We celebrate the bride to be with a traditional bachelorette party at concannon this weekend. It was a blastttt. The wine was amazing and I really enjoyed the prepackaged snacks they offer. A very special shoutout to Michelle who made our experience unforgettable. She was so approachable and funny. You can tell she really likes her job! The estate is beautiful and we enjoyed sitting outside despite the gloomy weather, I highly recommend taking a walk around the winery and exploring their garden.

From sparkling whites to Zinfandel the wine was pleasing to my palette, spicy, not too tannic, fruity aroma, the Mothervine Cab was spicy and not tannic and the lastly the Captain Joe's Petite Sirah, fruity aroma, and tannic. I ended with the crimson and clover that was light, spicy, and flavorful. Arlo my server was the best.

When we arrived at Concannon winery, we realized we were the only people tasting on a rainy Tuesday afternoon. What a treat that turned out to be! We had absolutely attentive service from a great wine tasting Steward/ host. He was not only knowledgeable about the wine, but also about the winery, the history of the area, and many other parts of the wine industry. We really appreciated everything he added to our experience. The wines at concannon are all solid, and a few are are exquisite. We enjoyed our visit and would return! Thank you for a lovely afternoon!

Prices were reasonable, but it adds up if you order accompaniments. Wines were delicious and our server, an older gentleman, was very knowledgeable about the grapes, vintage, and history of the winery. He answered all of our questions thoroughly. The patio seating was very relaxing with a great view of the vineyards. There's also a lovely fountain that we took photos in front of. We chose this specific winery because we were allowed to bring dog and our 6 month old (children are allowed on specific days only). Also because it was very accessible, no stairs and fully paved paths. All in all we had a very nice anniversary outting.

Came here for a Yelp event and honestly wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did. First off, it's tucked away in Livermore which makes it way more convenient than driving all the way out to Napa--and honestly, the wine here is better than a few places I've been to in Napa. Service was great. The man helping us was super friendly and gave such fun history facts about the winery. He answered all our questions and made the whole experience feel casual and not intimidating, which I appreciated since we're still kind of new to wine tasting. The ambiance was beautiful--super peaceful, with a really pretty outdoor terrace and plenty of space to sit, sip, and just chill. We ended up grabbing a few snacks and leaving with two bottles of wine, so clearly we were into it. Already thinking about coming back on a weekend for a more laid-back visit outside of the Yelp event. Definitely a spot I'd return to, especially as someone just getting into the wine scene.

Visited Concannon for a tasting as part of the Livermore Wine Pass. We were literally the only customers there. The staff was friendly and mostly left us alone to get other work done. We did not enjoy the Gruner Veltliner but loved the 2023 Reserve Crimson & Clover. We took home a case.

My first winery visit in Concannon Vineyard, Livermore was absolutely amazing! My girls and I wanted to spend a Saturday afternoon wine tasting and was able to get paired with Barry as our wine man! He was really informative and had shared the best jokes! The wine itself here was super yummy and had many great options! I loved that they had small bites we could purchase, and we ended up getting crackers and a spinach artichoke dip which paired really well with the wines we tried! The property was very well kept, so beautiful, and very welcoming. I definitely would recommend!

Not rating the wine, that's too subjective. The experience here is top-notch in the Livermore Valley. The entryway is beautiful, and parking is plentiful. The check-in process was a little clunky, especially with many people checking in right at opening time. But when appointments are required, the business should know how many to expect and be prepared. Once we were seated, our server greeted us quickly, and our flight order was quickly taken. The server was attentive to our empty glasses and returned quickly with our next pour. The server was as chatty as expected and respectful/not pushy about joining the wine club when we stated we did not intend to join another wine club. The tasting patio is comfortable and shaded. The landscaping of the area was attractive.

I have the 2024 Livermore Wine Passport and a friend and I decided to go on a Saturday afternoon. We got there around 3:15pm and the parking lot was almost full but we were able to find a spot. They have several parking lots but they also tend to be quite popular. We had to wait about 10 mins to be checked in and since there was no outside seating (the weather was perfect), we were seated in smaller room in a barn like building. Beautiful structure. There were about 5 other tables filled and by the time we left at 5pm, the room was full. Our server, Jim was great. He not only talked about each wine that he poured but when he learnt that I don't care for whites, he got me a taste of Rose that was not on the tasting menu. The tasting comes with 6 pours with an extra. That was too much wine for me and I did not try the last surprise pour but my friend loved it and even bought a bottle. It was busy so Jim took some time getting us waters. In the meantime, we walked up to the counter to ask the other server, a woman for water and also if they had any corks they could spare. Even though she was not busy, she asked us to ask Jim for water and for the corks. She is the reason for 1 star missing. They had cheese, crackers and other food for sale even though we did not buy anything. The location and vineyard are beautiful, the wines were fantastic, especially the Sav Blanc and Chardonnay and our server Jim was a joy. He not only gave me a wine bag full of corks but asked me to come back with a big box because they had a barrel full of corks and I think I will! Great experience!

