I found Loco Gymnastics Club and could not be happier. Winter and her team have provided my girl the best experience. They have an awesome after school program that helps me a ton & their gymnastics coach is the best! They have been placing 1st & 2nd in competitions and are spot on celebrating birthdays and events at the owners farm. I'm so relieved for her to be able to try so many new things in one place with individuals that are clearly looking out for our kids! I'm posting a couple of pictures I took so my daughter will always have these memories! If you want to get your kid into gymnastics or need an after school program I really recommend Loco Gymnastics!!!

Please do not send your children to this camp! Voted best in 2020? HOW?!?!…read more No idea clue where your child is during the day, when they are going to eat, minimal supervision on site, and SERIOUS sanitation issues. My child attended for 2 weeks and they changed the location of their daily field trips multiple times, with no notification to parents. If my child is supposed to be going to Frying Pan Park, but instead goes to the owners house / farm in Berryville...I should be notified. Poor planning to the point that the kids didn't eat their packed lunch (bc it was left onsite) and instead received a rice krispy treat as a snack. They finally ate LUNCH onsite around 3pm. Majority of the day is free-time in the back gym while "grown ups are at the front on their phones", where a wall blocks any view. To top it off, my child said multiple times there were no paper towels in the bathroom and at least twice no toilet paper. I witnessed this first hand we went to bathroom before leaving, there were no paper-towels and the hand soap was empty! The owner pulled out a bar of soap from under the sink and asked staff to bring paper towels. When non were found, she went next door and brought them, claiming the business next door (the martial arts place she will include as an activity) borrowed them. She then proceeded to argue that the cleaning staff stocks nightly. Ignoring the fact that these items were not present in the bathroom when the children needed them!!! The owner also said their ratio is 5:1 but most field trips are her and 1 other lady. Multiple 7 year olds (mine and others) have no reason to lie about who attended a field trip. When confronted for any issues, Mrs. Winter (the owner) claims everything is for the children...but the truth is it's her bottom line matters more. Any caring person (or teenager) would never run a camp like this. In summary: If you don't want to know where your kid is during the day, what staff is present, when they will eat, how they wipe or wash their hands, sign up.

Everything was so beautifully maintained, I remember remarking to my fiance how impressive the landscaping was and how luscious everything looked, especially during peak summer heat! We also had an amazing experience touring with Christine! She is so fun, warm, and enthusiastic - she made us even more excited for our wedding! Ceresville was the first venue we toured and we had no idea what we were doing or what to ask. But Christine was so patient, thorough, and helpful! She answered all of our questions and was just as helpful/responsive with all of our follow-up questions afterward. She is truly sunshine in a person and we're sad we won't get to work with her for our wedding. Even though we didn't ultimately go with Ceresville (due to logistical reasons.. it's about 1.5 hours from us), I would still recommend checking them out as part of your venue search!

Easter flew past before i could tell you of our kid's outing to Clark's Elioak Farm (Apr 2026)…read more It's a place full of fun outdoor activities and critters on MD-108 Clarksville Pike, west of US-29 just past Centennial Lane. We took a three-year-old there for an outing in bright slightly-cool weather. Up until Easter, they had easter-egg hunts all day, separated each time into age-groups, smartly organized so that the kids trade in the eggs afterwards for a goodie-bag, so the competition for eggs wasnt too fierce. We took a train ride around the farm. And the newest pony was still getting used to the situation, so instead of riding, we joined in gentle grooming and pampering. A lovely fun morning! It's on a 7th-generation family-owned farm, and it's open Tuesday-Sunday and some Mondays, 11-5 or so. There's low-cost tickets for entry and for some of the activities, and there's lots of free parking. Their produce stand is open July-Sep. And after the olds reminisce about the restored decor that Clark's Elioak Farm rescued 20 years ago from good old Enchanted Forest, there's a nice (unrelated) wine bar and restaurant across the street :-)

During my recent trip back to Baltimore, my friends and I made reservations for four on a Saturday night. I'll admit, I was convinced my GPS had failed me when it led me into a business park. Just when I was ready to question my phone's navigation , BlueStone appeared like a hidden gem. The restaurant was large and looked upscale from the outside with plenty of free parking, making the first impression even better. We were seated immediately, and the hostess greeted us with a genuine smile that made us feel right at home. The ambiance is warm and inviting with a perfect blend of casual elegance. There are several dining spaces throughout the restaurant, including private rooms that would be ideal for birthdays, rehearsal dinners, or other special occasions. Our server was attentive without hovering and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our evening. We kicked things off with cocktails, including a French 75, White Cosmo, and Blackberry Bandit. Every drink was expertly crafted, but the French 75 was the undeniable star of the night, I enjoyed it so much I ordered a second. When it came to dinner, my friends all chose the crab cake entrée and they all enjoyed their food ( they are locals), proving that Bluestone knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to a well made crab cake. I ordered the Ocean & Gulf entrée. My dish included a jumbo lump crab cake, deep-sea scallops, and Gulf shrimp served over forbidden black rice with sautéed vegetables in a honey garlic beurre blanc. Every component was cooked perfectly, and the flavors blended together so well that each bite felt like a little celebration. It was one of those meals where the conversation pauses because everyone is too busy enjoying the food. As if dinner wasn't enough, we finished with Taharka Brothers Honey Graham and Vanilla Bean ice cream. It was creamy, rich, and the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. BlueStone exceeded my expectations from the moment I pulled into the parking lot until the last spoonful of dessert. Great service, good prices, decent portions and expertly prepared food and cocktails. Definitely an atmosphere that's perfect for everything from date night, a family celebration, to a girls' night out. This has officially earned a spot on my list of must visit restaurants every time I come back to Baltimore.
