Lots of intentional planning went into this design. There's an indoor bar, dining room, outside seating of all kind (under tent & not), as well as a bar that has garage doors that can open to the outside. There's corn hole and other things to do. This place is a vibe with a German touch! Plenty of beers on tap, as well as some clever cocktails! They even have beer cocktails that feature their drafts. Service was exceptional! We sat at the indoor bar as it was raining. Stephanie was terrific. Very attentive and friendly. Ordered two drinks...Drunk in Love (delicious), and Beerloma (delicious). Highly recommend both of these. They had lots of other seasonal options as well that sounded delightful. Nice to see a pub theme place also craft some great drinks for the non beer drinkers. We ordered the burger on a pretzel bun and the German Street Diner. Both absolutely delicious!!! Impressive that we have both food and drink on point! No notes. The fries are great too. Don't leave without the cinnamon and sugar pretzel bites with the Carmel and white icing dipping sauce! We got out to go. Don't leave without them. Awesome!!! Such a terrific find. Wish we lived closer. Well worth the stop! Not far off of Rt 1 on way to beach too! Don't skip this place! It's amazing.

Dover needed a venue like this, and Rail Haus has done an amazing job creating a space that's both fun and inviting.

This was one of the most disappointing Yelp "finds" I've experienced. The restaurant has loads of…read morepotential charm, but it's fallen into pretty rough shape. Random stuff is on empty tables all over the place, there are enough flies indoors that they needed a fly repellent fan, and the staff, including the manager, have no idea what specials are advertised on their website. For instance, Wednesday is supposed to be 1/2 price bottles of wine. This is advertised with today's date on their website. The waiter said they haven't had this special for months, and then when he asked the manager about it informed us that the special only actually applied to glasses of their cheapest wine. Not a good start. The restaurant was out of crab dip, the supposed "smash" burger was two grilled, gray, tough patties that didn't meet any remote definition of a smash burger. The truffle fries were ok as was the crab cake. The waiter, despite being unaware of the specials, was friendly and otherwise was efficient. This restaurant just has absolutely no business having 4 stars and anyone expecting "fine dining" as some other yelpers inexplicably wrote, will be sorely disappointed. As were we.

We've found two great pizza places here recently and this is one of them! Honestly, really hard to come by good pizza in Delaware. The other menu items were serious bonuses for me since apps are lacking in this state too. Service was great, attentive enough but not over the top. Also, yes, they do offer a military discount. Good music on, quiet for a weekday afternoon which I like.. I'll be back!
