    Chicken and Waffles

This place is such a cute, honeybee-themed restaurant with a fun and welcoming vibe. The staff was really friendly and helpful, especially when it came to ordering since the QR code menu had a few description errors. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad--it was tasty overall, though the chicken was sliced very thin. The chicken and waffles were delicious and definitely on the sweeter side; it seemed like the butter was mixed with sugar, which made it even sweeter. The veggie sausages weren't my favorite. Overall, it's a great spot for breakfast or lunch, especially if you're looking for a charming atmosphere.

As always when we come to San Diego it never fails to amaze me with delicious food and this little gem did not disappoint-the breakfast sandwich was amazing with fresh cut turkey breast and avocado-delicious bacon and eggs cooked perfect-planning to visit San Diego this is a must stop for breakfast or lunch-

Right when you enter this bee-themed restaurant, you know you are in for a treat. The walls, ceiling, tables, light fixtures, and even the tiles in the bathroom are bee themed or honeycomb shaped. It really sets the mood. We were advised to seat ourselves and once we had a menu, we were to go to the counter to order and pay or order through their app. I do and don't like this approach. For brunch, it was totally fine. I ordered the Salted Honey Butter Latte, Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes, and the Honey Bacon. The latte is served with some crunchy bits on the top of the foam. I'm not a fan of chunks in my coffee so I didn't love that addition but I got past it and enjoyed the honey flavor of the latte. The pancakes were beautifully presented, with the swirl of cinnamon facing up. They were crispy on the exterior and soft on the inside. Exactly how I like my pancakes. You could taste the cinnamon without it being overbearing. The bacon was absolutely delicious - chef's kiss! We really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere in the restaurant - we'll be back to try other options!

Best iced coffee I've had in a long time! It was so delicious. Must try the Salted Honey butter. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was just as good as the coffee. The inside of the cafe has a really cute bee theme! It's so pretty. Loved everything.

We were in town for a short time and hungry! So glad we took a chance at this place, as it was so enchanting! The ambiance was whimsical and good-feeling with so many details and I could tell well-taken care of clean with no dust. To top it off the food was amazing!! It was so yummy, and my husband said it was the best banana bread! My chicken and waffles were delicious, it's definitely on our list when we are in the area again! I could tell the owners take pride and care into their loving darlin' honeybees place!

Decor was sooo cute Seating wasn't a problem Food was great Service was good constantly checking if we needed anything. Avocado toast and banana matcha were my fave

Kind of a weird setup. You sit down, they tell you, you can order from the QR Code or come up to the counter to order. We ordered at the counter. What we ordered: 2 lattes - I can't remember which ones, but they were just ok Cinnamon Swirl pancakes - bf said they were good. He liked it Chicken & Waffles - I didn't like it. Chicken was a little dry. Waffles didn't seem freshly made. More like premade and put on the grill to warm up. We did have a couple of people ask us multiple times if we were doing ok. The honeycomb ceiling was cool.

Was in the area and I heard good things about this place and decided to give it a try. I ordered the cinnamon swirl pancakes with eggs and sausage and my guests both ordered chicken and waffles. Drinks were the horchata matcha, hot chocolate and strawberry lemonade. The atmosphere was very well decorated and cutesy I love that its a small stylist spot so its not overly crowded and loud. Service was good as well as the food. My table literally was obsessed with the waffles and the chicken! My cinnamon swirl pancakes were good but I had leftovers lol No way I could eat 3 pancakes. Would definitely come back. The food, service down to the drinks were really good too. Portions were just right. Highly recommend

Great service, good peoples!! Espresso is goooood!! Nice options on the menu, nice open comfortable seating. Booths are super comfy. I had the bacon wrapped filet. Filet was a bit tough even when ordered medium. I recommend the crispy potatoes over the melody. I ordered medium eggs but they came out well. I usually order medium cuz if not you got runny white stuff. I also had the texas toast, I would prefer a sourdough or wheat option. I'll def return to try out the other menu options and possibly try the lunch. After the meal, I felt good, like I just had a well made meal with high quality ingredients. Super good to feel that when eating out in today's world.

The food was decent, simple and yummy but the service was not great. They are visibility understaffed ( owners choice ) and didn't check up often, the waiters are also prepared food / drinks so they were just too busy to check on you, you have to order at the counter or at the table via QR code which is a nice thought but then you can't make any changes to your food, no customizations or preferences for cooking. also funny, they gave us one single ice cube in the water that was already melting lol It's definitely a place if you're looking for a simple breakfast with just an instagram worthy environment.

Ok, will start with the food we ordered and shared the Banana Bread French toast. It was delicious but very much like a dessert. The slices were thick and the brown sugar crumbled on top makes it extremely sweet. It will fill you up. Now on to service. It took a bit for waiter to come to our table as you can order a pay for your food through an app. Not made obvious to first timers I would suggest they have a sign on the tables. Oh and our side of sausage and bacon came out before the food. The restaurant is lovely, beautiful decor. The honeycomb ceiling is perfect . The bee Tv is an add charm. The prices are reasonable as well. Oh one other suggestion arrive early as the line and wait can get long on weekends. We arrived at 9 and were seated promptly.

Unique items on the menu, honey infused into a lot of things. The QR code and counter ordering is a little weird but once you make your order at the counter, you can definitely customize the food order however you see fit. The servers check up on you while you're seated. Wish it opened before 9:00am but I'm definitely coming back!

Was met at the door quickly and offered a seat. It's qt code ordering. Sierra was super sweet to me and my pup. Got the short rib Benedict. One of my favs. Lots of hollandaise sauce. Eggs poached perfectly. The croissant was grilled perfectly. Now let's talk about those potatoes.... I'm not big on potatoes but these are everything. Crisp, flavorful, extra decadent. Good sized portions Cute decor I wish they had more food or beverages that are honey inspired. No liquor. I had no wait at 1030 on a Wednesday. Street parking.

Pizza was good, but soggy in the middle. The pasta was good, no complaints there. The sandwich was very lacking in the meat department... It was basically a bread and arugula sandwich. Had very low expectations for the gelato to begin with seeing as the colors were extremely unnatural and the way it was heaped was a clear indication to me that it is not legitimate gelato and unfortunately, I was proven very right. I got the strawberry so that my toddler could have a few few bites and it was so unnatural and weird tasting that she didn't even want any... And if that doesn't say something! My husband got the coffee flavor and he literally took three bites and threw it away as well.
