Loved the pandan latte! Even my husband who is usually a black coffee only type of guy liked it. Staff is friendly. A few spots to sit inside.

I was in the mood for something different than your standard fare coffee shop breakfast and Americano, so when I saw Concept Coffee has both Avocado Foccacia and Buko Pandan Latte, I made my way there. Both are pretty darn good, though just short of exceptional. The Buko Pandan consists of espresso, Pandan syrup, coconut milk, and coconut flakes, and while it is pretty delicious thanks for the coconut milk and flakes, I really don't taste the Pandan, which is too bad because it is one of my favorite flavors. The Avocado Foccacia did a little better and it was bursting with flavors. Their stock of avocado was a bit unripe today so the guy went to the nearby market to buy a fresh one, which is appreciated. You can taste that nutty fresh avocado flavor that complements well with the Foccacia bread. The herbs of the Foccacia made every bite a yummy one, although I didn't get enough of the red peppers coming through. The only negative comment is the bread is overly hard. I like my Foccacia a bit fluffier while balancing the crispness. I also like the overall interior decor that puts a bit of the island flavor. There is no bathroom, however.

Ordered: The Serhant Iced (~$7): Japanese matcha with ube syrup, and oat milk Iced Buko Pandan Latte (~$7): double espresso, housemade pandan syrup, vanilla with coconut milk, and coconut flakes Aya's take: Concept Coffee is a super cute, bright, Filipino-inspired cafe in LIC! They have a variety of specialty drinks you wouldn't see at a typical coffee shop so we decided to try two! The Serhant Iced was entirely up my alley for a few reasons: 1) I love the combination of matcha & ube and 2) I've been a big fan of Ryan Serhant since the MDL days! #iykyk This drink was super smooth, creamy, and lightly sweet. It was great to enjoy on a warm day and gave me the slight boost I needed. The Iced Buko Pandan Latte was also a good try but a bit too nutty for my liking. The pandan definitely brings out a nutty, vanilla-like flavor that did go well with the coconut milk & flakes but it was just overpowering. The staff is super friendly. Definitely recommend checking them out!

One of my favorite coffee shops in the neighborhood! They are quiet, have some seating, and have unique drinks! Service is a little slow so this place is to just take it chill. The new pandan espresso drink was a little too sweet for my liking, but I appreciated that the pandan flavor was strong!

Got the pandan concept drink and it was very affordable compared to other drinks in NYC and tasted fantastic. The service was great with lots of seating and great music playing in the background. Lots of seating and wifi and the wifi is very strong! Perfect place to work. And the decor is so pretty

A solid coffee shop in the LIC area with some fun asian-inspired drinks! I got the Buko Pandan Latte and Kape Ube Latte and both were delicious! They're definitely on the sweeter side, but you can tell the coffee is pretty strong and it's not super milk forward which is a plus. The staff are super friendly here and their seasonal drinks are always worth a try! The seating area and cafe itself is pretty small so I wouldn't necessarily come here to do work or hangout in groups, but it's definitely worth grabbing a cup to go.

Amazingly delicious coconut coffee. Located right next to a climbing gym. The coffee was super tasty and the staff very helpful.

The background shows a black cabinet, a sink, and a coffee station with utensils and cups. The drink appears to be a specialty coffee or tea served in a cafe setting.

Finally a coffee that isn't too sweet and I can actually sip. I wish I lived closer. Nice, cozy vibe inside. The barista takes his time making every drink but the sevice isn't slow. I need to come back to try their other beverages.

Cute spot that's a quick walk from the Court Square E/M. The ube/matcha Serhant drink is the best combo of those flavors I've ever had in a beverage, very smooth, though idk if I'm pronouncing it wrong when I order. The inside of the cafe is small but the space is well utilized.

