Expensive overall. Service was very attentive, they have a lot of staff and are prepared for big crowds. The gaming part is described well in other reviews. I'll foot stomp that it's not adults only, on a Friday night the place was overrun with teens which was unexpected, though everyone was well behaved. The gaming is not linear and it's hard to interact with a large group, you'll lose anyone who is not in your small group of six or so to the mass of games. The wait times for the game rooms were manageable and their tech works really well. Some games were more fun and better than others. The head to head dodgeball, light smacking games were the most fun. I'm not sure I would do another big event there but many of our group left super happy. I'd come back with a smaller group of friends, 4-6 and go through with them.

The new Tyson's Plaza is the coolest thing to happen to the DMV! The Plaza is the outdoors space,…read morepart lawn and filled with fountains (depending on the season), complete with a kid's playground right next to the new Shake Shack, human-sized chess and checkers game boards, and lots of really futuristic, comfy seating spaces! The Plaza also connects a few buildings, including the Tyson's Corner Mall Itself, Lord and Taylor's upstairs, the office building which just happens to be where I work sometimes :D, and eventually will also connect the new apartments, the Tyson's Metro, the new hotel, a restaurant or two, and I'm sure way more!! This space is not only cool because it serves as a great connection space (literally), but it is also used as a concert and movie space on Friday and Saturday nights, respectively! I actually saw Andy Grammer in concert with friends here just a couple weeks ago. It was awesome! I really look forward to seeing what else will pop up in or around The Plaza, but I'm sure it will be nothing less than fabulous!

Unless your in a fiat/mini, there's no chance you can make a u-turn to go find parking. You also cannot park in the strip mall next door, even though it has ample free parking./

I enjoyed their teachers, but my kids just didn't get into the program, which was very very surprising. 5 and 12, and tragically bored and unentertained, apparently. The art was good, but just not their type of camp, they weren't having fun. Not to mention the rude interaction with the director. Not for us.

And forget about using the family change room "cabanas" to escape that situation because they had standing water pooled up on the floor and no one wants to walk through dirty water when they take a shower. Then there's the swim teams that take over the pool and all the shouting/echoing from the coaches in such a small natatorium, it was hardly relaxing. Sadly, it was just a very stressful experience.

I've been to Oak Mont, Providence, Audrey Moore…read more Amenities: -pool - ranging from 0 to 12 ft deep, has ~10 lanes, during the day though there are often classes or team practice, so best to do lap swimming during the day -locker room - showers, separate family or senior changing rooms (4x) -hot tub -sauna -cardio equipment - treadmill, ellipticals, bikes -indoor track -weight room - dumbbells, machines, squat rack -basketball court/pickleball court -pilates studio - no sure if you have to pay extra but there was a class going on when I looked in -various dance style rooms for classes Where to put your stuff -there are generally a lot of open cubbies throughout the facility -any lockers will require a quarter, you can't use your own lock --wish they would change them to normal lockers -bleachers in the pool area and basketball court -some chairs at the ends of the pool lanes Cleanliness/Overall Experience -dry land (yes I am a swimmer) equipment and areas seem to be pretty clean -swimming - ok if you swim in the early mornings, but lanes are a bit narrow and you will likely have to share. If you are a lap swimmer, it will be tough getting a lane in the evening -locker rooms - eh ok for a public facility like this but expect mold, hair, and other gunk in showers. Definitely lots of room for improvement for shower cleanliness -staff have been warm and helpful -value - their membership does allow you to use all the Fairfax rec centers, so if you do that, then it is a decent value. Still a struggle if you are a lap swimmer like myself. If they could have better cleaning in their facilities and more dedicated time to lap swimmers then it would be an amazing value.

We have attended tumbling classes through Arlington County and this is far more engaging for him - they incorporate some active skills, but also use puppets, sing songs, and learn about different objects. It keeps the kids engaged and active far more than some of the other things we have done. My son is also learning to follow directions and interact with different teachers, which I really like as a stepping stone to preschool since he doesn't attend yet. The teachers are good, but Ms Lena really stands out as someone super comfortable and warm with the kids. The facility is new so it is certainly very nice and clean. And finally, I really like the easy online account access. We have had to do a few makeup classes (awesome that they offer this - especially because it encourages people to leave sick kids home!) and it is super easy to go online and select a class to attend for makeup. Your account will also keep track of how many makeups you have. Obviously my husband and I are very pleased! My only small complaint is that I wish they would offer a sibling class and perhaps they will down the road. I would love to be able to have my two toddler boys together in one class, but since the skills and content seem to be pretty age specific, I'm not totally sure how that would work!

They lied and said they called me in advance to cancel and then admitted that was not true. They were reluctant to refund me (I still have not gotten my money back) and wanted to give me camp credit instead. We will never return. Be warned this is not a trustworthy or reliable business, and I would not trust them with my kids again. They also would not tell me the managers or owners name or give me their contact info.
