This review is for customer service only. The Queen and I went there to see if they could fix her…read morecomputer. She is so hard on electronic equipment, like my mom...think it is in the blood. Anyway, she somehow broke the molded piece where you insert your power cord. No idea how she did that, didn't even know it was something you could break, but there you are, it's The Queen. Anyway we took her computer in to Chat Tech Solutions to see if they could fix it, The office is small but so cute. Very open space and lots of natural light. The gentleman who was working there was very pleasant and offered us beverages while he assessed the damage to the computer. He called someone because he was not sure if the repair could be done and it turns out, they do not do that type of repair because it requires soldering. However he was kind enough to recommend another place of business, which is where we ended up going to get the repair done. For me that shows a wonderful regard for taking care of the customer, even though they did not make the sale. I will definitely consider them for other work that they can take care.

I bought it in and explained the issues. Three days later, they called me and said it was ready to pick up. When I brought it home, it worked like a gem. I can honestly say I've had no issues since that time. The work they did was amazing and they even threw in a free mouse at the time because they were worried the one sent to me by the manufacturer was adding to some problems. As proof of what I'm sharing, here's the service sticker atop my computer. Note the date. Simply put, they are miracle workers. Yeah, you may have to wait a few days but it's well worth it!!!

But when I picked it up I was told it was an old offer and they couldn't honor it. Also the diagnostic was supposed to included testing "All" the PC components, but they weren't able to test my processor because they didn't have a similar motherboard. My processor ended up being okay, but if I replaced everything they told me to, and then found out my processor needed to be replaced too, I would have been very upset.

So he took my laptop and external hd to try to get the data from it. Unfortunately, it was fried pretty badly, but they work with another company that specializes in data recovery. I had my important data backed up already, so i decided to get a new computer all together bc i compromised on the original one that fried out. Figured i would just get the one i really wanted. They recycled the old computer and returned my external hd the same day i made the decision. Throughout the process, i was completely informed of their progress via email. If i wanted to replace my hd and recover windows, i wouldve gladly given them my business. I ended up paying only for the diagnosis I would wholeheartedly recommend these folks to anyone with computer issues, both to diagnose and fix

I brought my desktop computer in on 12/30/22 to get it repaired because either the motherboard or power supply burned out. I brought the computer in, left it with them, and went about my day. I hadn't heard back from them by 1/4, so I gave them a call to see what the prognosis was. The staff confirmed that the mother board blew out so I asked them to have the tech who was repairing it call me so I could talk to them about the best option to replace the motherboard. The staff (the owner I think) said the tech would call me. Several days after with no call, I call in and the owner tells me the tech will call me back Monday. Monday comes and goes and over the next ten days I call about 6-7 times to speak to the tech who will always "be in later" or who is "on lunch." After about 15 days of no contact from the tech and never being able to get ahold of him, I asked them to reassemble my machine so I can pick it up later. I come in a week later and I'm charged $20 for them to return my computer. I end up paying $25 since he only wanted cash and I only had plastic on me. I would not recommend this place, it felt very unprofessional and a bit suspicious.
