I just love their breads. Great place to have amazing bread with butter and jam with your coffee or any of their delicious pastries.

My daughter visited Con Pane when she had friends in town from North Carolina. She loved it so much that she took her sister another time and then me last week. I got the turkey Cobb sandwich on the rosemary bread. It was delicious. I might add picked red onion to have more contrast with the blue cheese/gorgonzola. My daughter is a pescatarian and I'm glad they have a vegetarian sandwich offer. She said it was amazing. The peanut butter toffee cookie was so good but I wasn't a huge fan of the cowgirl cookie. It was too dense and dry like the Ausi bites at Costco. Parking is nearby in several lots but you might find street parking.

Bomb bakery with a huge selection of bread! Love their sourdough and definitely recommend getting that if you don't get anything else. They also have sandwiches and coffee. There are two separate lines for ordering food and just picking up baked goodies; make sure you're in the right one so you don't end up wasting time. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're at Liberty Station!

Fresh baked bread, delicious desserts & coffees. I love this bakery restaurant. The food is always good but the location is always cheerful with friends, families, kids and dog friendly. They have a nice patio area to eat, catch some sun and enjoy the best San Diego weather. All the people who work here are friendly and helpful. You have to try this place in the Heart of Liberty station

Cinnamon Roll with Raisins suuuper legit. Brioche dough is soft, moist, and elevates height of cinnamon roll. Raisin are just Raisins. They add just enough cinnamon spread. Cream cheese glaze is good enough to drink. Worth it! Chocolate Hazelnut Twist is good, but I should have read it is also a brioche dough. When you get that combo of chocolate, Hazelnut, and powdered sugar, it's the truth. Black coffee is hot and delicious. Highly recommend to go along with breads.

So much bread you don't know what to do. cinnamon roll heaven I'm telling you right now. Note to self swing by here. Pick up some cinnamon rolls. You will never regret it. They have a couple different kinds.. Right there in liberty Station challenge you buy a cinnamon roll. Try to walk all the way up to the riverfront and walk back. Cinnamon roll will be gone. . That's real talk..

Worst sandwich that I've ever had. I'm sorry to say that I would rather had subway. Dry sandwich, hard a$$ bread, flavorless. You can do better!

Savannah helped me and my family with our order. She was sooooo nice and felt like she was genuinely building a connection with us. And she has a GREAT smile, I def need her dentists #. Got the last pistachio croissant and it's almost too pretty to eat along with a cappuccino :)

This spot was highly recommended by a friend and I can see why! Welcoming spot in Liberty Station that has plenty of seating. The bread is fresh and delicious. I got a Turkey Cobb sandwich on rosemary bread. The soups looked amazing but it was kind of hot (fun problem to have in winter!). They also had pastries and coffees so I may stop by again later this week.

The pairing of a hot Americano with a cinnamon roll is a go-to for me. It is a way for me to determine if this is a place I would visit again. I walked into Con Pane with the plan of ordering an Americano and doing some work. When I saw the cinnamon roll I had to go for it. Busy vibe, obviously a popular place as the line was long but it went quickly. When I ordered my cinnamon roll I was asked if I wanted the one with raisins. Not sure how I feel about that. It almost feels blasphemous but I will reserve my judgment until I return and try this potential abomination. You never know, I may be converted. Outside seating was pleasant as it was a beautiful sunny day. The Americano was fine. I would give it a 6.5 out of 10. I'm not against bitter coffee but there is a limit. The cinnamon roll did not disappoint. Warm with a good balance of firmness and gooeyness. I do like the middle of the cinnamon roll to be extra gooey, just on the edge of raw. This one was consistent all the way through. The icing was just sweet enough. It did not make me seek out insulin. 8.5 out of 10. Will I come back? Definitely. I have to give that butterscotch latte a try next time.

We were in the area for an event and came here for a quick coffee and snack. This spot got pretty busy on a Saturday but still had plenty of seating. I tried the Rose Latte which was so good. It was balanced well with the amount of sweetness. I also ordered a mini cinnamon roll which was just ok. I think the bigger one Rodger for the table, and heated up would have been better. I didn't try any breads or sandwiches, but they all looked so good, so I will be back!

My dad, sister, and I grabbed an afternoon meal and on our way to the parking lot we spotted this gem. Immediately, I was drawn by the clear invitation the bakery and cafe makes in its open doors and great outdoor and indoor seating area. By the time we entered, it was clear that the breads are a hit. They go out so quickly! Please note that there's a separate line you can stand in if you are just grabbing baked goods. For our first visit here we grabbed the following: *Cinnamon bun (plain) - an absolute must! There's an option for a raisin-based one too *Croissant - it was a delightful surprise to discover the croissants were visibly salted and to a degree that was surprisingly delicious *Plain loaf - one of the largest ones and few remaining loaves of bread that remained. They can slice it for you to take home *two drip coffees and house lemonade The staff brought us our order in person with utensils packed in the bag which we were grateful for. Thank you all so much! I hope we can come again to check out the sandwiches and soups and more bread! Inside and out - this place made my heart sing for joy because it embodies the definition of a bakery and cafe so well!

