Princess Parties of DC were a total hit at my son and daughter's joint bday party last weekend. They were accommodating and so easy to work with. We had superhero's, frozen characters, singing, dancing. It was a blast. Can't recommend them enough. read more

We had a great experience with this company. We have twins and they both wanted to have a Frozen-themed birthday. In order to keep them both happy, we knew that we had to hire not just a princess, but her friendly side kick Olaf. I was thrilled to find this company, which offered a wide range of princesses, including Elsa, along with the snowman. I had no idea Olaf would be so tall! He took it all in stride and Elsa helped him get into my house for my kids' large birthday party. Admittedly, I had low expectations for the performance. But I have to say, Elsa was on point. Not only was she able to manage the many kids, but she kept the show going with interactive games and she had an incredible voice. Olaf was also really good with rolling with the punches. The kids were so excited to see him and he continued to stay in character even if the 5-year-olds were pushing to see him. I had several parents ask for a referral. It was a wonderful addition to our party theme and our kids are still talking about it. I was somewhat reluctant to have a character appearance, but I'm so happy that I did. I could tell our kids felt special in that moment and seeing them smile and jump in delight when they arrived was well worth the money spent. read more

We used Princess Parties of DC for my granddaughter's 5th Bday party and they were amazing. We had a face painter and the star of the show, Ariel. The face painter was excellent, fast and was able to get to each child, even some adults. Ariel sang, and did activities with the kids and was very entertaining and engaging. read more

Princess Parties of DC absolutely exceeded every expectation for my daughter's fourth birthday. We had "Moana" come to our house, and she completely made the party. From the moment she arrived, I barely had to do anything. She kept the kids entertained the entire hour and made it feel effortless. Moana (Lily!) was incredible. She played freeze tag with the kids, taught them a short hula dance, and led a parachute game that had everyone laughing and fully engaged. She even came prepared with a craft: the girls made princess crowns and the boys made superhero masks. Every child was included and having a blast. She took so many sweet photos with the kids and made each one feel special. I was so impressed with Lily's energy, professionalism, and warmth. Several parents came up to us afterward to say it was the best party they or their child had ever attended. This wasn't our first experience with Princess Parties of DC, and it's clear why they're so wonderful. The owner, Jacklyn, truly cares about the quality of her performers and the experience they create for families. I recommend them to everyone I know. If you're on the fence, book them. You won't regret it. read more

Amazing experience from the start. They made my daughter's 5th birthday. The way she melted when Elsa surprised her was priceless. The kids all had a blast. Beautiful singing and entertainment. Highly recommend! read more

We had a PHENOMENAL experience with Princess Parties of DC for my daughter's 4th birthday. Jacklyn was quick to respond and easy to talk with, providing clear info/timelines. Anna and Elsa (Kayla and Jessica) were outstanding entertainers. Everything from their costumes to their voices were spot on - all of the kids believed they were the real princesses! They really made my daughter feel special, while also ensuring the other kids were included. They did a great job of reading and responding to the room, were flexible, and packed a LOT into an hour. The entire experience, from first contact to follow up, was seamless and easy. Thank you, Princess Parties of DC, for a magical birthday party! read more

I highly recommend Princess Parties of DC to make your daughter or son's bday party truly magical! We had a Neverland themed party for my 4 year old. Tinkerbell (Kayla!) and Peter Pan (Alex!) entertained almost 40 kids for an entire hour - crowning the birthday girl, songs, dancing, games, a craft, they covered everything and are truly pros. Also my daughter gets nervous in crowds, and Tinkerbell recognized that instantly and knew exactly what to do to make her feel comfortable and special. Lastly from a planning perspective, I talked to the owner Jacklyn before putting in the deposit who went through everything, and then Tinkerbell/Kayla called me a few days before to finalize all the details. Will absolutely recommend / use them again! read more

6/5, quite frankly. We had Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper for my son's Star Wars-themed birthday party and they were both phenomenal! They answered all the kids' questions about...well, everything, ha...especially the world of Star Wars. We had blow-up lifesavers for the kiddos as party favors (not included, to be clear, we just provided them) and they both engaged so impressively with the kids. Everyone had an absolute blast! Jacklyn is wonderful to work with as well. Cannot recommend enough!! read more

Very responsive, excellent performer and all around great experience! would highly recommend

Great service and communication! I received many compliments from parents and kids attending the party who want to use PP of DC too.

We've been customers of the Princess Parties of DC for well over 5 years now. My boys have loved every superhero experience, but now we have a daughter who is in her princess era. We attended the grand princess event last weekend and as always we were delighted with the level of customer service provided by each team member to assure the event not only went smoothly, but that all the princesses had made memories. We can't wait to see how much more fun is in store as we soak up these core memories. read more

Princess Parties of DC created a magical environment for my daughter's fourth birthday! The two princesses entertained over 30 children for an hour and everyone was mesmerized! They are so talented- singing was just like the movie- and so sweet with the kids. Every parent told me how amazed they were. They (and everyone I worked with at the company) were also prompt, easy to contact, and made the process seamless. Highly recommend!!! read more

We had Elsa and Anna come to our daughter's 5th birthday party and what an incredible experience from start to finish. Jacklyn is wonderful and answered all my questions, had really good suggestions, and we were able to secure both princesses for the party. We had 27 kids and having both princesses there was really terrific and entertaining! They came on time, sang beautifully, played with all the kids, did a craft, crowned the birthday girl, did freeze dance, sang Happy Birthday, took pictures and made the party truly... a party. We were sad when the hour was over, but knew the kids had a great experience. I would recommend Princess Parties of DC and look forward to another party next year! read more