The ambiance of this vineyard is amazing and beautiful. The server for our wine tasting was very knowledgeable and sweet. There was no real choices of food except for a refrigerator where you could buy random cheese, crackers, fruit.

Waitstaff and venue were great, but what made the event special was the very high quality of the food: gourmet shrimp appetizer, flatbread, salad, chicken kabob, filet mignon kabob (no exaggeration), and Oasis salmon, plus rice, asparagus, mashed potatoes, chocolate mousse cake for dessert, coffee, tea, sodas. If you've been here, you know the elevator opens into a very small entry space before you even fully enter the bar. Before I had even stepped off the elevator, the security guard was aggressively grabbing my friend's husband to check his ID. For context, we are all in our mid to late 40s and clearly not under 21. My friend's husband had just noticed a friend at the bar and walked over to say hello and give them a quick hug. That's when the security guard grabbed and pulled him in a very aggressive manner. When my husband calmly stepped in and said that the grabbing was unnecessary, the guard escalated the situation further. He became confrontational and even told my husband he could come back at 1:30 when he got off work if he wanted to "handle it." This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. As a Livermore resident, I will not support an establishment that allows their employees, especially security staff,to treat customers this way. Staff should be ensuring safety, not provoking confrontations with patrons.

The place was super lively and honestly pretty packed during my visit on a week night. The lounge itself is on the smaller side, but cozy. I like the concept, there are wire racks on the wall and each table has a little wooden game board on top (mine was Chinese checkers), such a cute touch and makes the place feel a bit more interactive. Their signature cocktail menu has a lot of options, but since it was our first time, we asked the bartender for a recommendation. He suggested "Meet Me In Pearis" since we wanted something vodka-based. The drink took about 10-15 minutes to come out, which felt a bit long, but it looked like he was the only one working, serving two big parties plus a few tables, so I get it. Service overall was still good and he was nice the whole time. For the drink... honestly, it didn't really wow me. Both the flavor and presentation were pretty underwhelming. It kind of tasted like a glass of sangria to me. I guess with "Artisanal" in the name, I was expecting something a little more unique or elevated. Overall, great location, nice vibes, and I like the interior concept. Service was solid too. Just wish the drink matched the same level. So that to me means it's top of the line membership as indicated by their pricing and what we get. So I feel I should get top notch deals, pricing and service. Turns out, we get the same shaft as the lower club members. Starting with the good, the location is pristine. Nice area with lots of room for kids and adults to mingle and play. The wine is also pretty darn good. Of course there are some better than others but I enjoy most of their wine. The service is also for the most part very good. The waitstaff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Their food is also pretty darn good. It's not incredible, and a bit overpriced but it's fine enough. Their wine pricing is also fair (but of course with the highest membership we get the biggest discount). My biggest complaints would be the price gouging and lack of communication. We made arrangements on a Friday to show Sunday with 6 and asked for the "VIP space upgrade to lounge or upstairs Vista Patio Lounge (when available)". They said no problem. When we showed on Sunday they said it was closed with no notice. Just a sorry. OK whatever. We sit inside (6 people and 2 children) and they charge for 2 children a "non drinker" charge of $10 ($5 each). A head count charge for non-drinkers? For children? Total nonsense! I am spending over $1,200 a year here and you want to gouge me for someone's kids? Their tastings are $40 a pop which is really crazy. Our price is waived on this so that's fine but if you are not a member you are paying a lot for a little. The wines do take a bit of time to come and they don't give you a lot. Kind of a bummer waiting for the taste. We ended up with 4 appetizers (sliders $24, Charcuterie $25, Tater Tots $12 and Pretzel Bites with Grilled Sausage $16) 2 bottles of wine and $4.25 for water and the bill was over $250. Oh and top that off, with 6 people, they charge a mandatory 20% on the bill for a tip and are basing that with taxes (as the button default), not the actual sub-total so they are actually getting about 23%. All in all, I am not sure that the cost is worth what you get. I mean we are giving them a lot of money just to be members and then having to pay more and more for anything else that really should be included (like water and kids) makes this place just a bit too over-rated for me. Probably end my club membership in the fall and go someplace that doesn't place money first.
