Called him, he came to my home, diagnosed the problem, took my laptop for one day and repaired it for significantly less than half the cost that HP wanted. I had a poorly configured home network with lots of connected devices, several computers, and network attached storage. A couple of computers had stopped talking to each other and passwords were messed up. I couldn't get the answers or solutions I needed from websites. I was frustrated. I had never used a consultant but Yelp directed me to Nestech Computers. I worked with Shawn of Nestech for an hour and a half. He remoted in to both my computers at the same time to see, test, diagnose, and adjust settings to success. He was knowledgeable and thorough in addressing my problems. He also cared about my whole network to add some extra network adjustments to improve its operation. I would use Nestech again. They left me with network nirvana, devices that all work together nicely.

Working with Matt was exactly that. He was prompt, professional, and refreshingly easy to work with. No unnecessary jargon, no drama, just honest expertise and a genuine commitment to getting the job done right. As a small business owner, having someone reliable to call when technology gets in the way is invaluable. If you're looking for an IT professional who knows his craft, communicates well, and delivers on his promises, I highly recommend him. Good people are hard to find. Great IT people are even harder.

He was able to get me in remotely for an hour to see what he could do. In the four-ish years I've been working with Matt, I'd never worked with him remotely. It's very cool and he got to the heart of the matter quickly without being here. And he told me what to do to keep it from happening again and he was right. Matt is kind, caring, funny, nice to kids and dogs, and a total find.

These guys saved me a couple hundred bucks!…read more My laptop wouldn't reliably charge and I was 99% certain the problem was with the charger port and not the charger. I was prepared to face expensive repairs or even buy a new laptop. I brought it in and they ascertained that the problem was the charger, and that the computer was in fine shape, and they located the right replacement and charged me only $25! Now, the charger l had been using was not the original one. I had bought it at Best Buy, after doing research online and making certain that it was the right one. Turns out it was not only not the right shape, it was too many volts. Moral: if you're having charger troubles, take your device in to a neighborhood repair shop like this one. Don't go to a big box store, don't shop online, don't act like you know what you're doing unless you KNOW you know what you're doing. The guys at Broadway Computers spent over half an hour looking for exactly the right charger, and they didn't even charge for labor. I think l actually spent less at Broadway Computers than I did at Best Buy, and for MUCH better service. If you live in Edgewater/Roger's Edge, you should check this place out!
