of labor. (Job only took 20 min but still super fair). You're my new go-to now, thanks Conforti! read more

Conforti was one of my only options for septic repairs in my area of El Dorado County. I have had two unpleasant experiences with them and will not work with them again. Most recently, an experienced technician came to my house last fall to examine a septic alarm. He dismantled a bunch of the wiring in the control panel, charged me by the hour to do that work (about $250), and gave me a verbal quote of approx $2000 to fix the problem, but told me he would give me a "good deal" because I "seemed like a nice lady" and would email a quote over that afternoon. I was grateful and sent him home with homemade toffee. I never heard back from Conforti after that. For 4 months I continued to call them to get a quote and a repair plan in place for my now dismantled electrical control panel. I called no less than 5 times and spoke to several different women in the office who, *each* time, asked for my name, number, email, and insisted that they'd send a quote over asap once they spoke with the technician. I got various quotes over the phone, once I was quoted another inspection fee, that I'd already paid, but I was never given a firm and final written up description of the issue that I paid to have diagnosed, nor did I ever get a written, finalized quote. In February I eventually called another company and got my issue fixed. Until then, I had to manually run my pump every week, and keep my septic lid uncovered through the winter so I could look into the sump to make sure I wasn't going to flood my house or my leech lines with backed up septic. My disappointment with Conforti is not only in the awful customer service, but in the dishonest business practices. The tech was there to diagnose an alarm issue but insisted that he could only do the repair if our sump was essentially rebuilt for thousands more than we ended up paying to fix the issue - in the end, the repair ended up being an electrical issue, not a plumbing issue - no part of my sump was rebuilt to resolve my alarm issue, despite the grandiose assessment from Conforti's tech. read more

What an incredible experience! Our kitchen sink and garbage disposal backed up while our house was on the market to sell. In a panic, I called a couple of plumbers only to find they were booked two weeks out. After I called Conforti to explain our situation, the office personnel promptly scheduled an appointment two days later but also put me on the on-call list for the end of the day. Four hours later, Ally called to let me know someone would be there by day's end! Dave was timely, efficient, and personable. He even loved on our dog before the visit ended. I will always call Conforti first from now on. Thank you! read more

Our 5 year old water heater was leaking and Safe Cali Plumbing was assigned by First American home warranty. A total of 5 visits to our house. 3 to assess and 2 to attempt to repair we received tons of run around and they ended up reporting to our warranty company that there was no failure. We had to reopen our case and since we've had the best of luck with Conforti I requested them instead. They sent a plumber out almost immediately. He inspected everything and fixed it on the same day. Said our water expansion tank had completely failed. Problem solved. No more leaking. We won't be using any assigned plumber again. We have had the best of luck with Conforti every time and we will be sure to request them in the future. Lesson learned. read more

I have a 250' length of 4 inch PVC pipe used for irrigation water which was blocked by roots and silt. Wayne from Conforti Plumbing came and used the "Jetter" to clean it out. This exposed a significant leak, so I arranged to have them come back with their camera equipment to locate the break in the pipe. While the camera is not generally useful in finding breaks in a pipe like that, Wayne was able to locate the break (along with roots which likely contributed to the breakage and the blockage). They also pin pointed the location of the leak so we would know where to start digging. Once we get the pipe uncovered, Conforti will be scheduled to repair the damaged pipe. Very impressed with their work. read more

We had a water leak in our guest bathroom. Called to have Conforti Plumbing help with finding the leak. Found it was the wax ring from the toilet and a valve. We asked them to seal the leak because we were going to have to have the floor replaced. The way they sealed the or capped the toilet was they asked my husband if we had some paper towels and garbage bags. So unsanitary. My husband being the nice guy and trusting them paid them for there service. See photos below. Be careful if you choose to work with them I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

We had some plumbing needs at our cabin in Pollock Pines. Two plumbers arrived; one a seasoned plumber and the second a trainee. Both were very professional, knowledgeable and got the job done. The issue I had was when I presented the bill and charged for two servicemen: the seasoned plumber at $115. an hour and the trainee at $75. per hour. Huh? I contacted the office and was credited 1.5 of the 3.5 hours billed for the trainee, but I believe if they're going to charge for two plumbers that the time to disclose this would not be when presenting the final bill. Who pays $190. an hour for a plumber? Both servicemen were very good and I would rate them with 5 stars. Conforti's business practice has taken what otherwise would have been a 5 star rating to a 3 star rating. read more

I had an awful experience with them. Not only did I waste money and they didn't solve my problem... they made an unnecessary hole in my wall which will cost me many hundreds of dollars to fix. The problem was solved by another company. Also, if I had listened to their recommendation, I would have spent thousands of dollars digging up my septic which wasn't necessary. When I told the whole story to a knowledgable neighbor and the other plumber that solved my problem, they were shocked. Maybe for a quick fix of an obvious issue, they might work fine since they come out quickly compared to others, but beyond that: AVOID! read more