We also split a croque monsieur which was warm, cheesy, and perfect to balance out all the pastries. I wish they had real cutlery (vs only plastic disposables) for dine in customers. For example, some other specialty bakeries/shops are charging similar prices for cakes and cheesecakes that are much simpler. In comparison, Extraordinary Dessert cakes take 3-4 days to make, have 6-8 alternating layers, and are typically adorned with edible gold and/or flowers. The key is to find which items you like and which are okay to pass on next time. What we ried this time: -Match Misu Cake (7/10): ricotta cake layers soaked in matcha and layered with marscapone whipped cream. This one was pretty good and ranks in my middle to high range. I only wish there was more matcha flavor (maybe if you dine in and get the sauce, this would help) or the matcha was paired with another flavor ... either go fruity (maybe a raspberry sauce, strawberry pieces, white peach pieces, or like a peach oolong cream layer) or go chocolately/coffee (maybe had some crushed up chocolate covered espresso beans). My go to's: -Ivoire Royale (10/10) - my ultimate favorite still. If you like light desserts, white chocolate, berries, and moist vanilla cake, thus one is for you. Classy and unpretentious -Shangrila (10/10) - my other favorite and will make you feel like a princess with all the pink chocolate curls. A little bit adventurous and innocently elegant. Ones to skip: -Au Chocolate / La Bete Noire / Dame Chocolate - get the Viking instead. That's my favorite of all their chocolate cakes -Lemon ricotta - get the Passionfruit Ricotta instead -Torta misu - the matcha misu is better. The tortilla misuse made me want a regular piece of tirmaisu than a cake version -Coconut cream - not bad, not amazing though

Hard to find many other places. They also have tea and coffee, and my husband and I LOVE their hojicha latte, which boasts a nice earthy-to-sweet ratio. If you want a grounded flavor without getting another coffee, try the hojicha latte! The store itself is quite small, selling sweet treats, drinks, and even flowers through a collaboration with a florist. Yiko Yiko has some of the best desserts in SD, especially when it comes to their mochi!…read more We've tried quite a few of their mochi snowball options, and they're always so chewy, soft, and flavorful. The fruit flavors are also made with fresh fruit, which is a plus. We stop by sometimes to pick up a box of 4-6 as gifts for our friends, and it's always a hit. Their crepe cakes are also really tasty and not too sweet. We really like the basque, vanilla, and strawberry flavors. The desserts here are a bit on the pricier side, but the quality and presentation are worth the splurge.

Many reviews have noted this, and I would have to agree, especially for the size (crepe cake slices) and/or simple design (two layer naked cakes). We ended up trying a slice of their taro crepe cake. It was tasty - light, smooth, and included real taro - and had alternating layers of cream and taro; however, we were surprised with how small it was in person (vs photos) for $12.50 before tax. This is just below the price for an Extraordinary Desserts cake slice, which is not only bigger and more complex, but also made fresh. We noticed the crepe cake slice we got had that dusting of ice sparkles, indicating it was frozen and defrosting, and additionally, as it defrosted, the more it started leaning. If you haven't tried Yiko Yiko, it's worth still checking out. That said, I think you'll be satisifed after one or two visits.

We got a variety but the Banoffee Maritozzi was an interesting combination of a sliced banana and corn flakes. But the Orange Blossom Ube Financier was our favorite. Would definitely come back and get that again. The store is pretty small, so you get the baked goods togo, but if you can't wait to get them home they do have tables outside so you can enjoy them.

i have been wanting to come to Michi Michi for so long but whenever I'd drive by I was intimidated…read morewith the long lines, so when my girlfriends wanted to do a catch up with pastries and matcha, I said yes. Lines are always better with a friend and even though we all arrived before opening there was still a healthy line. I was really excited, to finally get to check them out, I saw on their socials that a new chef had taken residency and that they came with some Filipino flair. As a fellow Filipino I definitely wanted to support. I ended up ordering a lumpia roll, ube butter ensaymada, a halo halo tart and a egg sando sandwich along with an iced matcha with honey, with tip my total was $48, which isn't horrible considering these are meant to be higher quality pastries. My girlfriends and I found a table and decided we would share, I shared my egg sando sandwich and the lumpia roll, while they shared their ube butter ensaymada and the turon kouign amann. My matcha, was a horrible, it was a muddy green and really lacked any matcha flavor, my friend didn't like her matcha either and she had the miso caramel matcha. I didn't even finish my matcha and I can really take one down. We joked about how we should have opted for the orange juice instead. Now for the pastries, I was really underwhelmed by them, the ensaymada was just fine, I honestly cannot remember the taste of it, it lacked something. The egg sando sandwich, the filling was plentiful and flavorful BUT the bread was dry, was that potato bread? The texture was off for me and I ended up just scooping out the filling and eating it like that. Where the sando had a good amount of filling the lumpia roll lacked it, it was so sparse I figured it would be more like a sausage roll so I was taken aback by how little there was in it. Flavors were fine, the pastry was buttery but I just wanted a little more. The one pastry we agreed was better than the rest was the turon kouign amann, the crunchy bits of sugar was so reminiscent of turon but the filling, for me was like uncooked banana bread batter, that threw me off entirely. It was better, but not the filling. So overall, I would say it was okay, I guess for the costs it just didn't meet my expectations.

This review is for the rolled banana croissant . Every time I visit I always order the rolled banana croissant and it never disappoints!!! The round croissant is cut in half, piped with delicious cream that is perfectly sweet that goes so well with the caramel sauce and bananas, perfect combo! If the bakery reads this review, it would be even better if there were a few more banana slices inside or caramelized banana on top, IMO. One more thing, it would be awesome if you opened on weekends. Today I ordered the banana and creme brulee rolled croissant and the banana was better. I was the only customer so ordering was simple. There are 3 tables in the store and a few outside the store. I'll be back when I have another sweet craving.