Buko Pandan Latte that doesn't taste primarily like coconut milk? I'm all ears. Since I trekked all the way to LIC, my friends and I were going to make it worth it. Initially we were going to try the new bubble tea on the same block but a friend of ours insisted on chai. When we first went in, the vibes were of a modern coffee shop but without the windows in the back, the back indoor seating area is a little dark. Despite the lack of natural light, the vibe was nice and the baristas are personable and bubbly. I ordered the Buko Pandan Latte which was one of the better Pandan Lattes I had. While it's sweeter than my usual, I loved that the espresso didn't overpower the pandan and you could taste the floral notes of the pandan. My friend got the Rose Chai which I found to be too sweet, and my partner got an iced tea which was good but also a little sweet. For a place in the middle of LIC, the coffee is pretty good and they have many Asian inspired drink flavors, albeit sweet. I definitely want to try the ube drinks if I get a chance to go back and probably pair the drink with a savory pastry.

Fantastic coffee shop in LIC. Perfect location between Court square station and the waterfront park. Concept coffee shop has been in the neighborhood just over a year, so they are fairly new. The interior has a nice vibe and pretty tropical wallpaper decor. The shop offers plenty of seating inside and out, and seems like a great place to get some work done. Americano was $4 and great, the Chai latte was fanatic, lots of flavor, definitely recommend it. I'll try the food when I come back. The friendly service is always a plus!

Cute and small coffee spot in LIC. A long room, adorably decorated, with few tables along the right side of the counter. It was quiet so I parked myself down to stay a bit. Chai latte wasn't bad. The chai was from a decent concentrate so I'll allow it. I was so hungry and to my luck they still had the avocado focaccia toast available. This is the thing to order if you're starved. It was ginormous and worth the 10 bucks. I asked for mine without red pepper flakes because I wasn't feeling the heat but I'm pretty sure it would be dang good if it was on there as well.

I've tried the iced chagaccino (monk fruit sweetened mushroom latte) and the kape ube (ube latte) and both were killer.

They have a table to pickup preorders so you don't have to wait in the main line. I ordered a dozen for $39. You can select your assortment. Here's my review in order from the best to the least desirable, according to our group. Vanilla custard- the filling was thick and speckled with vanilla beans. It wasn't too sweet. This was the best according to our group. Strawberry filled- this is most traditional and Breads Bakery does a nice job. The jam is homemade. Pistachio- this doughnut was filled with smooth pistachio cream and was topped with a few pieces of pistachio. Not traditional, but they did a good job. Chocolate- the filling tasted like a semisweet or bittersweet cream/custard. Like the others, it was smooth. The vanilla was more popular among our group and I personally didn't love this doughnut. Mango- this was the one that those in my group felt missed the mark. It wasn't cloyingly sweet, so that was good, but the filling didn't do anything for us either. If you're looking for a mango dessert the one at Lysée is a real winner.

When I moved to the UES, I was worried finding a new local roaster. I've had bad experiences where the beans are too oily or something is off that messes with my usually grind size/extraction time. No issues with Oslo's beans. 2. They actually know how to make a proper americano. Every coffee shop takes a standard cup, puts in the espresso shot, and then fills hot water to the brim of the cup. This destroys the flavor of the espresso. You end up with hot water that tastes slightly like coffee. Oslo chooses quality over quantity. They don't fill the water up to the brim, so you have a cup with 2/3 of liquid; however, this is a proper americano. You can taste the difference. At other shops, I just get drip coffee because they don't know what they're doing. Oslo knows what they're doing. That's why I come here.

We were a little late for our reservation, and they gave our table away, which was quite annoying. However, the service, hospitality, and food more than made up for it. Someone came over to apologize for the mix up and offered us complimentary white wine while we waited for another table to open up. The wine was delicious! When we were finally seated, we started with some drinks. I got the Speranza, and it was light, fresh, and delicious! We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary bread basket brought to the table, as it's a rarity in nyc these days. We split a burrata amongst the table. Loved the addition of figs. I ordered the rigatoni all'aragosta for my dish, which was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. There was a decent portion of lobster in the dish, and I couldn't even finish all of it, I was so full. One of the best pasta dishes I've had in a while. My friends ordered the bolognese and the fettuccine alla nerano, and they enjoyed their dishes as well! We skipped dessert this time, but I would definitely be back for it. I also want to try the paccheri next time, as well as their coffee shop in the mornings!