Thank you to Jaclyn and the team at Princess Parties of DC for going above and beyond the call of duty for my daughter's first birthday. With COVID ... and two kid life ... I had completely dropped the ball on planning my daughter's first birthday so when I contacted Princess Parties of DC with a last minute request, I was surprised when they reached back out with availability! Jaclyn was so easy and flexible to work with and the fact that she is available to discuss details over text made my millennial heart soar. Our Princess, Rapunzel (Cadence) was amazing. When she noticed that my five year old was hanging by my arm while setting up the party, she took her by the hand, gave her lots of special 1:1 attention before all the guests arrived. What a life saver! For a full two hours she kept the pace of the party going with a coronation for the birthday girl (and her sister), glitter tattoos, picture ops, craft projects, a performance, princess dance lesson, and games. Our very large group of children, age 18 months to eight years old was absolutely enthralled the entire time ... both boys and girls! Rapunzel even addressed the children by their names throughout the day which I thought was a special added touch. Rapunzel was absolutely beautiful as well -- her costume was professional level and her wig was Disney World worthy. She never dropped character and was a nurturing, sweet, patient, and funny as we expected her to be. Since we had such a large group of children we also decided to get a face painter so Rapunzel could focus on the other guided activities. Our face painter America was fun to work with and an absolute artist. Seriously, thank you so much to the entire team at Princess Parties of DC for making this event as stress free and enjoyable as possible. I'm sure we will be working together again soon! read more

Princess Parties of DC was an absolute godsend for my 5-year-old daughter's birthday party. She really wanted Paw Patrol characters at her party, and I was searching everywhere to find the right ones from a company that was more than just a broker. Princess Parties was the most responsive and even suggested that we include Ryder as the party host in order to engage with the kids better than the "pups" can in their big costumes. I hadn't thought of that, and it made all the difference. Ryder was fantastic, with a big bag of activities and even crafts to keep the kids engaged for the full hour. The kids, of course, loved having Chase and Skye there, but Ryder made it a party. We were all thrilled with the event and wholeheartedly recommend Princess Parties of DC to anyone thinking about renting characters for their event. read more

We just finished up our 3rd back-to-back princess party with PPDC, and I will keep booking them so long as my little girl still has the magic and wonder in her eyes! They are worth every penny: they completely take the reins of the party in the best way and keep those kiddos spellbound from start to finish. Our most recent party this evening with Rapunzel (AKA Kayla) maintained the highest bar we've come to expect from PPDC. Authentic high-quality costuming, agile and flexible and quick-on-their-feet, rolling with every punch and never breaking character. When they say you're getting professional actresses and singers, they mean it. And the bag of tricks they bring ! Our princess even saved our skins by supplying a lighter for the birthday candles It's actually getting hard for me to justify the expense and overstimulation of a trip to Disney when we've had so many princesses for a private audience! read more

Horrible. Booked an Elsa Princess over a month in advance and gave a deposit, texted back and forth with the business owner. On the day of the party, no one showed up and my daughter was heartbroken. Tinkerbell and Snow White from Princess Parties of DC made our daughters' joint birthday party a blast for everyone in attendance, we were so impressed by both of the performers! They engaged so well with all the children, even with our group spanning ages 3 to 6, helping everyone enjoy the activities, and were on point for the entire time. They were both amazing singers, and looked 100% the part. They made both of our girls feel so special for their big day and were so much fun for all I wouldn't hesitate to hire Princess Parties again! read more

An absolute wonderful service. Had no trouble engaging, hiring and communicating with the team. We hired Elsa and Olaf for our LO's birthday. They were a big hit with the kids. They were hooked right from the moment of entry. Beautiful singing, activities and dancing. The photo ops were innumerable and we had hired the photographer from the same service as well. The coronation was right out of a dream for my girl. Elsa was mindful to call her Queen and made sure she felt like one all through! Kudos to all the efforts. The whole hour flew bye so seamlessly and joyfully. I highly recommend this service. read more

This was such a good choice! My daughter turned 4 and we went in with fairly moderate expectations. Nothing too much. We had Cadence as Elsa. She was absolutely phenomenal. What a kind and abundantly loving woman. She was so good with the kids. I mean the patience and the direction she had with the kids. It felt like a party for adults and the princess took over and did a great job doing so. I would definitely recommend. Jacklyn was so easy to book with. We got sick our first party date and she allowed us to reschedule. Just a great company overall. Totally undervalued and I don't mean just monetarily. We will be using them again for sure! read more

We had a mermaid come for my niece's 5th birthday! The mermaid was so amazing, nice, and magical the entire time. She looked gorgeous and was so excited to be there! She came in with such a magical entrance and stayed in character until she left! The mermaid ran games, arts & crafts, and did tattoos and paintings! She was amazing! We booked Mirabel and Isabela for my daughter's 5th birthday and they were fantastic. The communication before and during the party was excellent. They did a great job connecting with and entertaining the kids. The parents could sit back and relax once they took over. They did songs, crafts, games, face painting and glitter tattoos. They had little touches that made the experience magical (I.e. it looked like Isabela was creating and throwing flower petals) and their singing/dancing was impressive. Overall, they exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend this company. read more
